  • Candyheart skidded to a halt as she reached the tree. Trying to catch her breath she sat down and wiated for her apprentice and Poppypaw. While doing so she stuck her nose in the air and tried to smell out any prey. Mouse! She quickly dropped into a hunters crouch and saw out of the corner of her eye the mouse. Walking carefully she posistioned herself to leap and pow. Trotting back around the tree with a limp mouse in her jaws she set it down and started to dig a whole.

Poppypaw was running a little behind so with all her effort she sprinted forward in distance to leap at the Sycamore. THen she froze. Poppypaw skidded to a halt when she smelt the most juciest thing ever. Squirell! Poppypaw sat down and waited for Emberpaw but couldn't help her mouth watering at the thought of squirell and seeing Candyheart's limp mouse.

  • Emberpaw bounded through the trees up to the Great Sycamore. He was running up to Candyheart and Poppypaw when the scent of vole stopped him in his tracks. He turned to face the scent, and spotted the vole. He dropped into a crouch and crept silently forward. The vole was facing the opposite direction, and didn't see Emberpaw creeping up on it. Emberpaw sprang, swiped at the vole, and killed it swiftly. He picked up the vole in his jaws and trotted triumphantly back to Candyheart and Poppypaw.

  • Candyheart looked up from her freshly made kill and nodded while saying, "Nice catch, Emberpaw!" Finally burying the mouse into the dirt she insrtucted, "Bury it so we can get it at the end of the hunt."

Poppypaw sprang away as soon as Emberpaw got there and raced after the squirell. Jumping her paws extended they landed around the squirell as she bent her head down quickly and deptached it with one bite on the neck. Proudly she made her way back to Emberpaw and Candyheart dragging the rabbit along with her. Moving towards Emberpaw she found a nice place to keep her prey and started to dig. Covering up the rabbit with the soil she smiled at Emberpaw with a twinkle in her eye.

  • RazorNeedle padded around the sycamore tree, he went out hunting, enraged because of the other day with Ravageclaw and TurtleVoice. He tasted the air and smelled the old Thunderclan scent and a mouse to the left of him. He glanced at it and prowled when the mosue looked and saw his falring orbs, and leaped and threw it in the air and then then jumped and clawed right through it. He lied down and started to take vigorous bites, dreaming it was Ravageclaws throat he was biting through.

  • Emberpaw buried his fresh-kill, then looked up at Poppypaw. As he met her eyes, he felt something like lightning hit him, only it didn't hurt one bit. He held her gaze for a few heartbeats, then a noise drew his attention toward Razorneedle.
"Hey, Razorneedle!" he meowed, "How have you been?"

  • Razorneedle was grumbling something as he ate vigoriously then he heard a familiar voice and glanced to the side to see Embarpaw and another apprentice he never seen. Then he saw a warrior with that caught his eyes, but let it go by just keeping one eye on her. Then he ate the last remenants of his mouse and his eyes turned from cold to a warm gaze, "Hey Emberpaw, how's the prey running?"He glanced up at the warrior and continued, "Who's your friends? This your mentor I supose?" He held an amusing tone as he remembered what they did and how he met Emberpaw. Great times.

  • "There's plenty of fresh-kill around here", Emberpaw answered, "This is Candyheart, my mentor, and Poppypaw, another apprentice." He gestured toward each of the other cats with his tail.

  • Razorneedle nodded his agreement to Poppypaw and then looked up and stood frozen as he stared at Candyheart then recovered his mishap and nodded rapidly, "Pleasure to meet you both" he mewed flustered, 'I wonder if she has a mate' he thought then shook his head in front of them and looked down. What was he thinking!? If she had a mate? Of course she did!
    He sighed, he'd never find a she-cat.

  • Emberpaw noticed Razorneedle's discomfort. He was about to ask what was wrong when he scented a mouse. Tail twitching, he inched toward the smell. It was quite a big mouse, and it looked like it had a lot of meat on its bones. This mouse could feed at least three kits at once. He pounced and bit down, snapping the creature's neck. The mouse felt no pain.
Emberpaw walked over to the place where his vole was buried, and added the mouse to the pile, covering the fresh-kill up.

  • OOC-Lets wait for Heatherclaw before we post more I guess. Or Pm her.

IC-Razorneedle looked at Emberpaw with a amusing glint in his eye, though flustered he spoke with praise, "Looks like your still keeping your hunting up Emberpaw. Your mentor has taught you well" he glanced at her and nodded his head again but turned quickly back to Emberpaw.

