Beryl sat down on the sand, his feet getting touched gently by the waves every once and a while. His legs were bent and his arms were wrapped around them, his head resting on his knees. The crystal gem felt free without the commotion of the others in the giant temple. The water turned a clear blue as the sun hit it. It was sunset, the bright beam of sunlight making the water less blue and more golden by the minute. Beryl loved seeing the ocean getting ready for the nighttime with its golden appearance. Nothing could be more beautiful at the moment.

Bloodstone sat on a ledge of his room, eyes closed. Silence filled it, not even scuffling noises could break it. The crystal gem's room was a giant cave-like structure, looking like it had infinite space. He was sitting cross-legged at the center, finally opening his dark red eyes and staring at the only colorful thing in his room: the door to access getting into their rooms and into the main temple room. It was a bright silver-and-golden color, gems placed at the edges and a bloodstone in the middle. Well, if you were in your room, you'd see your own gem in the middle. He sighed heavily and stood up, heading towards the door.

Jennifer rode on her bicycle, the wind whipping at her face and arms. She loved the feeling; happy and free. It felt as if nothing could stop her. Her hands gripped the sweaty handles of her bike tighter as she rode faster and faster, avoiding and dodging people and pets. The girl narrowed her eyes when the sun sunk, leaving stretching shadows all over the place. Something sounded behind her and she turned her head to see what was going on. Quite suddenly, she crashed into someone. (This could be you!)

Ametrine sat on the couch, boredly eating some pizza. Everything was dull at the moment, and slightly, she felt almost...dull. Standing up and putting her plate in the sink, she walked to the giant door leading them to each of their rooms.

((Sorry, Ametrine's post is tiny because my arms and hands are aching right now. ^-^))

  • Lapin walked out of his room and over to her"Hey will you come with me we must go to the s tore of games to retrieve a game for the personal computing device I found in the Steven's room" H emsiled holding a book in his hands the title being in French as the game he had found which mad ehim vhange sides was in French. He msiled sweetly and looked at her"I am bored to nothing has been happening lately ive read all my books cover to cover read all the liubrary has tto offer and then some the re is nothing left in this small town to ead, what shall I do now?" He smiled kindly trying to think of what to do his ear twivhing gently as he llooekd around trying to think. He finally came up with an idea and left taking his book wi th him towards the beach and sat on it smiling"Hello bareyl you are bored as well? it seems I have beat the game on the personal computing device an di need another one would you come with me to ge tit I am bored and do n ot wish to go alone

  • Hematite walked down the street in town, the hood of her jacket flipped up over her head, and her hands tucked into her pocket as she cast her head downwards as people passed by her here and there. It was something that she often did, just going into town and walking around, although nobody knew who or what she even was. And she didn't mind keeping it that way, as other interactions with humans in the past had been rather negative. As a beam of light from the setting sun reached her eye she turned to look at it, the colors dancing with the reds of her own eyes. She had always loved watching the sun set over the water, it was oddly calming. As she turned back to face down the road again, she noticed something coming towards her rather quickly. A bike, the rider of which seemed distracted by something behind her. If She hadn't been looking away before, Hematite would have moved out of the way, but before she even knew it, the force of the two wheeler struck her, knocking her back onto her (I hate using butt...) and tossing her hood off of her head leaving her looking rather shocked, but otherwise mostly unscathed save a few scratch marks on her legs.

Hematite acted quickly, sitting up and looking at the rider, Jennifer, who hit her. "Are you alright?" She asked, more concerned about the other girl than herself, mostly because she knew that she could take a hit or two, but less confident in the human's ability. The sun cast an orange light on Hematite's own face, and shone in her hair and eyes. A few people turned when they hear the bike crash to see what had happened, but none of them seemed to give it much thought once they saw that the people involved seemed to be alright for the most part, allowing them to return to what they were doing before. "Sorry, about that." Hematite said with her voice light, and soft, with a certain firmness to it that gave it substance. She was obviously still more worried about the rider than anything else right then.

  • The ocean roiled and glimmered in the sun, pounding endlessly against the battered shore. Beneath the turbelent surface, an alien world awaited, filled with color and life. Fish swam among the nooks of iridescent coral, sharks circled lazily in the blue abyss, and dolphins frolicked in the waves. Lapis Lazuli watched all of this, comfortably seated on an underwater rock. Bright fish swam around her head, and she giggled in her amusement. She glanced upwards, and suddenly, pushed by the currents, shot from the water and into the air, where wings of aqua flared from her gem. Now she flew, like an angel of the sea, towards the shore.

  • [fancypost bgcolor=transparent; bordercolor=transparent; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify; font-size: 9pt; font-family: arial; color: silver;] Finn sighed with relief as he finished the last order for the day. He took off his waiter's apron and hung it up on a rack before picking up his things. Once again, it was another kinda long day at work. There weren't many people in their small cafe, but it was more than they usually expected. It didn't matter to him, since he earned quite a lot in terms of tips. He stuffed the money in his pocket as he walked outside, considering heading home for the day. He wasn't too tired, thankfully, and he was sure his cat hadn't eaten all of the food he laid out for her. His eyes turned to the sky for a brief moment as he saw the sun start to set, which cast a nice shadow over the town. He preferred seeing how vibrantly the sky lit up with all its oranges, pinks, and yellows. Finn turned back forward and pulled out his phone, checking to see if he received any messages while he was at work.

