Pit is peppy, and like many Nintendo protagonists, Pit is fearless and heroic but also is more chipper among the others. He faces many dangers and threats with little hesitation. For example, in Chapter 21 of Kid Icarus: Uprising, Pit sacrifices his life to save Dark Pit after the Chaos Kin attacks him. He orders Viridi to activate the Power of Flight. When she does, Pit's wings burn up as a result of using the power too many times too recently, and he ends up unconscious. Pit has no problem fighting against monsters many times his size and is always ready to help the humans when they are in need. The angel has a notable humorous side and enjoys cracking jokes and bantering with Palutena. Pit is also very confident, which makes him bit of a show-off at times. He can, however, become a little reckless due to his gung-ho and naive personality, which causes him to get into trouble at times. Nonetheless, Pit is a good-hearted and friendly character. He is described by Viridi as "insufferably upbeat" and by Dark Pit as "unbearably cheerful." He is also moderately gullible at times when the gods are joking.

His trust in Palutena is absolute, but he is shown to be somewhat nervous on his own, such as during the ascent of the Lightning Tower. Without Palutena to back him up, he steadily becomes quieter and quieter. The words Palutena spoke to him while possessed (to the effect of "I don't need you anymore," "We're no longer friends," etc.) will probably haunt him forever. While in Hades' body, Pit also tries to replicate Palutena's helpful dialogue as she can't contact him. He becomes very self-conscious doing this, but it helps to reassure him.

Pit doesn't seem to be fond of high speeds. This is shown many times in Kid Icarus: Uprising, especially during some of his interactions with Viridi.

Outside of the game, Pit complains when dinner is vegetables. Burgers, pies, cakes, etc. suit his taste more, yet he'll eat anything, regardless of whether or not he's hungry. Pit seems to have more character and background than any other Nintendo character, making him unique compared to the other characters from Nintendo.

He also hinted he owns a computer of some sort, as he asked Pyrrhon for a link to Divinipedia.

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, during one of Palutena's Guidance conversations, Pit believed that Palutena possessed an application that served as an "Archvillian Database" and was surprised about it, although Palutena did not give a definite confirmation of owning one, as she insisted on remaining secretive about a goddess's lifestyle. However, in the Japanese version of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, during the same Palutena's Guidance conversation, Palutena denied actually having such a database, effectively playing a straightforward joke on Pit. Pit is shown to be very gullible in regards to Palutena's jokes, as Palutena succeeds in tricking him in multiple occurrences.

Lightning is the strong, determined, concentrated and independent type. She originally starts off as cold, standoffish even, and distances herself from other people, even her own companions. She looks out for herself only, not caring if other people are left behind or hurt, really. Her motivation is fuelled by her protecting of her sister, Serah, and lashes out, easily, at those she deems responsible: the Sanctum, it's fal'Cie, and Snow Villiers - which is mainly because of his relationship with her sister and his 'failure' to protect her like he promised. During the game, Lightning moves with Hope Estheim and takes him as an apprentice, of shorts, through their time together, Lightning shows compassion and begins to trust others and sees how wrongfully she was. Later on, she becomes the leader and a protector.
In Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning could be described as an utterly different person because of previous her experiences and emotions. She learned to trust others and even ask them for help, and she has even learned to express her emotions rather than bottle them up. Her recognition of her "sins" has made her more somber, as well as her time in Valhalla.
In Lightning Returns, Lightning is cold and distant, almost all of her emotions drained from her, although her memories remain. Her desire to save her sister and concern for her former allies remain, however. Lightning and Hope display trust and care for one another and Hope promises to be by Lightning's side, as well as to help her keep her humanity throughout their situation. Although she made a deal with a god, Bhunivelze, she loathes him for robbing her of her emotions and using her situation and desires to his advantage.
As the story goes on, Lightning begins to tap into her emotions more, especially compassion towards other people because of her quest to save the peoples lives. By the end, Lightning has drawn away from her emotionless warrior persona as Serah and Lumina, including her experiences throughout the quest, help Lightning realize that locking her heart away is how she threw away her happiness.

Appearance ;
Lightning has a young, pale complexsion with wavy, light rose colored hair and pale caribbean blue optics. She is rather tall and has a thin frame, though she also packs on some muscle.

