Dreamy groaned from where she sat on the river bank, watching the torrent of water tumble and shift down stream. Since her dad was gone the smokey child found herself growing more and more lonely; his lack of presence was like a thorn in her side, always there to bug her.

As the young male sat himself down he looked towards Dreamkit and analyzed her seemingly sad features, they truly were pitiful, "Why so down in the dumps hun?," he asked rather carefully, he despised seeing such sad faces in RiverClan and although there was no way to stop the cause Reincub could certainly try his best to stop the effect.

"My dad taught me to swim here, before he left.." Dreamkit would say in response to Reincub, turning her head to flash him a small smile. She liked Reincub pretty decently, he always seemed rather chipper. That helped lift her spirits a bit seeing as she's spent most of the day watching the river and sulking. Maybe it was about time she stopped feeling sorry for herself.

Except for the fact that he left his kit here. Looking over at his niece once more Reincub remembered what his mother told him about grief, "Ya know there are five stages of grief? Yes? But do you think you've gone through them all? The sadness, the anger, the denial, all those which in the end don't help at all and you end right back at sadness until you eventually give up reliving those 5 stages? Well, anyways, mother told me that she likes to count them down, it helps her stay calm and collected," the cub stated, and although his mother was not always calm and collected he admired her for her strife. She lied for her family, but out of love. He suppose he could say his mother didn't know how to interact with others because of her past but Reincub could somewhat understand what she was coming from.
