Leah walked through the park on afternoons were she found herself not busy often to draw or read or just listen to nature anything to keep her mind distracted
She sat on the bench and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear as she ut pencil to paper and drew the scene
Sean was skateboarding and almost
hit her he swerved just in time before hitting
her "Sorry" he said
He gazed down at her with a gentle gaze
"are you ok?" He asked his gaze looking at him
He gazed at her blushing
He looked away "I'm fine"
he murmured
He nodded "yeah ok.." His voice cracked
He looked at her "I know it's just..." He stopped
"I killed someone" he whispered eyes glazed in sorrow
and pain
He sat silently and looked at her
"It was an... accident"
"No yesterday, she was like you except walking
and I was about to hit her I swerved from hitting her.
I was to late I hit her" he closed his eyes in pain
"she went sailing in the air into the road, before she moved a car hit her"
tears streamed down his face "I heard a crunch and the car just drove off"
He shook his head "she lay limb gone"
"But It was" he whispered "If I hadn't hit her"
