  • Carol supported the white-haired girl. "We need to head North." She said, biting her lip and looking at Alyssa. I'm pretty sure Alyssa can hold her own and join up with us, but I don't want to leave her...

  • She flapped her wing experimentally. As usual, the resulting breeze tousled her hair, but only on one side. However, she felt both her wings move, even though one wasn't connected to her body. Was it an impression?

  • This is weird Carol thought. "Here, I'll hold your weight on this side." She held the white-haired girl's she really needs a name (Carol thought) arm and hovered a few inched above the ground.

  • She began to work her wings, feeling both but only achieving the results of one. Carol would have to support more than half of her weight, but it should be okay since she was very small.

  • Carol was surprised, and slightly worried, at how light the girl seemed, but first she had to ask one more time. "Are you sure you don't want a name? I feel odd, not knowing how to address you..."

  • "A... name?" She thought for a moment, remembering what the other half used to call her: a fragment of myself.
    "Er, Fragment?"

  • "Fragment." Carol repeated. "Unique." Carol wasn't sure what to say. "Um, how old do you think you are? I'm about fourteen."

  • "I... I don't know..." she admitted. She didn't have much memory of who she was, having only recently become independent from the rest of the soul. "Twelve? Maybe?"

  • Fragment gripped Carol tightly as she tried with all her might to fly. With the help, she was able to rise a few inches at a time.

  • Carol smiled as Fragment got into the air. She faced North, and started flying forward slowly, making sure she was still supporting Fragment.

  • Seeing everyone heading north, Alex decided to follow. He had no where else to go, so he figured they might have some sort of plan. He lagged behind on purpose, not wanting to be near everyone else, but not far enough away from them to not notice him.

  • With Carol doing most of the heavy lifting, Fragment was able to fly somewhat competently. She was soon short of breath, though; she was spending energy on both wings but only using one. She refused to give up, however, and didn't let Carol know how tiring it was.

  • Sorry XD

Alyssa flew after them, soon catching up and trying to communicate she could help lift Fragment. The reason this post was so short was because Futurewatcher was currently wanting to become invisible and then scare a bunch of others.
