  • Ooc: On mobile. Jeez, Burning's popular atm.

Ic: Burningpaw stuck out his tongue, prodding Aspenstorm in the side. "Stop being so grumpy!" His ear twitching when he heard Branbleheart, he turned, his eyes glinting with excitement. "You're on!" the apprentice challenged as he trotted out of camp with the warriors. He sat as still as he could when Aspenstorm stalked the vole. "Nice catch!" Burningpaw commented. "My turn now!" Lifting his nose to the sky, the tom sniffed deeply. A mouse was nearby. Getting to his paws, he lowered himself to the forest floor. He crept towards the scuffling creature. He was getting ready to pounce, when the wind shifted. Alarmed, the mouse shot for its hole. Leaping, Burningpaw's paws hit the ground where it had been a moment earlier. "Mouse-dung!" He cried frustratedly. "The wind changed."

Longshadow sighed, finally pulling himself out of the warrior's den. Stretching, the tom's tail quivered as he pressed his chest to the ground. Sitting up, he twisted around, beginning to groom his matted fur.

  • Aspenstorm broke into a harsh laughter. "You can't catch a mouse if it was in your paws pleading for death!"

  • Still frustrated, Burninpaw turned on the warrior,."I could catch a mouse, if you'd shut up long enough for them to come out of their burrows!" He snapped. "It's not my fault the wind changed!"

  • He calmed, but still lightly chuckling. "So, you're telling me that you're blaming the wind for missing valuable prey? A kit could've caught it!" he snorted.

  • Sparklesong had been listening, amused by the two bickering. But when Burningpaw began snapping at the warrior, she gave him a look."Is that any way you talk to a warrior?" She asked, setting him with a serious look. She heard rustling in the trees above her and she looked up to spot a fat juicy squirrel. She smirked and bounded up the tree with ease, quickly prowling out on the branch. The squirrel spotted her and ran down the tree, right into Burningpaw's paws!

Morningsky looked at the deputy, a wary look on her face. Why was she talking to her? It's not like she had done anything bad."Hello.." She said curtly, looking away from the she-cat in front of her.

  • I'm playing games and rping while wearing a Nikola Tesla costume..... :T

Aspenstorm quickly pushed away Burningpaw to scare the squirrel off, laughing.

  • Sparklesong climbed down from the tree, snarling at Aspenstorm. The squirrel scurried away and up another tree."You could have easily caught that prey!" She spat at him, her claws sliding out in anger."We have to feed the elders and queens! Do they not matter to you?" She snapped, standing right in front of him. She got in close to his face, her green eyes blazing with anger."Don't think I won't tell Tawnystar about that."

  • Aspenstorm stretched, acting a few moons older. "Ahh, I'll be joining them soon anyway. My old bones are getting no worth of clan life."

  • Burningpaw, having been pushed to the ground, slowly and silently stood up, shaking the dust from his pelt. "I'm going back to camp," he muttered, turning away and padding in ghe direction of camp. "Finish the patrol yourselves."

Ooc: Don't misinterperet that. He's more upset than angry. XD

  • "You're such a ungrateful piece of fox dung!" Sparklesong spat, before turning pointedly and padding away. She could hear the blood roaring in her ears and her claws dug deep into the dirt with every step. She was beyond angry. She was downright furious! She slashed out at a tree, scoring her sharp claws across its touch bark.

  • Aspenstorm gave a snort as they both left him. But deep down, he did realize he was being ungrateful. But he'd never admit it, as his pride was too great.
