  • Deathclaw carried Scarecrow to the den. "Brasstar, we need to talk to you, this may be important."

  • ScareCrow hissed in fury. "Put me down," He growled.

  • "But I don't want them to see me," ScareCrow spat, thrashing around.

  • "I know they won't hurt me but they can order you to," ScareCrow snarled.

  • "You'd better not tell him that I fought against ThunderClan when the Shadows attacked," ScareCrow said.

  • "I don't, I just hate ThunderClan," ScareCrow replied bitterly.

  • "What's going on?" Brassstar meowed sharply. His eyes glinted as he witnessed the scuffle in front of his den.

  • "There has been a fight on the border. Some group called the Shadows attack a number of our cats and kidnapping some cats," He reported, dropping Scarecrow. "They were assisted by some loners, and this one knows were the group is."

  • ScareCrow hissed in pain not from being dropped but from his broken rib.

  • "Brassstar, I have a Shadowclan prisoner. Come to the nersury. Go to Swiftfire. You will find him. His name is Rapidfire." he said.

  • The Shadows.... that name seemed vaugely familiar.... Brassstar frowned slightly as he tried to remember. "Speak on their whereabouts, loner, or you're going to feel the wrath of ThunderClan," the ginger tabby growled. He wasn't usually this way, but then again, cats weren't usually kidnapped.

At Lightningrod's mention of a ShadowClan prisoner, Brassstar's ears flattened. "Do you want ShadowClan to have another reason to attack us?" he demanded.

  • "Well I don't exactally know where they are, but I am good tracker..." ScareCrow answered.

  • Razorclaww looked at Scarecrow more closely and shock flooded his pelt as he regonized the tom and flattened his ears in distaste.

  • Brassstar held back a growl of frustration. "If he doesn't know where they are, then why is a loner in my den?" the ginger tabby ground out, struggling to keep his voice calm.
