The other twolegs seemed to have had witnessed what had happened to their friends, and in Shadestorm's opinion, looked more scared.

'SURPRISE, MOUSEBRAINS!' Rainstar yowled to the twolegs from inside the den. He curled his paw around the three kits.
'One day, you could be out there, fighting, kits. But today is not that day.' He told them. He broke open an almond (they were virtually everywhere, even inside dens) and crunched up the nut inside. His face scrunched up.
'And sometimes you'll have to go on patrols for collecting almonds. Please make sure they are plain almonds before you eat them.' He added, spitting out the bitter nut.(Fun fact: Cats can't taste sweetness, so I guess a warrior would consider it plain).

Shadowleaf stalked outside, waiting for a Twoleg to dare to come close to her claws.

Flamepaw was staring in horror at the twolegs. They were ruining her home! She leaped onto one and bit its meaty paw.

"Scratch their arms!" Shadowleaf yowled to the apprentice. She ran up a tree that was near a Twoleg, and jumped, screeching as she raked her claws down its front.

Flamepaw did, digging her claws deep into its arm, before pulling. She left three deep scratches in its arm, and it ran off

Rainstar winced at the wounds Shadowleaf and Flamepaw made on the twoleg. It looked as if one of them were fleeing.
'Yes!' He meowed triumphantly. -
Shadowleaf lashed her tail, looking at the other Twolegs. She must have looked frightful, and plenty scary, because one wheeled around and followed the one she had harmed. She hissed at the very last, her claws digging into the ground as she prepared to spring forward and sink her fangs into its legs. The Twoleg looked at her for a moment, then followed its comrades, yowling something in its foul language.

Floodkit peeked out of the den at the twolegs. He thought they looked harmless, and were just trying to get some food or something. "I feel bad," he said.
