Brindlecloud padded casually out of camp, telling the others that she was going to find herbs. She reached her favourite little clearing and began to look for the plants she needed. First, she found a patch of poppies. She searched for the right one, then shook it free of seeds. The little black pellets fell from the dried flower and onto a large dock leaf that she would use to carry the herbs back to camp. She twitched her ear as she heard a sound. "Who- who's there?" She called shakily into the forest.

Thunderfur pushed himself against the ground. mouse-brained fool! he thought to himself i should have known that stick was there! he remained hidden.
-
The spotted she-cat watched the place where she heard the sound come from. She thought she could see a faint outline of a golden pelt through the bushes. She carefully padded up and found the source of the noise. A golden tom crouched in the bush in front of her. "Who are you? Where are you from, more importantly," She said in a nervous voice.
-
Thunderfur stood up. "i am Thunderfur of riverclan." he said "who are you?". he asked. His amber eyes gleamed in the sun light.
-
"Well, Thunderfur... I am Brindlecloud, from SpiralClan. What brings you here?" She said, more cautiously than friendly. Her paws kneaded the ground, ready to bound away if an attack was launched. She had never been a good fighter.
-
"That is for me to know." Thunderfur digging his claws into the ground. He didnt want to fight, but if he had to he would. He also didnt want this stranger knowing why he cme here.
-
She shrugged, "Suit yourself," She couldn't exactly chase him off the territory, since it's not actually her Clan's territory. She looked down at her paws, thinking of what to say next.
-
Thunderfur looked around ''Is this your clan territory'' he asked
-
"No, it's just a little ways outside" She explained, her leafy green eyes searching him for any signs of calling on or launching an attack.
-
''then why are you out here'' he asked looking at her, his amber eyes gleaming with intrest
-
"I use the herbs in this clearing for my clan..." She explained, seeing the interest in his amber eyes. She looked up from her paws to meet his gaze, "This isn't Clan territory, is it?"
-
Thunderfur shook his head. ''not that i know of.'' he said
-
Brindlecloud looked confused, "Aren't warriors supposed to stay in their territory? Won't your clan need you for something?" She asked him.
-
Thunderfur shrugged ''Shouldnt medicine cats be with their clan? What if someone got hurt?" he chuckled
-
She chuckled back, "I think they can manage without me for a few minutes," She said, smiling. "And plus, I have a known reason to leave... Most clans will question a warrior leaving on his own," She stated rather generally, but referred vaguely to the golden tom standing in front of her.
-
Thunderfur smilled ''i am allowed to explore arent i?'' he laughed
-
"Outside your territory, all by yourself? What are you really doing here, surely you're not just exploring..." She questionned him slyly. A mischievous glint in her eyes.
-
''maybe I am hunting?'' he suggested. a crooked smile flashed across his face.
-
"So your territory has no prey? Your grin is telling me otherwise..." She put on a goofy smile herself, her leafy-colored eyes looking deep into his amber ones.
-
''maybe im Searching for herbs?'' he suggested again
