    Echostripe sniffed the air. "What do you think it could be?" he asked curiously.


    A small smile crossed Dawnfeather's face as he sped up to match his apprentice's speed. "Who,"

    Rainpaw ~ Rainpaw ran faster. "Well you, of course!" She laughed and turned her head back just in time to see a tree in front of her. She turned to the left quickly and gasped. "That was close!"

    "i think it's a badger or fox"she said"it smells like a stail scent of a badger and then a fresh scent of somethin."

    Dawnfeather leapt up onto one of the low branches and began running from branch to branch slightly ahead of his apprentice.


    "Let's go check it out than," Echostripe mewed as he followed the scent trail.

    Rainpaw ~ Rainpaw tipped her head up and saw Dawnfeather. She chuckled lightly and tried to catch up. He wasnt too far ahead, but there was no way she would be a kittypet! Rainpaw noticed they were almost at the traning hollow.

    Echostripe padded on, the scent was getting stronger and stronger with each paw-step.

    Dawnfeather saw the training hollow and tried to speed up his pace without losing his balance.

    Rainpaw ~ Now Rainpaw could see the hollow. She looked up to Dawnfeather. "Dont fall!" She called, and raced ahead, taking a giant leap into the hollow.

    Dawnfeather leapt off of the branch he was on and landing on top of his apprentice. "If I were an enemy you would be in StarClan by now," he notified.

    Rainpaw ~ Rainpaw squirmed underneath him. "Yeah, your right. Maybe I should pay more attention, even when having fun."

    Dawnfeather purred and got off his apprentice. "Now what moves do you know so far?" he asked.

    Rainpaw ~ The apprentice shuffled her paws and looked at the ground. "Well, actually...I used to be in another clan but a forest fire destroyed everything and me and Snowpoppy left to live here in Autumnclan instead. I became an apprentice only a few days before the fire, so I never got around to learning any moves..." She trailed off and looked up at Dawnfeather. "But I will learn, right?"

    "Of course you will, now come at me," Dawnfeather mewed as he stood his ground.

    Rainpaw ~ Knowing he would try to jump out of the way, she faced more the the left side of him and ran, but at the last moment switched to running at his right side, hoping to surprise him.

    Dawnfeather leapt to the side.


    Echostripe stopped and hid in a nearby bush.