  • OOC: OK, I'll send her a PM, and we'll wait for her to post. I'll bookmark the topic in the meantime.

IC: Emberpaw swelled with pride at Razorneedle's praise. He had no doubts that this cat would become a great friend of his. Yet he couldn't help noticing how uncomfortable he looked around Candyheart.

  • OOC: She doesn't have a mate deathpelt, oh and does Razorneedle have an apprentice 'cause Poppypaw needs a mentor and it would be a love triangle

IC: Candyheart looked up and smiled before looking down flustered. She picked up an overwelming scent of vole as she made her way around the roots of the tree she saw it. The fattest vole she'd seen in ages. Stalking it quitley she pounced coming back with a vole. Trying to not be inpolite without talking she said, "You must be Razorneedle. I'm Candyheart, I see you have met my apprentice." Lookking down at her paws she added the fat vole with her mouse.

Poppypaw couldn't help but giggle. She walked away as she did it seeing a bird pirched on a low branch. Poppypaw slid her claws into the Sycamore then quitley climbed up. Carefull not to shake the branch she slid quietley across it. Then her paw posed and fell on the bird. A squak not very loud happened to ring in her ears. Coming down with the red bird in her jaws she flashed another daring look towards Emberpaw and sighed.

  • OOC-No he doesen't.

IC-"Yes, I met your apprentice before. An energetic one he is" He mewed cheerfully and glanced at Poppypaw going up the sycamore, he looked worried but let her climb. When Poppypaw came down he was relieved and then gazed upon Candyheart again and couldn't get his eyes off her. He felt flustered again and looked at Poppypaw, "So who's your mentor Poppypaw?" he said, weird how her mentor isin't out here.

  • Poppypaw looked down at her paws then back at him and said, "I don't have one." Embaressed she started to dig up her prey and she placed the red bird on top of her rabbit. Before shoving the soil above it she careully shot an afeectionate glance at Emberpaw pulling it back though after a couple of seconds.

Candyheart nodded in agreement then said playfully, "He is a big handfull." She gentley cuffed Emberpaw over the ear then turned back blushing. She took a couple minutes then finally she looked at Razorneedle again.

  • Emberpaw had watched Poppypaw catch the bird, and congratulated her on the kill. "Nice catch, Poppypaw," he mewed, meeting her eyes. He wished he could sit there forever, staring at her, but he scented some more prey, and he knew the Clan needed more fresh-kill. He managed to turn and follow the strong scent of mouse. It didn't take long to find the source of the scent. Emberpaw stared, mouth gaping. He had happened across a group of mice in a den made in the crevice of a small rock. There were four mice in the den together. Emberpaw knew he couldn't catch them all, and if he tried to catch even one, the other three would run away. He signaled Razorneedle, Poppypaw, and Candyheart over with a flick of his tail, careful not to surprise the mice.

  • Razorneedle looked sympatheticly at Poppypaw, 'Can't help to feel the same, I have no apprentice' he thought sadly then saw Emberpaw flick his tail at al of them and he slowly padded over to him.

  • Poppypaw quietley made her way over towards Emberpaw. Now she saw what he saw and her mouth dropped open. Four she thought, one for all of us. Moving to the right side of the mice's make shift den she waited for the others to follow.

Candyheart looked up and started to stalked quietly towards Emberpaw. Her head kept shifting backwards peeking a look at Razorneedle. Candyheart finally got to where Poppypaw and Emberpaw were standing and gasped in astonishment. Taking her posistion she moved to the left of the crevice.

  • Razorneedle couldn't help but stare at Candyheart the whole way she came and he tripped over a root and landed on his head, flustered he continued to what they saw and crouched to and was ready to spring, not glancing anymore at Candyheart for the sake of not embarressing himself.

  • Emberpaw whispered as quietly as he could to the others, "We each need to go for a different mouse. I'll take that one," he mewed, gesturing toward the one the farthest to hist left.

  • Candyheart whispered, "I'll take that one." Gesturing lightly to the one on her center right. She choked down the thought of embarssing herself in front of Razorneedle.

Poppypaw nodded at Emberpaw then Candyheart. Quickly she whispered, "I'll get that little rascall." She flicked her nose towards the one on her right. She crouched down low and stared at the soon to be her prey.
