Boarding School Take 2

    So here's the sign up. You should already know the plot if you were part of the other thread. So because it got out of hand last time, this is going to be less of an intro and more of a rules type thing. So, here goes.


    1) Cats6 is my second in command...she's in charge when I'm away.
    2) There is a max of 3 Characters per player. Exceptions would be if you want to make a teacher, or if you have a really good plot or reason to make another character, in case you must message me your reason and I'll think about it. At the moment, Cats6 is the only exception since I've roleplayed with her many times and trust her to keep from getting out of hand.
    3) Nothing chaotic - no setting fires! You may ask me if you have a plot idea, but keep in mind that it may be declined.

    Username: amber_the_poet
    Character Name: Rayne
    Age: 17
    Personality: Shy, but friendly when you get to know her. She gets a bit uptight when it comes to her speaking about her past though, and will become increasingly nervous and eventually shut down if you try to get her to talk about it, unless she really and truly trusts the person or cares about them romantically. She tends to be a bit paraniod at times, and thinks that everyone is out to get her because of her past experiences. However, she can be brave when she needs to, especially when it comes to protecting the ones she loves.
    History: Her dad was a seeker, and her mom helped her hide her talent from him. When she turned fourteen though, her father caught her using her power to amuse the little boy she was babysitting. Her mother was able to distract her father long enough for her to get away. In his anger, her father killed her mother, and then came after Rayne. Luckily, Rayne escaped, although she takes all the blame for her mother's death. Even now, her dad is still seeking her out to kill her.

    Character Name: Onyx
    Age: 16
    Personality: Prankster, hyper, friendly
    History: He doesn't remember anything from his past - he pretty much woke up in a cardboard box in a park. He knows information, such as events and dates from history, but he has no actual memories. He doesn't really care, though.
    Power: He can control/morph shadows - like make them alive and control them, or bring them forward to shield himself.

    Character Name: James Marks (Mr. Marks)
    Age: 21
    Personality: Because he's a math teacher, most people think that he would be a nerd; but that's actually not so. While he is quite intellectual, he enjoys going out and having fun. He spends a lot of his time at various dance clubs and bars, although he never lets himself get drunk. He enjoys helping his students, and will spend plenty of one-on-one time with anyone who needs it. He cares about his students, and will be there for them both inside and outside of class, and will try to help them with any personal problems they may have if he can.
    History: He was once a student at Starlight Academy, and once it was realized that he was a genieus when it came to math, Mr. Madeik hired him as soon as he graduated at the age of 17. He's been a teacher for four years now.
    Power: Polymath - He's extremely good with numbers, it comes naturally to him

    I have 4 characters, but one of them is a teacher. Feel free to let me know if you want me to take one of them away (just not Essa, she is kind of my favorite of the moment :) )

    Character Name: Vanessa (Essa)
    Age: 16
    Personality: Vanessa is gentle girl with a kind heartand a love for nature. She is a vegetarian, and hates to see harm come to animals. She is carring and gentle, and a bookworm. She can't write very well herself, wich makes her sad because her mother was a writer. She also loves to dance, but usually hides because she is quite clumsy.
    History: Vanessa was an orphan at the age of three. She was sold into becomming a maid for a wealthy family and was treated as a daughter. When she was seven, Vanessa, or Essa as she was better known, found a dragon scale while she was treating the flowers in the garden. She then found herself speaking to the flowers and plants. Her masters noticed this, and in hopes of helping her sent her to the school so she could control her new talent.

    Character Name: Mike
    Age: 18
    Personality: Cool and Laidback, he is your typical cute, jock that seems just wwwwaaaayyyy to perfect. Deep down he is a poet, he just is afraid to show it.
    History: Typical family that found out he was a talent and kicked him to the curb. Mike met Essa when he was thirteen when he stumbled upon her Master's home. She snuck food for him and was the one to tell him about Starlight Academy years later.
    Power: Speedster. He can travel up to 456 mph, but it makes him very hungry

    Personality: Quiet and quirky. Clara can be somewhat of a clutz, but tries her best to be proffesional. She is very compassionate, and will not hesitate to help her students.

    Power: When she reads aloud, whatever she reads comes to life until she send them back.

