"Thank you!" Verdigo replied happily. "I'll go catch something for myself." she added as she turned and padded towards the thick ferns and tall trees.

Fernstar flicked her tail and turned to her den. She walked in silently and layed down.

"Yeah, I'm ok." Oceanheart said.

Verdigo scented the air and listened carefully, quickly locating a mouse. She crouched down and launched herself at it as it stopped; she scowled when she heard it scurry away and located a small bird. She froze as she moved a fern and launched herself at the bird when it didn't move. Her claws caught it's wings and she bit into it's neck before she carried it back.
