"Um, I'll take the Raspberry Tea (First Thing That Came To My Mind)." Eclipse announced. As Cherry Jazz scribbled it on her notepad, Cherry looked up for once. She smirked a goofy grin, seeing the stallion sitting on the opposite side of the mare. Eclipse gave her head the smallest of tilts. She glanced at Bronze, confused, and realized. "Oh, no, we're not-" she muttered.

"'Daw, just havin' fun with ya, Bronze." The mare said, writing down his order on her pad and trotting away, giggling. Bronze watched her go and shook his head with a small smile.
"Don't mind her. She does that to everypony." He laughed, looking across at Eclipse. Now that he could properly look at her, a part of his mind remarked that she was kinda pretty.

Gem Stone walked around, not paying attention to where she was or where she was going.

"I see." Eclipse said, pursing a a real smile. Normally, her smiles were fake, to give ponies a sense of reassurance. Now, she actually smiled out of pure hilarity, and her real and fake smiles were different quite a bit. Unfortunately, her pursed smile fade into a real smile, cheeks stretched. She barked a rough laugh, and, embarassed, smoothed it over with a fading, small giggle.

He told himself mentally. But then another voice reminded him that this was the perfect time to get to know her some more, after all...
"Here's your drinks, guys." Cherry Jazz said as she levitated the two ice cold glasses off her tray, her magic aura a blazing hot pink. "Y'all ready to order?"

IC: Eclipse smiled friendly, a fake smile, at Cherry. She took a sip of her tea. "Um, I'll have the regular veggie burger, alfalfa on the side, and some fries, please." Eclipse said, going over her order to make sure she got it right. She nodded to herself. Cherry Jazz scribbled on her notepad. "Alrighty, miss! And you, Bronze?" Cherry asked, twisting a smile at the stallion, looking at him expectantly. A tingly feeling started down in Eclipse's stomach. What was this feeling? Happiness? She didn't know much about that. Envy? Possibly. She definitely knew what that felt like. The burning grew more as Cherry Jazz leaned over towards Bronze, lightly batting her delicate eyelashes. What is this feeling? Am I jealous? She is lots more prettier than me... Eclipse thought, doubt and self loathing consuming her thoughts. She blinked and shook it off.

"Alright, then. Soup of the day's cream of mushroom, by the way." Cherry said before trotting off with their order. Bronze chuckled as he heard her call to the cook "Gimme two green skates with laces, one with the stampede. Sides of clippings and shrooms."

Eclipse blinked. She knew the feeling. It was jealously. But not the normal kind. Like envy mixed with anger. And it all came down to his eyes.

Eclipse studied Bronze's eyes carefully. They were like an olive-like green with a tint of hazel. Her father's eyes. There was nothing about Bronze like her father- except his eyes. It was as if he stole them. Wasp Wings, her father, died years ago. Her mother looked nothing like Cherry. That's why she felt fury- a pony looking nowhere near her mother batting her eyelashes at somepony with her father's eyes. Her father's eyes had been Eclipse's favorite part of her father. She sighed and stopped staring at Bronze's eyes- she didn't want to seem like a stalker pony.

(Eclipse's Father)

"Really, it was me just running away from my hometown as a filly." she admitted. "I mean, ever since my family was..." she paused and took a breathe. "murdered, I ran. I didn't want to be anywhere near that town. So I ran. And ran. And ran... and now I'm here. Of course, they tried to kill me, too, but I escaped with only a scar." she sighed, gesturing to her shoulder, which had a scar on her shoulder blade. "To be honest, I wished they killed me instead for a long time." she sighed again. Eclipse had never told anypony this, and here she was confessing it to a stranger surrounded by other strangers.
