• It's been 20 years since the world was destroyed. A mysterious disease caused people to violently kill and eat eachother and at first they were thought to be dead. The zombies everyone had seen in movies.

Later on, the governments started bombing large cities to get rid of as many infected as possible, while the remaining population hid behind concrete walls that protected them.
Scientists realised the infection was in fact a fungus with multiple stages of growth.

    1. Runners: The weakest stage of the infection. They retain many human instincts and features, but they can be easily distinguished from a normal human. Due to the fact that the fungus attacks the eyes first, runners have poor eyesight, but can still see even at a distance. One of the main traits they can be recognised by are their glowing red eyes.

    2. Clickers: The easiest to recognise, having been exposed to the fungus a prolonged ammount of time. They rely solely on echolocation to find their prey, thus making clicking noises. They posses strenght superior to that of a human, but at the cost of their eyesight.

    3. Bloaters: not many infected get to this stage of the infection. The ones that do however are the hardest to kill. They shoot spores at their attacker, aiming to infect. They are about twice the size of a human, but can run.

The few safe zones are controled by the military, the population getting by with rations of food and water and some illegally selling guns and other weapons or objects of necessity. Anyone suspected of being infected, or just free-spirited enough to anger a soldier is shot. The same thing happens to anyone seen outside past the hour set by the military as the curfew.

While most of the population endures these harsh conditions in order to survive, there are a few people who secretly ignore the rules and so far have avoided getting caught.

(I didn't put pictures of the zombis because they're...ugly. Really. But I can if you want to.
I think I'm gonna make a form still...I miss it too much to resist.)

  • ((I'll take your word for it on the zombies. And I'll probably make forms as well, just because I haven't done that in a while. ))

  • ((Oh, I also forgot to mention that outside the safe zones there are groups of survivors that hunt humans. I always forget about them XD
I'm gonna make a form now since my fingers itch. It's been a while since I even said that XD I'll make it pretty tomorrow...))

    Adelaide Victoria Noir

    Appearance:
Her white hair is what sticks out the most and differentiates her from most people. Contrary to popular belief of whoever sees her hair, white is her natural color. She never really got a proper haircut since there was no one to do that for her, so with the help of a sharp knife she managed to cut her hair in almost a bob cut when she was about 12 years old. Some strands of hair remained longer thoguh, and she never really had the time to cut them back then. Ever since, she left those few strands grow feeely, keeping the rest of her hair short. It did provide entertainment for other people who would often laugh and mock her, but now she doesn't care and most of the time keeps a hood over her head.

She has blue eyes, and most of the time a blank, emotionless expression on her face. Her smiles are rare, and tears were never seen by another soul.
Of an average height, she is perhaps a bit too skinny, but in the current economy she had to often skip meals more than she'd like to admit. She is however stronger than one might think, and so far had succesfully avoided all situation involving a physical fight with a human.

She wears a blue and grey slightly oversized shirt under a black hoodie with traces of blue paint on it, dark jeans and boots with a bit of a heel, but that still can be silent enough to stealth trough clickers.
Unlike many of the people now, she is quite careful with what she touches, dirt, blood and other bodily fluids not on her list of prefferences. She prefers to remain clean, although when there is no other choice she won't hesitate to get her hands dirty, or to step on the head of a zombie to kill it.

    History:
She was born in the beginning of the second year of the apocalypse, and barely survived in the cold.
From a young age she had to learn to protect herself from zombies as well as humans since her parents were killed by a group of runners when she was 10, during a breach in the walls. She had been taken away with a larger group and protected by the military, but her parents didn't get the chance.
Until she was 15, she lived with other kids her age in a building turned school and permanent home for almost all children. After that she moved out in one of the abandoned appartment buildings close to the wall. 6 floors of empty appartments all to herself. After going trough all of them and making sure the front doors and other visible entrances like windows were securely locked so that everyone would think the building was just as she found it, deserted, she got to cleaning one of the appartments, the one with the best view over the city and from which she could also look outside the fence. The building still being connected to the main facilities like water and electricity (she discovered this while exploring the basement. All it took was the flip of a switch to have electricity again.) she was quite happy, but still careful, never turning on lights at night.

