Barali wandered up to a jewel stand.
-
The female tending the stall. She shook her gemmed decorations, hanging from her horns. "See something you like?" She purred.
-
"I'm looking for a shiny trinket."Barali said, "I can offer this." He said and put the white vine on the stall.
-
The dragoness looked it over. "This is... A curious creation of nature."
-
"Is it enough to trade for a trinket of my choosing?" Barali asked.
-
"Hmmm.... Of course," she purred, putting the vine away.
-
Barali chose a ruby off the table, "thank you." Barali said and nodded to her before walking off with the little trinket.
-
The dragoness began to pluck the jewels from the vine.
-
She discovered they were leaves but also seeds to grow more of the plant. Barali was flying off towards Marcus's castle to pick up the next item he needed.
-
The dragoness smiled at her discovery.
At the castle the soldiers called out dragon again. -
Barali landed and shifted and discovered the ruby was much bigger than he thought. Marcus and Barali chatted for a while and Barali began to head home with one item in each claw.
-
Karmin had returned from visiting Scale and had begun to trim the remaining vines so they wouldn't overtake the cave.
-
Barali landed in the cave and set his load down, "hello!" He said as he shifted back to a human.
-
Karmin turned around and looked at him. "You're back quick I suppose."
-
"I brought you a flower." Barali said.
-
She blinked. "A... Flower?" Sge asked as though he hadn't gotten the message for a dragon alternative of a flower.
-
"Yes. I had help making it." Barali said.
-
"Making it? What are you talking about? She asked, approaching.
-
She saw a large golden flower with a ruby at its center and a blanket for her he'd, "is this like what Marcus did for Uria?" Barali asked.
