Maplekit (below) was shoved carelessly into a few round strips of bark, held together by sap. Maplekit whimpered as her wooden cradle thing rocked violently. "Where are you taking me?" the calico kitten cried. "No where." snarled a brown tabby, his voice deep and filled with hatred. Her father. A dark, russet colored she-cat calico lied unconscious on a tom, who's pelt was pale grey, but at the time, a pinkish color, soaked in blood. His claws were dripping scarlet, and his teeth stained crimson. His name was Scar, due to a long, flesh-deep scar going from his eyelid to his shoulder. "Mother!" screeched Maplekit, staring at the motionless russet she-cat on his back. "Silence!" screamed Scar. Maplekit winced, cowering. The tortoiseshell kit curled up into a ball, her eyes stinging with tears, shut tightly, until the rocking and bumping of the basket rocked her to sleep..
...Maplekit woke up to a face, piercing her with yellow glowing eyes. Dark grey. A smirk plastered on his face, but his eyes gleamed with malice. Maplekit winced. "Hello, little she-kit." he growled. Maplekit didn't answer. Her eyes were wide and green. "Welcome to BloodClan." his voice was scary. Maplekit looked around to see her mother, conscious, on her paws. "Your name is now Dapple. Your mother is now Blaze, and your father, as a true member of BloodClan as a rogue, will remain as Skull." Maplekit already hated her name. But, forced too, her name was now Dapple. The gray tom grinned. "Now, to prove your loyalty to BloodClan, I, Deadheart, demand you to kill this cat, or you will be executed." Dapple turned to see a cave. A guard forced her kill to show himself. Dapple gasped, tears coming to her eyes.
It was her crush, and best friend, Falconkit.
