    Willowsong beamed at the tom her blue eyes gleaming, " And I cannot wait until that day..". Her mind lit up like a wildfire at the thought of being a mother. It was seemingly what she always wanted. The queen began to groom her creamy brown fur.


    Darkfang assembled the cats and headed out the camp, he looked back quickly to steal a glance of Willowsong. Her brown fur shining in the sunlight he smiled. He was proud to be the father of her kits. The group of cats pounded through the overgrowth.

    Stonestar nodded to Honeysplash ¨ Of course!¨ He purred to her. The leader had taken an interest in her but wasn't sure if they were real feelings for he still loved his passed mate, Whiteblossom.


    Lemonglaze heard her name and got up, she trotted over delicately though turned her head as to ignore Chromebristle.


    Almondleaf awaited with the cats as he flicked his tail.


    Plumstream purred and guided Blazekit out of the nursery ¨ Jaykit, remember be a gentleman¨ she softly reminded him.

    "Mom we both he's not gonna be one." Blazekit whispered. Jaykit arrogantly padded over to Ashwood. "Hey you!" He exclaimed bluntly looking at her. "How in the name of Starclan is your pelt so glossy looking?"

    Ashwood looked surprised then looked down at the kit ¨Oh, you must be Almondleaf's son¨ she half purred. Her tail swished back and forth as she talked to the arrogan furball ¨ I was simply born with glossy fur, my mother thought it was best to name me after the smooth gray ashes that would easily smudge your delicate fur.¨ She explained to the tomkit even though he probably didn't care much.

    Jaykit grinned. "That's cool ! I want my fur to be that cool!" He purred loudly before remembering his manners so Plumstream didn't scold him. "Thanks for telling me Ashwood!" He then went back over to Plumstream and Blazekit and smiled. "Can my pelt be as pretty as Ashwood's?"

    Dawn ~ A slight breeze blew gently through the forest, ruffling up the undergrowth here and there. The forest was full of prey enjoying the warm weather and searching for food. A plump squirrel clambered down a tree. When it reached the bottom it raised it's nose to the sky and sniffed for the scent of food. It was about to start moving towards another tree when all of a sudden it stiffened. It looked around before darting back towards the tree it had come down from. A moment later a small cat leaped through a nearby bush, giving chase to the squirrel. The cat's pelt was ragged and covered in dirt, showing that the cat obviously hadn't groomed himself in a while. When the cat reached the trunk of the tree, the squirrel had already climbed up to a branch far above his head. With a deep growl the cat turned away, agitated about the failed catch "Mouse-dung! I almost had it!"


    Honeysplash ~ Honeysplash nodded in acknowledgement and waited for the patrol to head out.


    Nettlefur ~ Sitting next to the queen, Nettlefur let out a slight sigh. He had always liked the idea of having kits. He quickly shook his head You're a medicine cat. You chose this path.

    Willowsong glanced over at the medicine cat, " I have been thinking about what I should name them.." Even though Willowsong didn't know the genders or how many kits she would have, she liked to think ahead. Her sky blue eyes grew round in thought.

    Nettlefur ~ Turning his gaze towards Willowsong, Nettlefur meowed "Do tell." His meow was filled with a hint of curiosity.

    OOC: yay im accepted! im gonna put Moonkit and Flashkit at the border
    Flashkit: She meowed her heart out because she was cold and hungry
    Moonkit: He waited by his sister and meowed too, but not as loud

    "Well.. " the queen trailed off thoughtfully, " If they looked like their father, I would probably give them names after him like.. well Shadowkit or Darkkit or something like that.." Willowsong aqua eyes gazed at the medicine cat slightly, " And I really like names that involve something to do with the sky so maybe I might name them.. after the Sky and Birds that fly.." She tilted her head, " But I might even name one after you, Nettlefur.. Because you are such a kind cat." Willowsong's eyes glimmered in her honesty.

    Nettlefur ~ Nettlefur was taken aback for a moment. "T-Thank you," he finally managed to stutter. He was surprised, but humbled that the queen would even think of naming one after him.

    Willowsong just smiled and nodded her head and she let out a purr. Her tail swished slowly back and forth in a calm movement. The Queen responded, " You're very welcome, Nettlefur"

    Nettlefur ~ Nettlefur let out a purr, wrapping his tail neatly around his paws. His gaze flicked around th clearing, bathed in the morning sunlight "I'm sure you'll be busy soon enough," he meowed, a hint of amusement in his eyes.
