[fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;][font=georgia][color=black]The sky was a blissful blue -- not a cloud was to be seen in the brilliant azure above. Everything was peaceful and warm. New-leaf had come at last! The snow that had been hard underpaw for the past several moons was thinning now, allowing for the soggy soil beneath to show itself after a winter of hibernation. The sun's rays beat down steadily on the grey and white ice, causing elegant rivulets to flow through the dark brown tilled earth, running grooves throughout the RadicalClan camp. The Hitchhikers had been staying with the friendly host clan for a very long time, much longer than their usual docking time period, but the large, friendly, bamboo-dwelling clan had not shown them any less hospitality ever since Insignia's decision to stay just a while longer. After all, both parties knew how dangerous it could be trekking anywhere during the middle of leaf-bare, but now that it was new-leaf again, there was no doubt that the nomadic clan would be setting off in no time.
Moirai shut her eyes momentarily, reveling in the warmth that the sun's light gave; the rays warmed her eyelids and she expelled a puff of breath before opening her eyes again to look around her. Cats were going in and out in great groups, no doubt scouring the returning open territory for prey. The calico could see a few members from an anonymous hunting patrol return through the RadicalClan entrance with a few mice and even a robin. Things were beginning to look so much more positive now that the storms and blizzards had finally subsided. The medic purred in approval as she spotted the light-colored tabby daughter of Insignia springing through the barriers of the camp with a large red squirrel captured between her jaws, and a moment later, the kitten's mentor limped into view -- Scout Ashka's eyes were glimmering with warm pride as the mentor caught up to her apprentice and nudged her shoulder affectionately. Not far behind were the others: Insignia, still weary-looking but not nearly as damaged as he had been a couple of moons prior to now; Misery Business, stoic and held-back as usual these days; Pyre, looking like fire in the sunlight; Tycho, dragging back an impressively-plump sparrow of his own; Styx, looking composed and strong and content with a small vole clasped firmly in his maw. Everyone's spirits were lifted, and it was so clear to see the effect that these spirits had on their owners' health. Moirai's whiskers twitched with satisfaction as she whisked forward to admire their catches more closely.
OOC: Okay, here is the thread you've all been waiting for. c: We needed something to get back on our feet! This is open to all Hitchhikers. Thanks for the nudge, Leonnn. xD
