Antoinette slowly opened her eyes as sunlight filtered through her tent. She had slept well, unlike most other nights where she had trouble sleeping and ended up taking a walk around the circus. The Circus of Freaks was quiet in the mornings, and she wasn't quite used to it yet. She longs for the performances, the crowds, everything! She began her daily routine of stretching as the thought of upcoming performances filled her mind. "Oh I just cannot wait for the next performance!" she said in a quiet tone, so she would not awaken anyone in other tents who would be sleeping.

The post was edited 1 time, last by 웃 Antoinette 웃 ().

  • Alice had awoken rather early as well, and after tending to her wings, was out of her tent and circling the area above. Glancing down, she could see Antoinette stretching in her usual routine; she seemed to be the only other person who was awake. Grinning, she shot back into her own tent, before reemerging with a few water balloons cradled in her arms; she'd made them last night, intending to play a few pranks on the others... What better time than now? Gliding overhead, she let them drop, watching the colorful water-filled balloons plummet towards Antoinette with an amuse smirk.

  • Chance never could sleep. He had a disorder which had developed after he had the accident, which never allowed him to sleep. This did not effect his health but he did not like it. The sun was appearing over the tents. He could tell by its rays that it would be a warm day. There was also a slight morning breeze that swept through. He felt it and thought of what to do with his next performance. He was getting quite tired of the same routine.

  • Isabelle woke up to the sunlight in her eyes. She got up and looked in her little mirror she had in her tent. Isabelle always had to fix her hair so that it wasn't all over the place. She then walked out of the tent and looked up to see Alice dropping a water ballons onto Antoinette. "Well great way to start out a day." She said to herself.

Mary didn't exactly wake up. She hadn't slept all night because of her practicing her knife throwing. Although she still wasn't tired. Mary never was. She emerged out of her tent just in time to see water ballons being dropped from the sky. "Who is Alice dropping them on?" Mary said aloud and went to go see who.

  • As the first balloon landed near Antoinette, she looked up at the many more balloons that were plummeting towards her. Before she could do anything, the balloons had made contact with her and had busted. She was covered in water from head to toe. "Alice..." she growled looking up at her. "Is that really necessary!" she yelled to her, not caring how loud she was. She walked back into her tent to go and dry off. Changing into something else, she squeezed her hair out and put it into a braid. Since her performance hairstyle was twintails, she liked to change it up for casual times.

  • Chance was, not surprisingly, unamused. He was board and dcided to go on a walk, maybe find sometging fun to do, for nothing fun was happening here. So he hopped down from his perch and began to walk towards a trail which started on the outskirts of the tents. He had only noticed it the day before and had not had the chance to explore it so now was a better chance to then ever.

  • Alice came to a soft landing, wings fanned outwards triumphantly as she watched Antoinette march back into her tent to change. The second the girl was gone she burst out into a fit of laughter, tucking her wings securely against her back. "Yes. Yes it was." She managed between gasps for air. "Your face was priceless!" Seeing Chance move to walk away, she tilted her head a bit in curiosity, before moving to follow. "Watcha doing, Chance?"

  • Walking back out from her tent, Antoinette gave her a death stare. "It would be wise not to do that to me," she said, walking towards the entrance of the circus to go see how much was set up in the time that she was asleep. She looked at all of the different booths that would soon be filled with toys for children to win. Looking over at the fenced areas she imagined camels and elephants for younger children to ride. "Ah, the sights of seeing everyone enjoy themselves." she said, closing her eyes and smiling.

  • Isabelle watched as the ballons dropped on Antoniette and she screamed soon after. She saw Alice come down and go towards Chance. "She's up to her old tricks huh?" Isabelle said and started towards the cages of animals.

Mary heard a scream and picked up the pace to go see who the ballons were dropped on. She saw that it was Antoniette and laughed a little. Mary saw as Alice came down and land on the ground. She then realized that the circus had been set up while all the people were sleeping. "Oh my god I totally forgot about that!" Mary said and went to go check out the circus.

  • Chance walked through the trail. It was very basic. A few thorn bushes here and there and a small stream but chance enjoyed it. He thought it was quite peaceful unlike everything else. Was he feeling happy once again? No he decided it was just curiosity of the new atmosphere of peace. He found a nice dry spot under a tree in which he sat. The stream trickled down small slopes and made very little noise. He heard a few burds chirping and he thiught he saw a flash if fur in the undergrowth. "Is this what it feels like to relax?" He wondered.

  • Alice grinned, offering a thumbs up at Mary's praise. "Oh, there's more to come, believe me." She replied with a playful wink, before continuing to follow after Chance. Soon, she found herself sitting alongside the Pheonix, a few feet away. The Dove's bright blue gaze fell to her pale hands nervously before travelling to the the stream, her focus fixated on the relaxing babble of the water. "Hmm, it is relaxing, isn't it?" She murmured softly, giving a content sigh before unfurling one wing to carefully examine the soft, pristine feathers. "Anyways, how are you adjusting? Everything alright?"

  • "Well I have been hre for quite some time so i'm doing good and I don't really know if this is relaxing," Phoenix said putting a hand in the stream then retracting it immediately as if it burned. He didn't flinch though. He focused on where he saw the moon going down and the sun coming up. It used to fascinate him a lot but then he read about it and he became less interested. "Well you did a good job with the ballon thing," he said calmly not showing much emotion.

  • Antoinette wandered back towards the tents where she and the other performers slept. Keeping her eyes on the lookout for Alice, she went back inside her tent. There may not be much to do, but, there is time to practice tightrope walking. Putting her practice slippers on, she made her way back out of her tent and into the big top tent, where a performance would take place in a few days. "Practice makes perfect!" she said with an excited tone. Her crimson eyes shone with excitement as she began climbing the ladder to her perch.

  • Alice merely smiled. "Thanks! There's gotta be some fun around here!" She replied, folding the wing she'd been examining before unfolding her other one, the jagged scar near her shoulder becoming visible as she smoothed down the feathers. "I'm glad you're adjusting, it took me a while before I even showed anyone ere my wings..."

  • "Thanks, and by the way your wings look rather beautiful," he said trying to give a slight smile which failed, "well lets go find sometging more fun than just sitting here." Phoenix extended his hand to help her up. He had never done this before but instinct told him to do so. It was quite odd but it made him feel, happy? Maybe, but still he wonders if maybe he has made his first friend.

  • Dove grinned, taking his hand gratefully and pulling herself up. A light blush dusted her cheeks at the compliment, and she pulled her wings tighter against her back shyly. "Thanks!" She nodded eagerly at his suggestion, blue gaze alighting with their usual mischievous light. "Yeah, let's go."

  • Isabelle walked up to the cages and looked into them. All of the animals were still sleeping. She looked for the lions cage and found it. They were all laying together in the place where the sun was the brightest. "Well then hope you all are up for training today." She said to them and went to go see where she could practices

Mary walked through what was set up if the Circus. "Oh I just can't wait until we perform." She said as she looked at what the booths were selling. "Well maybe I need to practice some more." Mary said as she went to find the targets she practiced with.

  • Phoenix led her through the trees. He then realized he was staring to feel happy again. All because of her. This put a spring in his step and made him excited. He now wanted to talk again, his life was changing again and he was anxious to see how it went. As he walked he found a lilac flower he thought looked quite beautiful which he gave to Dove.
