    WindClan. It was a rather nice clan, fairly large in size, and more just kept coming. However, the small three-moon old kit had one teensy-weensy problem –– she hardly knew anyone. Sure, she had seen others here and there, but she hadn't really gotten a chance to formally meet them. And there was one of her peers in particular whom she was rather curious about; Lavakit, sister to Steam's friend Bridalkit. Steamkit had seen the ginger femme a bit, but was quite excited to possibly befriend her. Without another moment's hesitation, the tabby called out, "Lavakit? Where you at?!"

  • [justify]Lavakit heard an unfamiliar voice calling her name, and for a moment she thought that she was in trouble, until she saw the face to match the voice. Oh, it was just Steamkit! Nothing to be worried about, Ava hoped anyways. "Here I am." The red tabby mewed, waving her tail to make herself more noticeable. "What's up?"

    Upon hearing the voice of the fellow tabby, Steamkit turned to face her and beamed. "There you are!" she grinned, glad Ava could come. "Nothing's really.. up, I guess, but I wanted to get to know you better! You know, like, friends!"

  • [justify]"Oh, okay." Lavakit mewed, giving a small smile. "Well, my full name is Lavakit Kallisto-Prior. My parents are Lilystar and Fourfears, I'm four moons old.. Bridalkit is my sister, but you probably already knew all of that. Uhh, Honeykit is my best friend forever, but both of his parents don't like me. My favourite colour is red, obviously," she grinned, looking down at her bright red pelt. "And I excel in sneaking out of camp but I can't for now due to my sprained paw."

    Feeling happy that the brown fem received a larger answer than expected, Steam decided to give her side of a response. "My full name is Steamkit, nicknames Steam or Steamy, last names unknown. I don't even think my parents had last names... Oh well! I don't really know my parents that well, so I can't really tell you that much! I'm three moons old, and as far as I know, an only child. You'll have to introduce me to this Honeykit sometime, and my favorite color is deep purple!" Remembering that Lavakit brought up something of a sprained paw, Steam instantly went into question mode. "Did it hurt? How'd you do it? Was it worth it? Were feathers involved in any way??"

  • [justify]Feathers? Well, Ava supposed that feathers were in some way involved, technically. Nodding appropriately at the brown tabby's facts about herself, she stiffened slightly when Steamkit mentioned introducing her to Honeykit. What if he liked her better? What if they became best friends? Realizing that was unlikely, since they both promised they would always be best friends, she gave another nod. "I'm sure you guys would get along, he's really nice."

    At Steamkit's next stream of questions, Ava took a second before answering each one. "Yes it hurt, I fell off of the side of the mountain, no it wasn't really worth it, and yes, feathers were involved because my half sister, Eternalpaw, flew down and rescued me."

    "Ooh!" she gasped upon hearing about Eternal's endeavor to save Ava. "She saved you? Like a hero?! How cool!!" Steamy mused, imagining the scene in her mind. She was a great fan of things like that; great heroes, justice-seekers, detectives, and the like. Hearing about this quite possibly made her day.

  • [justify]Ava shrugged, not really sharing the enthusiasm. "I don't think she likes me very much," the apprentice murmured, her tone growing quieter as she spoke. Despite Eternalpaw only being her half sister, it was still rather disheartening to not have your own siblings like you.

    [font=georgia]
    Well, that was a shock. "Nononono, that can't be true! If she didn't like you, why would she save you? Plus, you're, like, extremely likable, nice, helpful, great, the list goes on! I can't imagine anyone not liking you!" Steamy didn't have any siblings (at least, not to her knowledge), so she couldn't really think of what Ava felt in the midst of this.

  • [justify]"Because letting the leader's daughter die is kind of.. unheard of," Lavapaw mewed with a small, but half-hearted chuckle. Besides, she didn't know for sure if Eternalpaw actually disliked her. "But thanks," Ava added, smiling at the string of compliments. Despite Steampaw's exuberant and bubbly demeanor (which Lavakit used to share), the marbled tabby actually quite liked the other female.
