Jesse dodged a stack of boxes and slipped on his shoes. and coat. the Warm summer evening was refreshing to a cold blooded creature like him. he loved his neighborhood, it was cozy ad easygoing, and everyone was friendly. New York was WAY too much for him, so he decided to move. His small ranch style house had patchy front lawn with some beat-up looking bushes in front of the house, but the things that made it cozy was the huge trees shading the yard, spanish moss draped across the gnarled branches. Little green lights twinkled around in the air, fireflies just as bright as the stars above...he liked it. maybe he could fix up the landscaping some, but later. he needed a meal. he walked off the driveway, deciding to leave his car here, And took in the scents around him, catching several humans safe inside there homes. there had to be someone taking a walk or something... there was one scent of a human. e was probably no older than the age he appeared, and feeling devious. huh, he wondered why. he crept into the shadow of a large oak tree, watching him walk into the the driveway and knock. whew, he had thought he had missed his chance for a second, but it seemed that that was not his house.
