Matthew opened his umbrella and handed it to Lovino, seeing as how only one of them could fit under it. "Here. I'm used to the rain, but you could definitely use this umbrella." He told his lover, giving him a little smile while leading him through the streets.

Lovino let out a small 'thanks' as he held on to the umbrella but the Italian couldn't help but feel guilty as he held hands, using his free hand, with his getting-wet boyfriend.

Of course, Matthew got soaked. Pouring raindrops settled in his long locks of curly hair and on his hoodie, but the Canadian male didn't seem to mind. He turned to Lovino and gave him a smile, chuckling a bit. "I wonder if Arthur will let me in his house, soaked as this." He joked softly. "But it's fine. Plus, you always tell me that I'm dripping wet with good looks, anyway." Matthew commented, hoping to lighten the mood and make his boyfriend feel less guilty.

Aaah shit, sorry I haven't been around! I opened up this roleplay, decided to reply to it later, and never remembered it again. Then I got swept up, I've been super busy with a project called Project Canada. Being a VA in the project and trying to keep the forum alive has been taking up a lot of time. OOC: Well this is really a side thing, after these two have a semi-forced double date with Germany and Italy, I was thinking that Canada would be completely swamped with paper work causing Romano to get all pouty that his boyfriend doesn't have time to give him any attention or much else really so he ends up asking Italy for advice, since Germany often had the same problem, on how to get the Canadian's attention. He ends up taking his brother's advice, which is funny enough, and ends up going into the Canadian's office and squirms around until he is sitting in Canada's lap and as stubborn as he is wont move until Canada promises to take a break, and we all know Canada is too polite to just push Romano off so he would eventually have to agree. And maybe after that they end up having a nice kissing moment until Prussia, like the awesome cock-blocker he is, just bursts in and ruins the moment instantly~ What do you think?
IC: It didn't take long until they arrived and Arthur was actually waiting at the door," Finally you two get here, you sure took you bloody time. Oh Matthew your soaked! Please come in and get dry," the Brit said as he ushered the two in while Lovino just muttered something about 'Tea Bastard' and 'rainy weather' under his breath.

That sounds fine to me! Just so you're aware, I do headcanon Matthew as having social and generalized anxiety; he seems like that sort of person, to me. So do know that when he gets the paperwork, I will make frequent jabs at lack of sleep such as pointing out bags under the eyes, lagged motion, and even falling asleep in the midst of conversation/other things.

He glanced at the liquid with a little hum, sensing the horror his boyfriend was going through. "Hey, it might not look or smell or taste great, but it's the only way you're going to get back to normal." He tried to remind Lovino, giving the other a crooked and awkward little smile.

Lovino stayed quiet for a few minutes before muttering a small 'fine' and snatching the vial and swallowing the green liquid, but then almost immediately afterwards the Italian fainted and slumped against his Canadian boyfriend. "Don't worry, that was supose to happen! Lovino needs to be unconsious for about an hour so the potion can work throughout his body," Arthur quickly explained to Matthew before the other blond could freak out.