Next years were spent staying under the radar, attracting as little attention to herself as she could until now.

    Personality:
At first glance one would have the impression of a calm, collected person hardly interested in anything. And she is cold, especially to strangers.
Deep inside though, she is naturally curious, adventurous, though she learned not to take too much of a risk. She will often make plans and never break them, but in situations that ask for it, she will improvise and embrace the unknown and the risk of dying.
Despite her general dislike for humans, she'd go out of her way to save someone, or even an animal.
Her favorite activity while at 'home' is reading, having found a few bookshelves stacked with novels in one of the appartments, as well as clothes that fit her quite well. With time, she sneaked in the building of what once was a public library and added to the small collection.
When inside, she loves looking at the rain, but avoids going outside on such a weather.
She is not picky about food, though she is about what it's served in.
She got used to keeping emotions to herself, so even if she is feeling something very strong she will keep quiet about it and not show it. Words are used when needed.

  • ((Thank you ^^ First time someone likes one of my female characters.
Take your time with your forms. I'll make my second tomorrow morning as now I will soon go to sleep. I don't want to fall asleep at my desk again...my back would hate me for it.))

(( Sorry they're so short. I had good forms for them, then the computer ate them. So this is the best recap I could do of them. As I don't remember everything I wrote on them.

  • ((Aww I would've loved to know more about them. But it's okay, I know how frustrating it is to have to write everything all over again. Let me just make my second form ^^ ))

    Michael Andrews

    Appearance ::
    Hair Color - Black
    Eye Color - Dark brown/black
    Skin Color - Pale

    History ::
He was born just a few months after the apocalypse started, and only blind luck allowed him to survive.
Only his father lived, but didn't quite have any control over him. Once out of the standard time for school, Michael moved and at aroung 16 years old he began 'illegaly' getting guns out of the safe zone to isolated groups of survivors.
Now he still does that, supplying one group or another with ammo or new guns, more often than not stolen from the military, which then fabricated even more for him to steal.
He knows almost everyone, and almost everyone knows him. He'd never miss an opportunity to get a person to pe his permanent helper though.

    Personality ::
Agile and intelligent, he tends to plan every move he makes and learned how to tell if a person is honest or not. Hand to hand combat and shooting are something he go used to, and he's good at making his way aroung or trough a group of zombies, stealthily or using force.
He's good at making people like him and trust him somewhat, and he hates being alone.

Face Claim :: Unknown anime male

  • (( Yeah, the computer ate it. I'll probably update their histories later on, to be descriptions. Though they'll due for now. XD And now that's all our characters completed. ^^

  • ((It's alright, your characters are awesome ^^ Now since we have all of them, let's start ^^ ))

    Adelaide Noir

The girl ducked behind an abandoned car as a few soldiers passed by. It was well after curfew and she was just trying to get back home. Recently, she had discovered a tunnel in her building's basement, and was determined to see where it lead. After having to kill 3 clickers to discover it, she wasn't going to leave it unexplored. For that, she needed food, one or two guns, and everything necessary to put together a small medical kit, just in case.
She quietly ran behind the nearest building as soon as the soldiers were far enough. From there it was just a matter of time, but she wasted none, sprinting trough the streets and as soon as she got where she wanted, she used a small hook attached to a long, thin metal string.

With a clang it latched onto a ladder and she pulled it down quickly. Once she was up, she pulled the ladder back up in the same position and entered the building trough a window. From there it was just stair climbing, all the way up to the last floor. Unlocking the door to the appartment she got used to call home, she walked in, locking the door behind her. If by any chance anyone would decide to come explore the building, they'd have to break down the doors, and the noise would definetely allert her, giving her enough time to escape.

She plopped down on the bed and loaded the two guns she had managed to buy with what little money she had, because if the tunnel lead to the outside world, what use would she have for some pieces of paper only the military thought of as valuable.
And with that it was decided, she would be going out that night.

