[fancypost bgcolor= transparent; bordercolor= invisible; borderwidth= 0px; overflow: auto; width: 500px; font-family: verdana; color: --;][justify]OOC: My OC, Stenverge or Eliska Lahti, is hosting this year's annual Nordic meeting. She's been avoiding it for as long as she can remember because of the recent alliance formed by all of the Nordics. They have all been living together under a single union due to rising tension in Northern Europe, but she has refused to join. At this meeting, she will give in after your character [any nordic of your choice] brings it up and tries to sway her into joining. Your character has always worried for her safety and well being and loves her dearly, though has never thought much of this affection until she moves in with the boys. I will play any Nordic(s) that you don't want to, so no need to worry about anybody other than who you want to play.

    IC:
    Eliska was absolutely, positively exasperated.

This evening's meeting was being held in the Stenvergen capital of Hansoncross, and only six countries were in attendance: Mathias Køhler, Berwald Oxenstierna, Tino Väinämöinen, Emil Steilsson, Lukas Bondevik, and Eliska Lahti. They were seated around a table, equipped with mugs of steaming coffee or, in her case, overlooked stacks of paperwork. The meeting had gone on for a solid three hours at that point, and Eliska had made as minimal conversation as possible, each time not bothering to hide just how grumpy she was.

The boys had spent most of the time going back and forth between arguing and joking around with each other, occasionally trying and failing to get her to join in on their conversations. She would make curt remarks before pretending to go back to her endless mound of paperwork.

Ugh, still another hour left of this. At least they've not brought up that stupid alliance yet. She knew it was only a matter of time before the uncomfortable topic came up.

  • Haha okay! :D))
    ...
Finland looked around the room, hoping desperately that Denmark and Mr.Sweden wouldn't make a scene like they had many times before today. He'd been taking ever opportunity to squeeze in a joke to lighten up the atmosphere or have a surprisingly good suggestion on how to solve a problem of interest during the conversation. But now, there was a slight tension between the other four Nordics and so he kept quieter until he had to play the role of "peace maker" once more. His violet gaze turned to Eliska and without even meaning to, he had dozed off with his eyes focused on her and her paperwork. He felt as though something was upsetting her, and as he fixed the collar and the cross neck charm on his light blue military uniform out of boredom.
