Leah was walking home trying to stay from going into dark cut off places but she didn't want to be in public areas either, she wasn't very social but people weren't to be trusted when there were ghouls on the loose. It's not like it was their fault, maybe instead of killing them they should try to help them. But Leah knew that her thoughts would never be understood she kept them to herself.
She turned the corner holding her bag strap close to her she nervously walked through an alleyway
I can't help it but I'm in love with a ghoul (Boy needed Pafp)

Tanner poked his head from the corner of the building. He wasn't the typical kind of ghoul, he never did the killing. He was just had a fascination with death. Sometimes it was cruel. Sometimes it wasn't. A thief fascinated by death. Once a street thief, always a street theif. He folded his arms and took a step down the dark alley. Humans, always on the stupid side. His eyes rolled. I let out a low whistle alerting my presence.
-
Leah was taken by surprise and instantly felt dread. She should of just walked the main roads in the bright street lights but now she had been stupid and was at risk of losing her life. She took a few steps back looking at tanner he didn't seem like a ghoul, but then there human form was convincing. "Uh...Who are you?"she stammered
-
"Not a problem." Was all Tanner said half trying not to roll his eyes. "You're a little ways from the main road aren't you?" His dark eyes drifted to the bag beside her, an equally dark smile crossed his face. "But if you don't mind, I can lead you back." He took a couple more steps and laced his fingers around the bag. "Follow me."
-
Leah wanted to scream but knew it would do no good in the situation she instead let herself get dragged by him slightly trembling "Where are you taking me?"she asked timidly trying not to show her fear to him yet he probably knew
-
He hid his face and turned away. He pulled her by the bag strap and slid his other hand in the bag. "Just back to the populated area." He chuckled playing off the situation. Jewelry, a wallet, something valuable at least? He let out a low growl and a puff of air. His hand gripped the wallet and slid that hand by his side. "You can trust me dear." He said blowing a cold pull of air on her neck.
-
Leah narrowed her eyes she already found him creepy enough. Something wasn't right she felt like something was going to happen.
Just then a slim shadowed guy stepped down from a buildings roof he grinned "My I would not have seen such a sad sight. A ghoul playing with his food then letting it go. You are a disgrace"His eyes their original form as it should be he laughed "Well I'm not letting you let such a fine feast go" -
"I have no idea what you're talking about." He snapped instantly recognizing who was before him. "She dropped her wallet." Tanner smirked as if saying 'its mine'. "Now hurry up." He said leaning against Leah's ear. "Keep on walking." He turned back to the other ghoul, eyes returning to their natural color.
-
Leah didn't know what to do, the guy could catch up if she was to walk she decided just to listen she attempted to walk forward.
Alfie grabbed her by the throat lifting her from the ground he threw her back down making her hit the floor hard "Where do you think your going?"he growled before turning back to tanner "Your just a petty theif"He laughed "What a waste of life for a ghoul, your not fooling anyone"he tightened his grip -
Tanner hissed "Nah, I know when to appreciate a good piece of prey." His voice went down a pitch. "Come on Alfie, you know me better than that." He swatted at his hand with a swift slap. "I called this one! Mine! Back off. You understand that?" His knees bent in a crouch beside Leah, his hand tossed the wallet against her chest. "You know how many targets you could have picked?"
-
Alfie chuckled "Seriously? You know how hungry I am. But fine have fun"he sighed annoyed that he would have to pick someine else he jumped onto the roof and went to find someine new
Leah felt hurt all over she noticed she was bleeding from her arm. She coughed feeling the air go through her rough throat. She felt alive with pain but she closed her eyes not wanting to see Tanner as she knew she was going to die at his awful hands. -
Tanner flinched as he caught the scent of blood. "Jealous." He whispered. His eyes returned colors and he turned away. Yes, he was starving, he doesn't really remember the last time he ate. "Stay out of trouble." He didn't meet her face as he sprinted to the corner of the alley way. She wouldn't last a second. He stopped and back pedaled. "Get up now."
-
Leah was confused but got herself to her feet she held he side trying to stop the flow that would lead others to her.
She felt like she was going to pass out but she stayed eyes open "Why?"she asked wondering why he hadn't lost it and ripped her apart yet -
"First things first. Quit smelling good." His grip got tighter on her wrist. "Police station? Where is it?" His tone was flat. "Sorry about that guy, trouble maker." He was keeping himself busy. Talking fast and walking fast. His head kept low. Smells flooded his nose. "Police station." If possible his grip got toghter.
-
"You..."Leah sighed knowing she probably won't get an answer "That way"she pointed down a street where there was a sign. She couldn't think straight she was just so confused why would a ghoul help her when they were hungry. It baffled her
-
"Come on." Tanner said jerking her wrist harder. "Hurry up!" He twisted down the side door sniffing the air. He let her wrist go and pushed heavily against the metal door. He backed up and pushed into it again. The metal gabe way and he stepped in the cold dark room. He pulled her inside and shut the door. "This will hide your scent." He commented running to the refrigerator on the floor. The door was pulled open and took a bag out.
-
Leah wrapped her arms around herself as ig was cold. She nodded grateful that she would be hidden with only one ghoul to worry about. She looked over at him to see what he had in his hand but before she could see it in detail she blacked out and fell to the floor
-
The bag had evidence written on it in big letters. Tanner shrugged and pulled it open. He tried not to shift forms as he greedily took a bute from whatever piece of flesh happened to be "important." He heard the thud but tried to ignore it as he ate. He got a glimpse of her and took a few steps over. He nudged her with his foot. "Come on princess."
-
Leah took a while to respond she couldn't describe the pain she wanted to forget it was there. She pulled herself to her feet again "Don't call me that!"she said angrily as princess was what her dad used to call her. She was more pale maybe from the cold maybe from the amount of blood she had lost her eyes were dull as she looked at him.
-
Tanner glanced down at her arm. "Your dying." he comment with a sniff. "I can talk you through it. I have no idea how to fix that." He took another whiff. "Funny place, a morgue. Did you know morgue was originally French? It was a place where they put their dead." He ran his sleeve getting a smidge of the blood off his cheek. "Of course it had other influences I'm sure. I still wonder why they decided to name it? I mean, isn't it all the same?"