Hackmanite had a frown on his face as he observed yet another human sunset. It definitely wasn't anything magnificent or awe-inspiring to him which made him wonder further about a human's idea of beauty. He had found, or rather stolen, a lounge chair and was laying down on it near the ocean in front of the temple, ignoring all the other gems as best as he could. He had a broken transmitter in his hands and had attempted to fix it earlier, but all his tries bore no fruit. After setting down the old device on the sand, he cast his eyes somewhat downwards and started letting his mind wander. There wasn't anything else he could be doing, after all.

  • Tanzanite looked up at the sky, watching Lapis. After a few moments he looked away and turned his attention back to the sidewalk, struggling to take a step. What are you doing? Everen hissed.
I'm moving the left foot, Fragment replied. No, wait. The right one. I think? Which one's which again?
Tanzanite groaned when Everen groaned, but the rest of the conversation could only be heard between the two of them.
Why are we even doing this still? I thought it was better not to fuse?
We have to practice, Everen answered absently. Tanzanite bit his tongue as his concentration intensified, but ended up tripping over his own feet and turning back into two people.

  • Bored with the lak of a response Lapin isntaly left but stopped when he saw lapis"Why hello there lapis darling how goes it"

  • He was starting to grow bored and the boredom was getting to be rather ann oying he hated it and sighed looking around for something to do or someone to talk to , As he looked around he got an idea and smiled making a beanstalk appear out of the sand and sat on it watching asit began to lift him off of the ground smiling he watched the city from high atop his beanstalk perch suddenly owver he fell off and instnaly used his skills to make a goose carry him down to safety the beanstalk crashing intot he waves as he made it disappear he smiled kindly and pet the goos ebeofre it to went away.

  • Tanzanite, fused again, was walking very, very slowly to nowhere in particular. Suddenly, a loud crash interrupted his thoughts and caused him to stumble. He searched for the source of the noise and found a giant beanstalk floating in the ocean, at least until it suddenly disappeared. "Please, reveal our existence further," he muttered under his breath.

  • Lapis flew to the shore, where in a whirl of scattered water droplets, her wings were retracted into her gem. She sighed in her pleasure, the sea breezes kissing her face. Nothing could be better than this huge expanse of water. After all, she was the ocean gem.

He walked over to him"Hello would you car eto vome with me ot to find a game for the personal computing device I found in the stevens room I must get the new one there is another " He had a book in his hand one that contained fairytales and then there was sanother in his hand which had the actual la pin malin or rather reader rabbit on the cover the thing he got how he looked from what has cuased his switch of sidesi AM BORED"

  • Amathyst I'm sorry but your post is too hard to read for me. Something about a book and games and your character being bored?

  • Jennifer was sprawled on the concrete, her bike laying lopsided from the harsh blow. "Uhh...I guess," she tried her arms and legs to see if they would work, then stood up, staring at Hematite. "No, I am sorry. I should've been looking." She brushed off her t-shirt, sighing when the pain ceased. The girl brushed away her long hair away from her eyes as she turns to her broken bike and holding it up. "Darn it," Jenny muttered, seeing the bike's dented wheel. "I just got this..." She sighed again, smiling gently at Hematite. "Thanks, though, Hematite. Not many treat me like this."

Beryl heard a loud crash and abruptly stood up, turning around. Jennifer and Hematite fell, a red bike hitting a boulder jutting out of the earth. He ran quickly, jumping onto the stairs and stepping up onto the concrete. Seeing both girls fine, he relaxed a little. "You two okay?" the crystal gem asked when he got there, adjusting his strangled hair. Despite Jennifer more hurt, he was more worried about Hematite. He had a crush on her ever since (remember the other thread?), and suddenly became more protective of her. "Jennifer, anything broken? Hematite, any fatal injuries?"

  • yes hes bored wants to go get another computer game and has two books in his hands one is a book of fairytales the other a reader rabbit book

  • OOC, YES! omg, I was wondering if you were going to cross that over.

Hematite stood up and dusted herself off, briefly checking over herself to make sure she hadn't overlooked anything too obvious. If she did she had no doubt she'd be hearing about if for the next couple days, which was something that if she could avoid she would. Hematite turned to look at Jenny and her dented wheel, which obviously wasn't going to get her moving anytime soon. "No problem, do you want a hand?" She asked, trying to asses the damage that she had done to the bike by essentially being an iron wall that she hit. From what she could tell it looked like not a big deal, and wouldn't be too hard to fix, provided enough time and the proper tools.

Just then Hematite heard another voice, Beryl. She could recognize his voice anywhere. "We're fine, the bike could be better though." She said, turning to face the other Gem as she spoke and pointing with her thumb to the moderately banged up vehicle, now being held by Jenny. Hematite gave a slight smile to prove that she was alright. "You worry to much, Beryl." She said, appreciating the concern, even if asking about any fatal injuries when referring to a small bike crash was a little bit much in her opinion, at least he cared.

  • OOc. We've basically just started, you can just start with anything you want, or you can interact with someone who needs a partner, I think Hackmantite and Finn, as well as Lapis are available.

There's the Hackmanite/Finn post, if you want.