“In Final Fantasy XIII, she wears a variation of the standard Guardian Corps uniform [ click ]. The green metallic pauldron over her left shoulder bearing yellow stripes denotes her previous rank as a sergeant. She carries her gunblade in a black case which hangs off her belt, and wears a necklace with a lightning bolt pendant. Her l'Cie brand [ click ] is located slightly above her left breast. She has a navel piercing, although it can be difficult to spot.

In Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning wears a silver and gold Valkyrie-like suit of armor [ click ] with a shield on her left arm (though in her CG render it appears on the right arm). She has a new gunblade more closely resembling a traditional doubled-edged sword, which has Etro script on it. She no longer has the navel piercing she did in Final Fantasy XIII.

During Lightning Returns, Lightning has a number of different costumes. Her default outfit, Equilibrium [ click ], is similar to what she wore in Final Fantasy XIII-2. The Night Lotus shield on her left arm and the Crimson Blitz sword in her right hand, similar to Noel's Flame Fossil dual swords, are in homage to her Eidolon Odin. [ click ]”

Personality ;
Katherine McBride has a by-the-book Type A personality. She is dominant, responsible, goal-oriented, and puts her career above almost everything else. When Vincent admits to working severe overtime with no extra pay, she chides him for being taken advantage of and not taking a stand for himself. She proves that if someone can't be trusted to do something right, she will take care of it for them. The clearest example of this is when she takes full control of their finances after Vincent consistently spends all his money on new computers, cell phones, alcohol and cigarettes.

Katherine is always straight-forward, and doesn't appreciate between-the-lines insinuations or passive-aggressive accusations, both of which Vincent is guilty of. Even though her fidelity was called into question with Steve Delhomme, she has only made one lie (of omission) in the entire game: not telling Vincent immediately when she knew she wasn't pregnant.

While clues have been left that Katherine might have been lying about the pregnancy as a test for Vincent to pass, her reaction during the break up with him paints a clearer picture. She not only tells him that the knowledge of the pregnancy actually scared her, but admits to him she knew about the news earlier, but didn't tell him because she feared he would leave her.

The only things in the game shown to rattle her are when she murders Catherine (though it happens in a dream), and when she is effectively dealing with the possibility of being pregnant completely alone, as Vincent is off in his own world.

Katherine is not shown to be the affectionate type. The only time she kisses Vincent or tells him she loves him is during the Katherine True Ending. Most times she leaves him with a simple "Goodbye." Whether this is a result of their recent relationship troubles or because of her natural personality is not explained in the game.

Appearance (descriptive. optional) ;
Katherine McBride is a female with a B blood type, and is a lengthy woman in height. She is a lady who owns a slim body type. Her body is also nicely endowed. Her skin complexion is quite fair and pale: known as porcelain. She has very beautiful facial features. Not only does she have a rounded face in which many desire, but she has a slim nose and somewhat almond-shaped eyes as well. Her lips have a narrow shape, but are however plump. Rimming her chestnut optics nicely are slim, rectangular glasses. Not only are her legs quite long and lengthy, but her torso and arms are quite long as well.

Katherine has fallow tinted hair that rests at her lower back and the start of her buttocks, and her hair is straight. Despite it being straight, her hair goes wavy at the tips and the two tendrils that are on her breasts are wavy as well.

History (optional) ;
Katherine attended elementary school with Vincent and Orlando. Their friendship was initially antagonistic, as the boys would often steal and eat her lunch. Though it upset her, she began giving Vincent her snacks, indicating that she had a crush on him.

They met again during their 10-year high school reunion. Afterwards when she was depressed, Vincent ran to her side in the middle of the night and comforted her. He found out that she was having dating problems and started to give her advice, but ended up falling for her himself. While seemingly romantic, Erica theorizes that Katherine only started dating him because her maternal instincts and dominant personality wouldn't allow her to leave a slacker like Vincent alone.

The two have been in a steady relationship for the past 5 years, though Vincent isn't interested in taking it to the next level, and Katherine's parents have started to pressure her to marry.

In the game, she gets married, but since Vincent (her husband) isn't here. No one. But she'll probably show a little affection for Robin despite him being married. Maybe to cause some ic drama. c:
