Bermuda stalked silently through the grass, stalking a small water vole to the edge of the river before leaping and landing squarely on the little creature's back. After quickly killing and burying it, he moved to the other side of the river, past the bordermarks, where the river was shallower and easier to catch fish from. He completely, and quite foolishly, let his guard down as he focused on the turbulent waters for signs of fish.

Frostpool was swimming in the river near by.
-
Bermuda looked over and saw a she-cat swimming in the river nearby. He dove for a clump of grasses and crouched down low, hoping she hadn't seen him. The grass made a soft, healthy crunching sound under his feet as he shifted his weight from paw to paw over top of the broken stems.
-
Frostpool , swam to the bank of the river and climbed out. She shook her pelt dry and water droplets sprayed , all over the place
-
Bermuda shook his head as the water droplets hit him. The shaking of his head ended up shaking the grass which he was hiding in. He quickly stopped shaking and looked over to the white she-cat, hoping she didn't see anything.
-
'' Who is thier?'' she asked camly
-
Bermuda crouched lower, maybe if he didn't respond, she would leave it alone.
-
'' Who is their ?'' she called omce again
-
The silvery Tom sighed and stood up, "Me, Bermuda," He introduced himself rather awkwardly, blushing deeply under his light blueish fur.
-
'' I am ,Frostpool'' she meowed
-
"Greetings, Frostpool." What a lovely name... he thought to himself. "Where's t-the rest of your p-patrol?" he stammered. His mysterious green eyes looked over the newcomer. Her vibrant blue eyes, her tufted ears, her sleek fur, her feathered tail. She must take really good care of her pelt... He noted. Having short fur like he had, he never really had to spend too much time with it.
-
'' I don't have a patrol, I was just swimming'' she purred, waving her tail in the air. Frostpool sat down and meowed ,'' Where are you from ?'' she asked. Her gaze sweeped the tom , from head to toe. He is very handsome and well mannered, she thought, smiling. Frostpool quickly groomed her wet fur and straightened her long whiskers. Her long fur was starting to dry in the warm sunlight. The sunlight dappled her white pelt.
-
Bermuda smiled, "Where I am from is normally irrelevant to a clan cat like you. Most of your kind chase me out, why not you?" He asked her, his eyes glinting in the afternoon sun. He sat down and curled his tail neatly around his paws.
-
'' I'd rather not say'' she meowed, her fur feeling hot.
( I might fall asleep soon)
-
Bermuda smiled encouragingly, "It's just me and you, who else is here to hear? Come on, you can tell me." He then dropped the smile and said sincerely, "I promise I won't tell anyone." He looked deep into her eyes, his own eyes taking the look of a baby puppy begging to get a treat. "Please tell me?"
