    Alistair climbed a near by tree, since there were only one or two close by. It didn't take him long, though he almost fell off half way. He eventually pulled himself up onto a sturdy branch and sat back against the trunk. He sat in the silence.

    Two squirrels crossed the dirt road (is it out in nowhere or in a city or what?)side by side and dashed under a fence into a yard. The road saw no cars and one of the lamps flickered out. The squirrels scampered up a tree and out onto a branch over the yard of an old house. There they sat watching the only commotion in the night. "They're only kids." a voice said in the dark. "I know, that's why we must help them. For...what we could've had." A second replied.

    Alistairnsat contently in the tree, a small smile on his face. He enjoyed his friends presence, though he didn't hate being alone sometimes. He brand his knees to his chest and rested his arms on top of them, lifting his gaze to where he could see a dull apple in a branch. It was small and bruised, but still clinging to the branch.

    Jessica and Lexi went and sat with Alex. Stealing some beef jerky for themselves. Jessica bounced a little ball that Blade would always catch and bring back for her to throw again.

    Lauren soared around, her wings taking her high above the house. That's when she saw it. A chopper. She swore under her breath and staied there. then she took off, praying to God above that the hunters would follow her. if they didn't, she would dropp down then come at them from underneath.

    Jessica half shifted letting black wings sprout from her back. She sighed and hugged them around her, a little cold. Now Lexi and Blade were racing back and forth down the street.

    The chopper made way for the house. " crap." Lauren muttred. She dropped ina steep dive and came to a stop. " hunters!" She yelled, pulling a bow and arrows out of her bag.

    "Lexi! Blade! In the house now!" Jessica ordered as she came to her feet. The two nodded and went inside as ordered. Alex dashed inside after them, coming out with his gun and Jessica's sword. He threw the sword at Jessica and she caught it. Jessica flew up to Lauren's side, ready to fight by her.

    Jessica hovered right under the helicopter, ready to stab the blade in. She would stab it in the gas tank and let all if the gas poor out. Hopefully it would work with a little help from Lauren.

    Lauren let go of the arrow and it shot through the glass, impaling one of the pilots. the helicopter started to go slightly out of controll, hopefully giving Jess a cleear shot.

    Jessica grinned and stabbed in, just the right spot. She jerked the blade out and swooped back. The helicopter tipped a bit and the swirled around. Jessica moved back near Lauren.

    Jessica flung back with her. Jessica landed hard on her back and rolled over. Alex came running up to the two. "You guys ok?" He asked, knowing that must of been a bad fall, even if they had wings.

    Alex saw the bow and sheaf. He grabbed them and handed them to Lauren. "You guys were awesome. Any wounds?" He asked. Jessica shook her head and her wings folded back.

    Blade and Lexi came running out of the house. Blade ran up to Lauren and licked her face. Lexi hugged Jessica and made her fall back again. Jessica hugged her back and smiled a little. Alex laughed.
