[hr]Trill staggered to her feet, stumbling over to her friend. She could only smell him, there was no sign of Barrow otherwise. "Barrow?" she whined, scrabbling at the lighter bit of debris. He was there somewhere- there was a mound of branches and rocks, all piled in one area. Everywhere else had it in a practical level area. Her giant friend must be in there.
But her light, thin paws couldn't move the giant branches in the way. Those thicker ones that had snapped in the shaking would need other dogs to come help move it. "Barrow...?"[/fancypost]

[hr]Trill whined in fear, not daring to touch her friend. Large gashes left by branches, still embedded in him, marred Barrow's body. He was covered blood and wasn't moving, but his sides were heaving. Barrow was having trouble breathing.
Backing away, trembling, Trill tripped over a branch. Ears flat, teeth bared and body shaking, it was obvious Trill was very, very out of it, and not on a skytrip. Something terrible had happened here, and it only served to dredge up the kind of memories Trill never wanted to see again.
Blood everywhere. Blood that clouded her view and blew in the breeze, blood covering her paws and staining the ground, reeking in the air and pooling out everywhere, everywhere, she could taste it and feel it sticking all over her, all over, all over and she couldn't get it off, no water would wash it away; blood, blood [color=red]blood...[/fancypost]
