The Dominion raids had started to die down (for the moment, at least), and things were going back to the way they should be: a state of relative peacefulness. That seemed to be the best one could ask for when it came to BloodClan. Not that this bothered Serani; she had willingly joined a clan best known for its brutality, so she couldn't exactly complain.
And, besides, the young tigress was learning so much. She'd been learning new combat techniques, meeting lots of new people, and was overall enjoying the new experience. All she had to do was overlook the... minor negative details. Torture, among other nefarious practices, wasn't exactly Serani's thing, but, well, BloodClan was infamous for a reason.
Even with the less appealing aspects of the place, Serani found herself growing attached to the wicked clan. Many clan members were surprisingly sociable, even nice. And yet, she missed her family all the same. The issue plagued Serani often, causing her to sit around, lost in thought. That was just what she did when she had a problem that was difficult to solve. In fact, that was just what the Bengal tigress was doing at the very moment. To be more specific, she was lying near the border looking completely zoned out, staring off into the jungle and desert brush just beyond the border.
It was one of the few times someone might have been able to catch the tigress off-guard, see her vulnerable and realize just how homesick she was. Other than times like this, Serani maintained a happy, sociable attitude. And she was, for the most part, happy--the tigress simply missed her family.
Serani continued to think, trying to figure out a way she could visit some of her family who lived in the Dominion without getting ripped apart by a dragon or something ridiculous like that.[/fancypost]
