Mika shivered violently as he paced down the alley in the pouring rain, he was soaked head to toe and he barely felt the rain that use to feel like sharp knives. He was exhausted and even picking up his paw felt like they were tied to a block of iron, he knew eventually he would collapse, but there was no place for shelter.

  • Lucy was walking home soaked to the skin from the freezing rain. As she walked she passed by an alley and saw a cat shivering like her. She moved towards the cat and knelt down to look at it closer. "You know this isn't good weather for either of us, now let's get you somewhere dry" she said as she scooped him up in her arms before heading back home.

  • Mika, no matter how much he wanted to, didn't struggle, knowing that this was probably the only way he would survive this storm. The heat from the girl caused him to snuggle a bit closer seeking more of the beautiful warmth. His ears perked at her voice and nodded his little head sightly in agreement, knowing she couldn't see it.

  • Lucy arrived at the apartment building she lived in after a few minutes and finally arrived in her apartment. "Welcome to your new home little guy" she said bending down and let him going on the ground to explore. She walked into the kitchen took for some food for the cat.

  • Mika looked at her with a slight glare when she put him down, missing the warmth from her body instantly. When she walked away, he shook to get the water out of his fur, the droplets splashed everywhere.

  • Lucy found a can of tuna and went back to where she left the cat after she had opened it. "I think you might like something to eat" she said placing the can in front of him hoping he would like it.
