Gem Stone was walking through town quietly. Her ears were down and she had her tail close to her body. She felt a bit uncomfortable walking through town, mostly because of her appearance. She didn't even want to know what the regular ponies thought of her.

May I have Generosity, then?

Ruby hummed as she walked along the road. "Lovely place isn't it?" She asked the bird flying above her head. "Nice day, too!"

Gem Stone began heading home. She had the stuff she needed in saddlebags. She didn't like to stay out for too long, something bad always happened when she did. She just wanted to get home.

"I've never seen you before. Might I ask your name? Um, you look quite a lot like Fluttershy." He said, trying his hardest to inject a friendly tone into his rough baritone.

Darkened Eclipse glided lazily around Ponyville. Her lean body edged her flying skills, making it easier for her to float around, propelled by her wings. She flew by two ponies, and stopped abruptly. One looked amazingly like Fluttershy, but Eclipse had just seen her from above enter Sugarcube Corner. Another pony, a unicorn, was a colt. He was brown with a shaggy blue-white mane and tail. Darkened Eclipse took in a worried breathe. No friends. she reminded herself. Opportunity to make some- Or opportunity to embarrass myself? she thought, and before her brain moved to think about it, her wings did. Soon enough she found herself joining the group. "H-hi." she said awkwardly.

Gemstone saw a group of ponies and stopped for a second. She wanted to go over and talk to them, but was afraid of what they would say about her appearance. They probably wouldn't want to talk to a dragon pony hybrid that just walked up to them.

"Ooh, I see. And your father?" asked Eclipse curiously.

"Ahh, Discord, yes, he's quite- Wait. Discord?" Eclipse choked. Discord had been a friend of hers way back. He had always done "chaos" for her, but not in a harmful way. And he married? And had children? And never told her? "Oh, yes. Discord. I... knew him." she awkwardly muttered.

He took an involuntary step back at the mention of Discord. "Discord..? Man. That's actually pretty cool." He said, not wanting to scare the fill---Butterfly, away. His parents were good friends with Fluttershy, actually. He wondered why they had never mentioned her having a daughter around his age.

Ruby walked over to them. "Excuse me, do you know where a Twi- Did you say Discord was your father?" She asked the pegasus thing. "That's...Interesting."

Gem Stone bumped into one of the ponies as she was walking and jumped in surprise. "I'm sorry" the dragon pony said quickly.

Gem Stone was a bit surprised that the pony didn't say anything about how she looked. Usually she could see some strange reaction to her appearance. She gave the pony a small smile.

Gem Stone smiled at her. "Thanks" she said "I'm Gem Stone, but you can call me Gem. What's your name?"
