Two Luminees (Deputies) have kits. The eldest kit will become the next Luminee when it's parents die, and it in turn will take a Combatant as it's mate to become a Luminee also. Same with the rest of the high-ranking positions, except MoonSeekers (Med Apps) and Leaders. - We come in all kinds of odd colors, and if we're born into high-ranking positions or become a cat of a higher rank, our pelts turn brighter. They stay the same pattern, but our colors turn cool and unnatural. - Luminaries, (Leaders), have the brightest and the most varied colors. We have two Luminaries. One female, and one male. Both Luminaries are mated to each other, in a bondage for live. Once a Luminary loses all seven (yes, seven.) lives, the last Luminary will step down and become a Combatant (Warrior) or an Obsolete (Elder.), based on age or abilities. - Luminees are like Deputies. They take care of hunting patrols and camp defenses. There are two Luminees. A male and a female. They may choose to be mates, or they may choose to have different mates. Their kits become Combatants should they decide to have kits. - Moon Catchers. (Medicine Cats). They interpret dreams, heal the sick and injured, help birth kits, keep a look out for the clan to make sure that every cat is well, ect. Male and female MoonCatchers are only permitted each other as mates, and no cat else. They are forbidden to have kits, and the male Luminary chooses any willing CombatOuter (Warrior apprentice) to become a Moon Catcher's apprentice. - Moon Seekers, (or Medicine Cat Apprentices). This cat must be at least SEVEN moons old, with one moon of Combatant(Warrior) training. They must be willing to become a Moon Catcher in their future, and must understand the cost as well. They must step forward during a Clan meeting if the Female Luminary asks for CombatOuters willing to become Moon Seekers. The Male Luminary decides which cat would be more suitable if there was any competition, and he comes to the conclusion with the help of the current Moon Catchers. Once the Moon Seeker is chosen, their pelt turns into it's new, vibrant color, and stays that way until the cat places itself at a lower rank. Moon Seekers become Moon Catchers when one Moon Catcher dies, or demotes themselves to a lower rank. Or when their mentor thinks they're ready. There may only be ONE Moon Seeker. - A Combatant is a Warrior. These cats must be TWELVE moons and older. They can chose whomever they want as mates, and they have less strict policies to follow than higher ranked cats. They hunt, decent, and fill the camp. They can be chosen by a Luminee as a mate. If a Luminee chooses a Combatant as a mate when there is not a second Luminee, that Combatant will become the second Luminee. If there is a second one, then they will remain a Combatant with a higher ranked mate. These cats have normal fur colors, and they are mentors to CombatOuters. - CombatOuters are Apprentices. These cats must be SIX moons old to become a CombatOuter. They are mentored by Combatants, and also have regular fur colors. They can have crushes, but cannot have actual mates until they reach their Combatant stage, at TWELVE moons. These cats learn to hunt and defend. If they want to become a Moon Seeker, they must have completed at least ONE moon of Combatant training before stepping up. - A Forbearer is the mother of a kit, or kits. Or she's expecting kits. She stays with her kits at all times until they become SIX moons. Then the mother moves back to her original rank, and the kit becomes a CombatOuter. - Nurslings are kits. They must stay in their nests with their mothers until they become SIX moons old. These cats are obviously not allowed to have mates, however, they can have crushes. They are born with normal everyday cat colors, but grow into their pelt colors when they become apprentices. - Obsolete. Or Elders. These cats can do whatever they'd like. Because they're old. There are only two things an Obsolete cannot do. They cannot have a mate who is a Combatant or any other rank, and they cannot hunt on their own. CombatOuters usually take care of the Obsolete by bringing them fresh bedding or food. They lose their color and turn back to the original color that they were as a kit. These cats have mutations that have allowed them to have better hearing, and sharper eyesight. They also have excellent hunting and fighting skills. These mutations occurred many, many moons ago, when two-legs found their nice home area. They began building odd machines and skyscrapers. The amount of pollution affected the clans nearby. Gray mist is always hanging in the air, just fox-legnths away from the camp. That makes it easier to hunt and not be seen. It's not a problem for them because of their enhanced eyesight. The camp inside is protected by a short sloping hill that wraps itself around them like a warm shield, or blanket. in the middle of the hill there is a thick circle of bramble that keeps outsiders in their place, and the SpacerClan cats safely tucked away. There is an opening in the brambles surrounded by grass, which is how the cats get out. Their dens are made of holes in the side of the hill, just below the protective bramble line. The Luminary den (Leader's den) is at the peek of the hill, at the highest point of where the bramble starts. There's a rock there for the cats to gather under during clan meetings. The Moon Catchers and Seekers den is the biggest den on the floor of the camp, just off to the right of the Luminaries den. There is a small creek that runs at the foot of the hill on the other side of it, the base outside the camp. If you continue past that creek for a while, you'll come to the city.
