    Ic: He walked through he forest he lifted his head trying to see which way the heard of elk were headed. He grinned he knew what Aurora was doing , but he wanted to bring something back for her. He followed the scent until he caught sight of the elk grazing. He waited in the bushes his eyes landed on a female deer that was further away from the herd. He waited until they moved a bit further away then snuck around getting closer to it. He licked his chops then lunged at the elk. He suck his teeth into its neck and waited until it went limp. The other elk had ran off due to his presence he smiled proud of his catch. He began to drag the elk back to camp.

    Aurora looked towards the camp entrance to see Canaan dragging an elk in after him. "You caught that by yourself?" She said, unbelieving.

    He dragged it into the den. He puffed out his chest and stood up tall. "Why yes... Yes I did.. Don't let it go to waist my love... Besides we have some business go get down to."

    Aurora rolled her eyes at him then began to eat the elk. She still couldn't believe he actually caught an elk this big by himself.

    He sat down then yawned and began to groom his fur. He was proud of his catch one he finished he looked at Aurora "So about the pups.."

    Aurora sat back before she was to full and said "What about them?" She looked at how much elk was left and thought that this would feed the pack for awhile.

    He blushed then looked down at his paws. He began to mess around with the dirt that covered the den. "N-nothing... Never mind.."

    Aurora laughed at him and said "I was kidding. You can tell me you want to try, you know. It's not like I'm going to laugh at you, I want to try too." She said. She brushed her tail under his chin as a gesture to follow, before she headed into the den. She looked back at him to see if he was following.

    "In the den for privacy." She quietly laughed at him again.


    (Let's skip to afterwards. :-X This is getting a little weird...)

    (Thanks. lol. I'm just going to skip a little further ahead to where Aurora realizes she's pregnant, if that's ok. If it's not I'll change it.)


    Aurora laid in the den beside a sleeping Canaan a few days later. She couldn't sleep so she decided to go for a walk. She carefully stood up so she didn't wake him and then walked outside the camp. She ended up at the river. She looked in at her reflection and noticed her belly was getting bigger. "It couldn't be... I did get sick yesterday morning..." She thought.

    (Yeah it's fine don't worry about it. I appreciate you bringing it to my attention instead of just doing it.)


    Canaan woke up feeling cold he shivered and tried to snuggle closer to Aurora. He jumped up realizing she wasn't there he growled Where could she have gone now... he thought.

    Aurora looked up noticing that the sun was starting to rise. "Guess I should head back, Canaan will start to worry if I'm not there when he wakes up." She walked back to camp and when she went in she saw him coming out of their den looking worried. "Don't worry, I'm still alive. I couldn't sleep so I went for a walk." She said when she reached him.

    He glared at her "Your no Longer allowed to leave in the middle of the night... Unless you an escort and if you don't then keep your behind in that den." He said as he walked towards her "Now tell me how are you feeling?"

    She laughed at his reaction and said "If you protect me this much, it makes me wonder what you'll do when you have pups to protect." She said giving him a look that answered his obvious question.

    "Well obviously I'm going to be a great fath-" his eyes grew wide. "A-are you... When did you? How long did you know?!" He shouted as his tail began to wag.

    "I just realized when I went out for that walk." Aurora said. She felt as proud as he looked. "Not so mad at me now, are you?" She said with a laugh. She saw some pups chasing each other by the nursery. "Soon that will be our pups." She said with a smile.

    He sighed then sat down "I'm going to be a father... Me ? The alpha of the pack a father..." He mumbled to himself he watched the pups chase after each other. "I can't wait till their like that." He sighed.

    "I'm still getting used to it too." Aurora said as she sat down beside him. "Does this make me your Alpha Female?" She asked, partially kidding.