    Age: 11
    Personality: Quiet, but confident. Missy likes to keep to herself most often and does not like the company of strangers. She is very certain of her actions, and can be quite stubborn.
    History: She is Miss James niece. That's all I got :/
    Power: Electricty Flow. She control the elecricity charge in a room. If she is angry or upset, the lights in a room will flicker on and off and sometimes explode.

    Other: I can see her taking a liking to Felix, if that's cool with you cats :)

    Name: Kye
    Age: 15
    Appearance: wavy black hair, gray eyes, Latino American.
    Personality: Smart, clever, perfectionist sometimes, likes music, free hugs (sometimes)
    Power: Shape shifter (If there already is one i apologize. Just ask me to change it)
    Picture: None found (yet).
    History: Raised in Cuba, moved to Europe, moved to California, kicked out of every school for being a "rebel", "questioning authority", and all that stuff no one understands about kids.

    Gender: Female
    Personality: Fiery, and very determined. Gets very easily annoyed, but at the same time can easily offend others. She is confident, and forward in approaching others. Isn't very loyal, and untrustworthy. Very passionate.
    Description: Tall and slim, tan and with bright red hair, that falls to her hips in gentle curls. Her eyes are a bright grassy green. She is always wearing makeup, so her lips are always cherry-red, and her eyelashes long and dark.

    History: Her parents sent her to a boarding school when she was four.
    Other: She has a pet cat called Kiss, which is black with green eyes. Scarlett cannot read or write, but Alex went to a school were they taught him so he can.

    Gender: Male
    Personality: Confident, cunning and cocky. Very sure of himself, and is very good at talking to strangers and introducing him to new people.
    Description: Dark, floppy hair, that always falls over his eyes. Dark eyes. Quite tall.
    Talent: Control emotions through touch. Sense emotions from the same room.
    History: Parents gave him to a boarding school when he was four, he has just joined Starlight, though.
    other: His twin sister, Scarlett, also goes to this school.

    History: Charlotte was called a lot of things when she was younger. A freak. An experiment. She left her parents around age ten. She often changed to look older so no one would be suspicous of her living on her own. She found the boarding school and happily moved to live there.

    Name: Jess Tolls
    Age: 17

    Personality: Jess is headstrong, rude and mean to everyone he meets. Under his rough exterior however, is a caring, hurt person. He tends to make rash decisions.
    History: Jess was 14 when he used his talent. It got out of control, burning his own house down and his mother was killed. He never uses his talent in large proportions but manages to get into trouble by mostly vandalism and stealing. His father sent him to the boarding school to straighten him out.
    Talent: producing and controlling fire
    Other: Jess's father sent a letter to the principal, advising him to keep a close eye on his son. [/size][/font]

    Don't worry, Paramore, it's fine :) Sorry if I was harsh...I'm just under a lot of pressure at home, stressed out with stuff...blah blah blah, yeah lol.

    Appearance: Light brown hair, and blue eyes. (Lol yes that's it)
    Personality: Aria is tough but nice, she's a tom-boy who really loves her friends, she always puts them before her even if she doesn't look like she is. Aria likes to be sure of things, and usually forgets so she often asks questions.
    History: A little girl was found up a mountain by two hikers, she lay on the ground unconscious, and around her neck dangled a strange emerald. The hikers took her into their family, and decided to send her to starlight academy since she was always the 'Weirdo' in normal school's.
    Talent: Phasing
    Other: She has a strange emerald necklace which she never takes off, the history about this gem is unknown by anyone including herself.

    Name: Amaryllis
    Age: 13
    Appearance: Blonde haired with olive green eyes.
    Personality: Amaryllis has always been the shy girl who sits in the corner or stares out the window, she isn't the girl you would see getting into trouble. She tends to misunderstand things and often needs help in school work. Amaryllis is very emotional if you said the words 'You suck' she would stay up all night trying to think it through... Yea
    History: Amaryllis has lived in a orphanage all her life, she has never gone to a school before and was always home schooled, she never got adopted ever, since she was the wacky girl although her talent was very helpful everyone thought she was strange and left her out of everything, so she often got bullied in the orphanage.
