Gem was a bit surprised at first but then smiled. "This look suits you better" she said. She was happy that she wasn't the only one here who looked "strange", as some ponies would call it.

"I prefer to look normal" Butterfly said. "I don't get funny looks"

"At least you have the option" Gem said quietly "I barely come out just to avoid everypony."

Butterfly smiled. "At least we're not alone"

Gem smiled back. "Yep" she said happily.

"So, um, I don't really know what to do now. I haven't introduced myself like that to anypony before" Butterfly said scratching the ground with her dragon claws.

"I'm not sure what to do either. I've never really been able to meet anyone else before" she said, flicking her tail.

"Do you want to go to sugarcube corner?" Butterfly asked.

"Sure" Gem said happily.

Butterfly stretched her wings and then began to hover above the ground.

Gem hovered next to her, her tail almost roughing the ground.

Butterfly began to fly towards sugercube corner. She wasn't that fast.

Gem had to slow down a little to stay with Butterfly. She couldn't help it, she was naturally fast.

Butterfly landed and her wings folded awkwardly.

Gem landed beside her and folded her wings, giving Butterfly a happy smile.

Butterfly smiled. She trotted inside and looked at what was available.

Gem followed and thought about what she wanted.

"Do you want a muffin?" Butterfly asked.

"Hmm, sure" Gem said happily.
