  • Unpopular!Bullied!Girl x Popular!Boy

( The boy doesn't have to be human, he can be anything)

    ~Short summary~
Alari Etsuko was that one girl in highschool that everybody decided to pick on. She seemed to be hated by everyone there, an really, she was the most unpopular person in school. The girl has no friends and lives with her aunt, as mother had passed away when she was 8, and her father passed when she was 11. Alari is really just the doll that anyone could do anything with, so why does the most popular boy in school start talking to her?

  • (Sorry for the late reply, I'm getting on in school on a phone so XD)
Alari let out a small groan as the bell went off. Racing down the hallways she struggled not to drop her supplies. She was suppose to be at math, well, she was a 'little' late. Reaching the door she yanked it open, only to drop all of her supplies on the classroom floor. And then it happened, like always. Everyone was laughing.

  • Jake frowned at his mate next to him who was also laughing as the bell went off and his fellow students stuff was spilled over the floor.

"What?" his friend asked him, and Jake just shook his head and stood up, walking over to the girl who had fallen over. He crouched down, reaching out his hand towards her to help her out, noting the fact that the class went quiet in shock as he did so. "You ok?" Jake asked, hand still outstretched.

  • Alari looked up and felt herself freeze in shock. She opened her mouth then closed it again, and with slight hesitation she grabbed his hand. "T-Thanks." She stuttered, looking down at her feet. "Sorry to cause you trouble." She whispered before slowly walking to the back of the class, her pale green gaze not bothering to leave the ground.

  • Jake gave the girl another smile as she left, and straightened up before walking back to his own hair, brushing the red hair out of his face and into its usual neat look. Turning he sat his friend staring at him, eyes wide. "What?" he questioned, although he got no answer from his friend as the teacher walked in.

  • Alari started to draw on her hand, and she quickly realized that she was drawing a chess piece, the knight. 'Why would I draw this?' She asked herself confused but finished the drawing on her right hand. Yes, she was left handed. "Alari! Pay attention!" A voice snapped and she jerked upwards only to hit her knuckles on the sharp edge of the desk and she gritted her teeth, feeling pain shoot through her hand. "Sorry." She muttered as most people started snicking and glancing at her, she then glanced down and saw a thin line of blood running across the chess piece on her hand. She then realized she must have caught it good, it wasn't deep but it was deep enough to bleed.

  • I found the thread again at last xD

Sorry about that, I got on yesterday and clicked on mark all replies as read. This isn't the only one I lost, so hopefully people send me messages asking where I am xD

Snickering erupted across the classroom, however there was no real humor to the fact that somebody had gotten hurt, or the fact that someone was bleeding... Suddenly Joke raised his hand, getting the teachers attention, "Sir, Alarm is bleeding. Can I take her down to the infirmary?" he questioned carefully and reasonably, the question shunning the class once again into silence.

  • Alari twisted her head to look at Jake, her eyes widened in surprise. She noticed everyone else was in shock as well and she shifted uneasily before turning to look at the teacher. Even the teacher seemed slightly surprised, in all honesty most teachers seemed to hate her. She had a horrible attention span, never turned in anything on time, always came into class late, some kid was always getting her in trouble, she somehow always disrupted the class and let's not even get started with her anger issues when it came to her talking with the teachers. Sure, her voice was almost always in a whisper but her time could sure sharpen. She looked back at Jake again, wondering what the teacher would say.
(It's fine! X3 I left the teachers reply up to you)

  • "Fine" the teacher grumbled after a couple of seconds frozen, and Joke stood up immediately, ignoring his friends amazed look as he did so. As he turned to face Alari, he couldn't help but smile at her, then began a steady approach to her desk, where he stopped, "you gonna get your stuff?" Joke asked her gently, blue eyes shining and a friendly smile on his face.

If this had been a year ago, Joke would have done nothing. In fact, he would be one of the students laughing, joking about her. However, this year, something had changed him both mentally and physically, and so he was determined to do what was right from now on. This girl had done nothing wrong, and he couldn't just stand around watching her being mistreated. This was the first change in his daily life he was making, the ability to help others.

  • Alari gave a small nod before whispering,"Y-Yeah." She stood up and grabbed her stuff, trying to avoid eye contact with anyone. "Why are you doing this?" She asked still whispering, her voice dropping even lower. She glanced up at Jake then started walking towards the door but not to quickly as she slowed down for him, blood dropping onto her supplies from get hand.

  • Jake took the bag gently from Alari as he passed her, and opened up the door for her, "any reason why I shouldn't?" he asked, his eyes catching onto the occasional drip from her hand as she walked, "Cause I see none" he told her with a small wink of his blue eyes, which only radiated confidence.

  • "Because I don't matter." Alari stated simply, no emotion of any sort lapping her voice. "Everyone hates me, there were people who use to love me . . . but they can't speak anymore." She added. She didn't know if he would understand what she meant but it didn't really matter, she had finally told someone in some sort of way at least. "It would have been her birthday today . . ." She whispered outloud, but more to herself.
(I am going somewhere without its own wifi Tomorrow and Sunday so I have to use my phone's wireless so I will still reply but they won't be as consistent for the next two days)

  • That's fine xD I'm usually addicted to another game so... yeah.

"Well don't say that, after all, I see you as someone who is more humble than others. Tat makes you more important in my book than the others" Jake stated, letting the door shut behind them as they walked out of the classroom. After all, the living are more important than the dead... And if this girl isn't important, what am I? he thought silently, then But don't think these selfish thoughts, your trying to change after all. As they walked down the hallway Jake glanced over to Alari, he asked a question, "So whos birthday is it today? Or is it personal?" he questioned, once again looking at her with his eyes. It was as if they were two keys, that could unlock anybody who he looked at.

  • "My mother's. . . but I can only give her flowers I guess. She can't move anymore, she'll never see me again." Alari replied after a small moments hesitation before seeing the doorway to the nurse's office down the hall. "Daddy's with her too." She added, not bothering to add anything else, trying to ignore the sadness she felt. But that sadness was always there, something she couldn't get rid of.

  • "Oh... Is that so..." Jake asked, his voice slightly higher as he finished the phrase, then suddenly raised one hand l, pointing it in the air, "well no worries. I'm sure that they like the flowers" he said with a wink. When I was dead. Nobody gave me flowers... Flowers aren't simply decoration in that place, they are life. Without them... Without them... "Well then, here we are" Jake stated as they arrived at the office

  • "Thanks." Alari whispered as she walked into the office, heading to find the nurse. She said nothing else to Jake, feeling something was bothering her when she did so. She didn't want to ever leave the office, she felt like acting sick to avoid looking at the other students. "I just wanna go home." She muttered, glancing around as she noticed the nurse not to far off.
