Stopping to see who approached, Steamy grinned and mewed happily, "Ah, nothing in particular, really! It's just been really nice recently!" Pausing, she realized she didn't really know the she-cat before her. "By the way, I'm Steamy! Nice to meet'cha!"

Giving a smile at the apprentice's enthusiasm, Flux began to list off her answers. "I do love flowers, especially daisies. Do dandelions count as flowers? I love them, as well. Feathers are pretty nice... My favorite color is yellow. My best friend is most likely Lavapaw, honestly... And... What about you? What are your favorite things?"

"Dandelions absolutely count as flowers!" she said, for she didn't like it when others seemed to neglect dandelions as flowers. At least she found someone who shared her views! "As for me, my favorite flower is probably the orchid, feathers are absolutely amazing, favorite color is purple, and my best friend is Bridalpaw! Other favorites are grasshoppers, asking questions, and learning!"

"Well, I don't actually have a mentor just yet, so I haven't been out hunting, but I do like mice! Although, they look kinda funny when you think about it.." Steam was finding Flux very easy to talk to, and she appreciated that. It was always nice to have a parental figure in life.

Maybe sometime soon? Yes, that would work. "If you really need me to, I could... help mentor you, after Danny is a bit older, of course."

"Ahh, well, no one's applied thus far, really." she explained, hoping that things like this weren't unnatural. Upon hearing that Flux would offer, she brightened immensely. "Really? Ya would? Obviously Danny has to get older, but yeah, I would love to have you as a mentor, even if it's for a shortened time!" Oh, joy! This turned out well.

I'll mentor you when Danny is able to take care of himself and we can actually have some training sessions without me having to worry so much about his well-being."she mewed, mood brightened. This was a good plan. Being a mentor would be a tough job, but she was completely prepared to do it.
