  • Leah shook her head "I just remember the pain I don't know anything else"She shrugged listening to him talk about ghouls "They have been around so long I would expect it. I mean I'm probably not the only human who thinks the way I do about ghouls. Maybe there are even relationships between humans and ghouls"she spoke nit really understanding it thinking she just babbled

  • "I doubt there are any offspring involved. It would never work. Of course I'm a skeptic, I know several ghouls that are friends with humans. Nothing deeper than that." Tanner started rambling and turned away. "Systems are too different for things to work. Ours more sensitive than yours. Ghouls are ised to digesting human dna, So their systems probably would kill it off."

  • "I'll be leaving then someone disrupted my nap earlier." He said standing up. "Thanks for the coffee though." He said leaning back until his back popped. He handed Leah the coffee cup. "Really, thanks."

  • He stepped outside and didn't turn around "same for you, if you want to talk, you know where to find me. I'll try to listen."

  • He began the treck home. He followed the dimly lit streets listening to the people who were staying out late. He finally got home and snaked through the window up to the room and settled back in a dark corner.

  • Leah got to the libary just in time to start her shift. She sighed it was a boring job but it was quiet there was only one guy sitting down reading a biology book he smiled at her and she saw it was Alfie.
"What are you doing here?"Leah hissed hoping that this wouldn't end up in a fight
Alfie smirked "Hey baby come sit down we need to talk" he pulled her down on the seat beside him

  • He gave up trying to sleep and sighed sitting up. He ran a hand through his hair and sighed might as well make a coffee run. He felt through his pocket finding money and rubbed his eyes sluggishly made his way outside.

  • "talk?"she was confused what was he talking about apart from trying to kill her.
Alfie roughly grabbed her arm and took off the bandage observing it "A wound like this should of killed you off, it's a good thing I saved you"he smirked "you been feeling any sickness or weird food tastes?"he smirked
Leah was shocked but pulled her arm away from him "I don't understand "she breathed

  • Tanner ordered his coffee and threw the bills up on the counter. "Keep the change." He had a gut feeling. He snifed the air and tried not to glance over his shoulder. He took a long sip and kept walking. He enter the flow of the people on the street heading towards town.

  • Alfie just smiled Part of my ghoulism is in you and it's multipling it will eradicate your human genes till your all ghoul. It will take a while maybe a month"He said quietly as someone walked in.
Leah glared at him "Why? Why the he'll did you have to do this!"she stood up glaring at him for an answer
    "Spoilers"he grinned darkly before leaving

  • He sniffed the air, even though the scent of humans was over whelming. "Now what are you doing?" He whispered seeing a familiar face exit a building. He sunk back behind a large group of people. He took a drink of coffee casually walking keeping his head down while listening.

  • Alfie didn't see Tanner he went straight into the dark alleyways
Leah was scared and didn't know what to do she decided to just leave work early and figure something out
She put the book and put it back on the shelf

  • Tanner took a sip of coffee and sighed as he sat the cup down "you owe me." He commented climbing up the roof. He followed Alfie silently leaping between buildings.
