singing a song, just like they do.
if the clouds were singing a song, i'd sing along,
wouldn't you too?
if you just knew what they could do.
oh, if you just knew, what would they do?
While waiting once more for some sign of reply, Breezythoughts turned his head back to Littleriver as she spoke up. He nodded along, agreeing that they'd at least figure out a way to communicate. It'd just take a little work. But he was plenty good with working on it. Disabled cats had to stick together!
The low growling that issued from the new cat's position caused one of the tom's ears to flick before turning once more back to them. He couldn't help it, his whiskers were twitching with mild amusement. Stomachs always seemed to growl at the most inconvenient and embarrassing times--he wasn't going to comment though, in case that only exacerbated any embarrassment the other cat might have been feeling over it. Besides, he was quickly distracted when he heard them getting up and starting to walk away. For a moment, he was confused--he thought they were getting on pretty well--but realized that they must be going to find food. That was probably a good idea, he was getting a bit hungry too, and if he had to guess, he'd have said that Littleriver wouldn't necessarily turn down food either. Though, of course, he couldn't be sure of that.
Standing up now as well, Bree, turned his head and ears, getting an idea of where the other cat was going, tail lifting up into the air, he paused just short of taking a step to follow so that he could look back at Little.
"You hungry too? I could go for something." Grinning now, inexplicably more cheerful now than he was even before, the cream tabby turned on his heels and sprang after the silent cat, using her squeaks as guidance for where she was. There was a bounce in his step that he couldn't deny hadn't been there for a while--something about meeting these two was just...exhilarating, in a way. Or something. He didn't know but he didn't really care to analyze it, either. If he was happy and feeling good, then he was going to roll with it.
That said, while he did spring forward a little haphazardly, it wasn't with a complete lack of caution. Even if he was feeling great and excited, he was still blind, and he still had to be careful of where he put his paws, keep his senses keen so he didn't walk into a tree or trip in a rabbit hole. Plus, they were going to be hunting, so okay, after he was within a tail-length from the silent cat, Breezy dialed it back a bit. Scaring all the prey within a five mile radius was not the way to catch food at all.
ooc;; pfft that reply was not bleh, it was wonderful c:
