  • Dark eyes scanned the walls of the emply tunnel as the beast laid on the ground, her body twitching slighty. She had been laying there for quite some time. Godzilla could hear footstep, light and careful, walking through the tunnel, though she didn't bother to stand and attack. Her gaze went towards the entrance of the tunnel, her eyes narrowing as if to find out what it was making the noise.

  • Knox quietly cursed under his breath as he nearly lost his footing while walking through the tunnel. He wondered where the beast's body was, part of him also wondering if the creature was even still alive.

    {His name... is the bae. ;---;}

  • Godzilla growled softly, it being heard from farther down the tunnel. She turned away and began to burrow deeper underground, not wanting to be found. But, the creature stopped.

    Knox's phone began to ring.

    ((Yas :D))

  • 'Aha! So the creature is this way,' Knox thought to himself with a triumphant grin once he heard the growl the beast emitted. He suddenly froze and let out an annoyed sigh as he dug around in his pocket for his phone, finally pulling out the electronic a moment later. "Hello...?"

  • "If you find the corpse of the creature, could you bring me back some of its scales? I would love to see how its neurotransmitter worked with the large brain it had and how many nerve endings it needs." Spoke his friend, Dr. Alex Geller, on the other side of the phone. The two males had gone to college together.

    Godzilla turned back around, heading towards the noise cautiously. She was still fatally wounded from the outrageous attacks from the United States, Portuguese and French militaries. After all, who wouldn't be cautious if people tried to blow you to bits?

    ((Nerve endings are self explanatory, neurotransmitters are where your brain sends signals to the rest of your body. Oh and, they have a lab next to the water so you'll get to see Godzilla a lot x3))

  • "Will do, Alex. Is that all that you want or need?" Knox asked his friend politely. He started to wonder how he would get the scales off of the creature. It was obviously alive, and it probably wouldn't want a human being near it, considering the events that took place earlier. However, he did want to make his longtime friend happy, so he'd at least have to give it a try.

  • "Try not to get yourself killed like the Tahiti incident." Alex said before he hung up the phone. The Tahiti incident was when they ran across an island with an active volcano.

    Godzilla peaked over the edge where she had burrowed, the spikes on her head being able to be seen. She let out a small chirp, curious if this human was like the others. Perhaps he was like the first one she had encountered many years ago.

  • Knox rolled his eyes at his friend's advice and put his phone back into his pocket. He turned around and started to walk, only to freeze when he saw the creature's spikes in the near distance. He tilted his head curiously when he heard the chirp it emitted. He, then, cupped his hands around his mouth and tried to imitate the chirp, only to fail miserably at it.

  • Godzilla tilted her head before hopping out of her hole. She laid on the damaged floor, before crawling over to where Knox was. The beast let out the chirp again, listening carefully before her head turned away at the sound of military vehicles above ground.

  • Knox was quite stunned that the creature approached him like that. He chirped once more, the vehicles drowning most of it out though. His face scrunched up angrily and he growled, "Damn military vehicles...!"

  • Godzilla glanced back at him, snarling. She stepped back before springing out of the tunnel area, landing on her hind paws and roaring. The creature was not in the mood to get shot again.

    ((Time to be a hero Knoxy boy :3))

  • {What is thou supposed to do? ;--;}

    Knox's eyes widened and he quickly ran towards the creature, panting a bit. He didn't fully understand why it didn't stay in the tunnel, but he didn't think anymore of it as he ran.

  • ((Stop them from shooting at Godzilla. Easy, peasy))

    Godzilla hissed when the pain from her wounds seeped into her head, she stepped back, but she was surrounded by military vehicles. The beast's eyes widened and she looked around, letting out a distressed roar when she realized she couldn't run.

  • {Oh gog, Idk how to...! ;--;}

    Knox's blue eyes widened and he ran out in front of the beast, "W-Wait! Hold your fire, please!" He held his arms out defensively.

  • {*pat pat* You're doing great!}

    "Get out of the way! That creature destroyed Manhattan! It deserves to be put down!" One of the soldiers yelled, sitting on top of a truck. Many others began to agree with him. Godzilla backed down before she went on her claws and knees, looking at the vehicles. Her head was next to Knox, only because at the moment, she trusted him.

  • "You are all right about some parts of that statement, but..." Knox's voice trailed off as he thought of how to carefully word his next sentence. "Let me just say that if you want to destroy this creature even more, you'll have to go through me... And let me just add that doing that wouldn't be a wise choice considering... I know the president of the United States of America...!"

    {LOL, I imagine him z-snapping sassily at them all.}

  • The soldier glanced at his commander. The commander crossed his arms, "Get that beast out of here before I change my mind and call an aerial strike." Godzilla turned her head towards Knox, her eyes showing that she was in pain and that she needed help, fast. After all Alex was a veterinarian.

  • Knox looked at the creature and then thought of something to say to the soldiers. "Honestly, we need this beast for science... We can further it if we study this creature for a tad bit longer, truthfully. If you kill it now, you're only increasing the possibility of, yet, another creature like this showing up in the near future. If you let it live, however, we can probably see how it even came to be and if there are others like it. ... Don't worry, this creature it too weak to do more damage to the city. Can't you tell by its wounds? It was merely protecting itself a moment ago because it is in such a vulnerable state." Knox looked into the creature's eyes, silently asking for it to trust him. He rested his hand on its nose hesitantly. He knew that his friend, Alex, could help it.

  • "Get it out of here then if it is weak!" The commander snarled. Godzilla chirped weakly, nosing his hand very slightly. She raised herself back into her hind legs, looking for a large body of water. Once spotting one, she walked towards it, glad it didn't go through the city.

    Alex waited patiently. He checked his watch before heading out to the pier.

  • Knox silently followed the creature, wondering where it was going and what it was going to do. Once they were far enough away from the soldiers, Knox frowned, "Don't you want to get your wounds taken care of?" He looked down and sighed before muttering, "I should make more friends... Here I am, talking to a creature that can probably not understand me at all."
