Skyfern looked up at the clouds as they floated casually across the sky. She wondered if she would finally make some friends now that she was a Warrior. She didnt know why cats avoided her, she was nice enough, she thought. The farthest corner of the camp was beginning to get lonely and she wished for companionship.
A new Warrior.

Shadewind exited the warrior's den and looked around the camp. Spotting someone by themselves at the edge of camp he went over to see what they were doing.
-
As Skyfern sat, in thought, she noticed some cat walking her way.'I wonder who that is?' she thought to herself.
-
"Hey, why you sitting way over here by yourself?" Shadewind asked.
-
Skyfern looked at her paws. "I dont have any friends and so I sit over here out of everyones way." She replied.
-
The black warrior's ears flicked. "You're not going to have much luck just sitting here," he mewed. "I'm Shadewind. You are?"
-
"Im Skyfern, its nice to meet you Shadewind." She mewed happily
-
"Likewise," replied the warrior. He took a seat and neatly wrapped his tail over his paws.
-
Skyfern licked her one grey paw then looked up at Shadewind. "How long have you been a warrior.?" she asked
-
Shadewind thought for a moment. "About twenty four moons," he mewed. "What about you?"
-
"Just a few days actually." Skyfern mewed in reply.
-
Shadewind's ears flicked. He remembered Halfkit calling him old when Skyfern said she was just a few days old. "I see. How's it feel to be a warrior?" He asked.
-
Skyfern looked to the sky, thinking. "It feel good to be a part of something bigger than myself. It feels good to have a purpose." She mewed.
-
Shadewind merely nodded. He understood the feeling. That feeling that you were moving up in the world. Having more freedom. It was all worth it. Being a warrior was great.
-
"So what brings you to my little corner of the camp? Most cats dont notice me." Skyfern asked.
-
"I happened to notice you," he mewed. "And thought you looked kind of lonely so I came to see what was up," he mewed. It was true. Most of the time you'd see everyone sharing tongues and prey, but here he'd found Skyfern by herself. "Why are you not often noticed?" He asked. He saw nothing wrong with her.
-
Skyfern looked at her paws. "Im small for a cat, others often misteak me for a kitten, I dont get much repect because of my size, I had hoped to get a little when I became a warrior but everycat still looks over me like im not here." She mewed.
-
Shadewind looked at the she-cat as she spoke. Shadewind replied with, "Size shouldn't matter. It's about how you serve your clan." The warrior gave a slight nod. "Don't worry too much, you'll get noticed."
-
Skyfern looked a bit more cheerful after speaking with Shadewind. "Thank you Shadewind, you would be a great friend to any cat" She mewed with a shy lick of her paw.
-
The warrior didn't know about all that, but he wouldn't object to it either. "No problem," he mewed. "And thank you for the comment."
