"Hey Fragment." He said, smiling at her. He looked at the other girl, not trusting her, he didn't really trust anyone, but Fragment seemed like him and he instantly began to like her.

She smiled. "We were just discussing where we should make camp for the night. Any suggestions?"
-
He looked around, and shook his head. "I don't know." He told her. The only place he could think to sleep was in a tree, but not many people where capable of sleeping in uncomfortable positions.
-
"Hi..." Carol said hesitantly. "I'm Carol, and this is Alyssa." She pointed to Alyssa, who was a step or two away from them.
-
He looked at the two nervously. "A...Alex..." He told the two softly, his wings flapping softly. He looked down nervously. He hated talking to multiple people.
-
"What supplies do we have then?" Fragment started in an attempt to break the tension, her silver wing expanding. "I have some food... and a couple of sheets that could pass as blankets I guess...."
-
"I can go... Scout." Carol suggested, and took to the air. She was sore, but the chilling night air had a calming affect. Without really thinking about it, she started singing to herself. "Goodnight my angel, time to close your eyes. And save these questions for another day..."
-
"But we haven't... set up... camp... yet..." she protested. "Er, okay then. I guess I can do it myself... maybe..." The white haired girl searched for a nice place to make a shelter. She eventually found a clump of trees leaning against each other, and she propped various sticks against and on top of it. Within a few hours, a makeshift tent suitable for two or three people had been constructed. She draped one of her sheets over it for extra insulation, but decided that it was too conspicuous and removed it. She covered the bottom with leaves for comfort, and curled up inside.
-
Carol arrived back at camp holding an armful of apples. "Thank you." She said to Fragment. "If anyone is hungry, I found these." She offered, indicating the apples.
-
"Thanks," she replied, yawning. Fragment took an apple, ate it, and fell asleep in her makeshift shelter, using her wing as a blanket rather than the sheets.
-
Alex looked at them, and then started walking away. He quickly climbed into a tree. He laid down in the tree, yawning. He looked down at the others and waited to fall asleep.
-
Carol decided to take watch and quietly started munching on her apple, scanning the surroundings.
(Sorry it's short)

Ooc: My apologize, I don't have my school laptop and I moved. Fun.
Ic: Carol tried to keep her wandering thoughts on scanning the surrounding and not on the thoughts of freedom that kept popping into her head. She wondered if she should wake anyone up for watch in a few hours and if so, who.
-
(Fragment is asleep so should I post an update of her greater half?)
-
Ooc: Okay! Would you mind if Carol had a crush on him? (If he is a boy...)
-
(Yes he's a boy, I don't mind, and is it okay if I use my imagination with how the inside of GEST looks? Just tell me what it's like.)
-
Ooc: Feel free to make GEST look like whatever!

Subject 5247, as he was called, walked irritably around the deceptively white halls. His single wing had been flapping nonstop for the past ten hours, banging into things and creating noise. So much noise. But now, it seemed to be settling down, and he could finally have some peace and quiet. Well, not really, but if his stupid other half hadn't run away, he could. But he didn't need her. The former subject passed clean laboratory door after clean laboratory door, each hiding a not-so-clean secret. Pfft, like he cared. The ignorance of the other subjects annoyed him, but they were only animals, after all. He had been one of them, too, before he realized what the tests did for him, for everyone. Even though the experiment didn't quite go as planned, the product was so much more than what they started with. And they were going to just throw him (and his pitiful other half) away! What a waste, he'd said, to dispose of something like me. And it was true. Without the fragment, he was rid of all his fear and cowardice. Even if being away from her made him nervous, and he couldn't silence all the voices in his head, he was still stronger, and maybe if he'd gotten rid of her sooner, all the side effects would have gone away. Gotten rid of her for good. It would have been easy, she was so frail and weak it made him sick. But he missed his chance, and he was stuck here at GEST monitoring the other accidents instead of chasing after the pathetic whelp. But he wouldn't disobey, because to do so would be to lose the little trust he'd worked so hard to earn.

Ooc: do you want to fast forward to morning?