    Michael

    "Catch him!"
He turned a corner panting. He had no apparent way out of it this time.
    "JUST SHOOT HIM"
A few bullets wheezed past him, too close for his prefferences. He had been running for about 20 minutes now, and he was so tired. But if he stopped, he'd be dead, and he very much preffered to be tired and collapse into his own bed rather than being thrown away like every other dead body.

Running out of options, he decided to hide in the nearest building.
Some fallen letters and the remaining outlines formed the word "Store" and the chain with a lock on it didn't do much to discourage him. Taking advantage of the fact that the military hadn't caught up to him yet - he figured the uniforms were slowing them down - he took out a gun and shot in their direction a few times, the fourth bullet going in the opposite direction, into the lock in his hand. It broke, and the chain slipped loose.
As soon as he could, he sneaked in, tying the chain just as he found it and then he dived into the darkness of what he thought was an abandoned department store, long ago cleaned of every trace of food or anything useful.
From behind one of the large shelves, he watched the soldiers walk by, heading to another street, assuming he ran that way.

  • Noire Teratira

The girl slowly shifted away from the windows of the first floor of the department store as a group of two to three soldiers passed by, even though she was already inside after the curfew. Though she had a pretty fair idea that getting spotted by them would lead to her back in the "protected" housing, remembering how well it did for her mother. Clearly the day was already a little hectic, having to kill two clickers that were getting a little too interested in the boarded up back door of the first floor, than the runner than stumbled across the dead clickers afterwards. Though that wasn't the only reason she was on the first floor of the place, she was trying to fix some of the booby traps that she had made and the only time she could find to do it was now. Taking the old cloths and moving them back where they should be, moving old rusty clothing racks back into their position, along with moving around the dummies to keep every set in the ready to spring state.

Once she was finished, did she quietly and careful make her way over to the old elevator with it's doors rusted open, without setting off one of her booby traps. Only once in the elevator did she push herself up onto the rail on the back wall of the elevator and pushed the mini door to the top of the elevator open and pulled herself through it. Closing the elevator hatch afterward, in which she looked over at the wall where the doors were, at least somewhat happy that the rope latter was still there.

With in a few minutes did she climb the latter to the third floor and pull herself up onto it. Taking a few breaths afterwards trying to regain her breath. Once she had did she turn around and start rolling up the latter so the third floor was then cut off from the ground floor, except for the stairs. Which she avoided after booby trapping the likes of them, to a point she couldn't make it through them anymore. After that she threw herself on the "bed" made of different clothing and dummy stuffing and sighed to herself. Looking at the knifes, and somewhat rusty, pierced shallowly into the old wooded display table nearby. Along with one gun that's ammo was starting to run out. Starting to wonder what life outside the walls were, as it wouldn't be of much use with "money" or green paper the military threw around like it was the meaning of life. "Maybe one day I'll get out of here..."

    Darkausi Alister Bloodbane

The red haired guy raced down the old dusty streets one of the cities outside the wall of the military. Running hard, and running as fast as he could for the last few minutes. With a sigh slightly escaping his mouth as he went along running. At least it seemed like another normal day...

    "STOP HIM! SOMEONE SHOT HIM!!"

Well, almost another normal day. Instead of being chased by clickers or runners, he was being chased by the military for a change. As some bullets whizzed past his head, and the somewhat cocky side was coming forward as he shouted behind him. "Come on! You guys shot like Stormtroopers!" He shouted the first that came to his mind having hid out in a old comic book shop. Which the shout only managed to get more bullet fire in response. "Jhesh! Everyone's a critic!" He said laughing between pants as he rounded another corner to avoid the fire. "Wonder if this will be my last chase..." He muttered to himself as he raced onwards and into an old auto shop with the entire sign on the ground and only the outline remained on the walls. "Maybe they won't look here... Maybe..."

  • Adelaide Noir

Just a bit later, the girl had packed everything. Food that would last her a week, a spare shirt or that she could use in case she got too cold, the few medical supplies she had, all fitting in her backpack, and she even had more room for other things.
Everything else sshe'd take with her would be carried in a place easy to reach.
The two guns in their holsters, two knives and the string with the hook attached to her belt, along with a gas mask in case of spores. Getting infected was not something she'd like.

