The kit heard pawsteps getting quieter as the cats walked away and followed, hoping she wouldn't get lost again. She sat down when she heard them talk again and flicked her ears to try and locate them. "Hello? Is someone there?" she mewed cautiously when the voices stopped. Maybe I was imagining them... she thought.

"huh? Is someone else hear?" Oceanheart said. She looked around.

The kit stepped closer when she heard Oceanheart's voice. "I'm here." she mewed when she stopped as the quiet breathing of cats could be heard by her sensitive ears. Three others. Right next to me. she figured out as she sat and waited for a voice to speak up.

"Whats your name, sweetie?" Oceanheart asked the kit.

The kit turned her head towards Oceanheart before she realized she had asked a question. "I'm Verdigo."

"Hello, Verdigo, I'm Oceanheart." she said, interducing herself.

Tawnyheart sat next to Verdigo."You OK,sweety?"

"Why do you ask?" Verdigo asked as she turned to look at Tawnyheart.

Tawnyheart looked at the kit."Just wondering."

"Who are you?" Verdigo asked when Tawnyheart didn't offer it.

"Tawnyheart,"she replied.

"You win. I'm blind." Verdigo sighed. "There is one more cat here, right?" she added quickly.

"Of course."

"Of course, what?"

"There's another cat here!"

"I knew I heard three cat's breathing..." Verdigo muttered. "She's leader, right?" she guessed.