She made her way to te lower levels of the building, anxiously fiddling with the sraps of her backpack. If the tunnel lead out, she knew she'd be too stubborn to turn back right away, seal the tunnel and pretend it never existed. She'd go outside and explore, for at least two days, and then she would come back before her food would run out. All according to the plan.
Before she knew it, she was in the basement, in front of the tunnel. "This is it...."

It looked like no one had been there in years, and it only took her about 15 minutes of walking to get to the other side which was covered with a wall of plants.

    Michael Andrews

From where he was he had seen someone run away (Noire). Though guessing whoever it was didn't want to be followed, he took that as an invitation to spend the night there, no one would suspct him there anyway.
Of course when whoever was in this building would come back downstairs, he hoped he would not be here, though the chance of finding a sleeping Michael there was high.

With his back against the wall, his backpack in his arms, he closed his eyes and slowly drifted to sleep, waiting for morning.

  • Noire Teratira

The girl sighed, yawning even so slightly. Mostly not want the military to find her, ever. "We'll protect you... blah... de... blah de blah..." She mocked by herself, as how the military was when they brought her and her mother into their protection. "So much their protection did for her..." She growled to herself as her gaze shot to the ceiling, at one point in her ranting she pushed herself up from the make shift bed and walked over the the stuck knifes taking one from the table.

"They say they are "Here to protect us" and when we're in danger they hang us out to dry to save their own hides!" She growled mostly to herself as she launched the knife at one of the standing dummy's and sticking right in the chest. She sighed, as she walked over at took the knife out of the dummy. "I guess I should find a way out of here..." She muttered to herself as she walked back to the table and took the rest of the knifes and wrapped them in scarps of the dummy stuffing from her bed, then running over to the far right wall grabbing an old patched up duffle bag and placed the knifes in them, with the gun, along with the lasts of a medical kit and scarps of food as well. "This place was nice, though I've got to move on." She said heading back to the open elevator shaft and sent the latter back down with a light bump on the elevator's top. "Here I go..." She said to herself as she slung the duffle bag over her shoulder and started down the latter.

    Darkausi Alister Bloodbane

The guy gazed out the windows of the auto shop, noticing the military soldiers had past by without even looking inside the auto shop. He breathed a sigh of relief as he sneaked through the shop, stepping over broke glass and fallen shelves and headed towards the door on the other side of the shop. Only once he had gotten outside did he breath a little easier.

"Guess I'm closer to the wall then I though..." He said to himself looking at the gun on his hip, with a few clips in the backpack of his. Along with some stole explosives like C4 and three sticks of dynamite. "Well, guess I could scout around the wall." He said, once again talking to himself, which he was glad there weren't any clickers around as of current. At which point he started out of the little alley way that he come out at and started in the direction of the wall, not with the intent of going inside that was for sure. Though pulling his gun out of its holster just in case.

  • Adelaide Noir

She suspiciously looked around as she walked. This wasn't her first time outside, but she sure didn't quite like it. She hated the fact that at night was the only time when she could sneak out unseen by the military.
One of the guns in her hand, she walked a little along the wall, towards a small path trough where she thought she could get into the part of the city that she wanted to get into. Even trough the darkness, she could still see the two skyscrapers that were now leaning against eachother after the bombings in the first two years of the apocalypse. She wondered what was out there after she passed them...

As she got close to the path she was planning to take, she heard footsteps and a voice. (Darkausi)
Remaining hidden behind one of the larger pieces of concrete sticking out of the ground and coered with plants, she took out one of the knives. Last thing she needed was to allert the military.
She waited until the person was closer, and once she saw him walk past her she stepped behind him, the blade o fher knife pressed to his neck.
"Where to, at this time of the night?" she asked, though had no intention of hurting him, as long as he wouldn't hurt her.

    Michael Andrews

He was pulled from the dream world by a noise, that wasn't particularly loud. But it was, and after years of wakign up at the slightest sound, it was impossible for him to sleep now.
He guessed whoever was at the top floors of the building was coming down now. He couldn't get out without any noise, so he stood up and waited.

Most people weren't too kind with intruders of his kind, but at the same time he didn't want to be rude. If it was a group he could fit in pretty fast then get out after a while, if it was one person, even better. Whoever had made all the traps that lined the stairs and the other scattered around sure could be useful.

  • Darkausi Alister Bloodbane

What seemed to be a somewhat now peaceful night, no clicker or runners just the annoying military causing him trouble tonight. Though never meant tomorrow night would be the same. "Probably going to be clicker, runners, or both tomorrow..." He said to himself as he keep walking among the wall's boarder, then wondering to himself where to go next. As he was already too close to the military's base for his liking. Maybe he'd go see how the survivor group, that he called "Runnerssassin" just to keep them straight in his mind, was doing. As he still had a few "bridges" that he hadn't burned there.

"Let's see they were..." He was once again talking to himself, though was cut over by the feeling of a knife pressed to his neck. Which was a new feeling for him, as most of the time he was welcomed with a gun to the face than a knife to the neck. Then hearing a voice from behind him, a female's voice if he had to guess. Guessing who-ever-it-was wasn't a runner, and due to being close to the wall probably came from inside the wall. "Where to? Anywhere the wind blows, as long as it inside the wall." He replied which was pretty honest, and he was kind of shocked by the honesty of his answer. "Anyways, where are you going at this time of night?" He asked turning the question back to whoever was holding him at knife point.

    Noire Teratira

It took her some time to climb down from the third floor and step on the roof of the elevator car. Checking to make sure the duffle bag was still on her back. Which once she was sure it was did she open the hatch on the elevator, removing the bag form her over the shoulder position and dropped it through the hatch with a slight clang on the elevator's floor. Though before dropping herself down did she walk back over to the latter and shook it a few time until it came flopping down from detaching form it's hook on the third floor. Then taking the time to roll it up, as it could be of use latter from it's actually purpose or making traps.

Once she had it all rolled up did she, along with the latter, drop through the hatch into the elevator car with the duffle bag. She picked it up and slung it over her shoulder and then turned around, to see one guy (Michael) just standing and waiting there. She raised an eyebrow in question, as usually one of her traps would have gone off if it was a runner or a clicker. Though he probably wasn't either, well most likely a clicker at least. Though the sight of someone else in her place, or well it wasn't going to be her's for much longer, was different. "Well, never thought someone would stumble across this place." She said trying to make herself sound friendly at least. "Your not military, are you?" She asked first, and once hoping it wasn't a dummy she was talking to, like the ones with knife holes in them on the third floor.

  • Adelaide Noir

He seemed quite talklative, even talking to himself. She decided to let him go, and she stepped around him so she was in front of him. "What are you doing in the safe zone? " she asked suspiciously, though it was none of her business and she knew it.
"As for me, anywhere the wind carries me as logn as it's outside. A little field trip if you want to call it that way"

He looked like he had come straight fromm a dusty, old place, his hair a mess and was that a spider web there? It wasn't her job to comment though so she kept quiet about that.
"So...we should go on our separate ways then" she said, but just a second after a blinding light shone upon both of them and a voice tore trough the silence.
    "Identify yourselves"
After a few seconds, Adelaide panicked a bit, grabbed whatever part of the unknown boy she could reach for, which happened to be the collar of this shirt and dragged him into the darkness of the night among the pieces of road sticking out of the ground. Bullets shot past them and she was sure it was only a matter of time until soldiers would be here.

    Michael Andrews

He stared at her in surprise, he hadn't expected...a girl. But then again he felt bad for even thinking that, he knew very well what women were capable of.
"I'm here hiding from the military, so no, I have no connection to them. They do want to kill me, so it's a hate-hate relationship. " he answered with a slight nod to himself.

"Anyway, thanks for not shooting me I suppose. I'll be out of here as soon as I can. You seem like ready to go too, why's that?" he asked, not being able to help the curiosity.

  • Darkausi Alister Bloodbane

"Safe Zone...?" He questioned finding the term unusual as in his mind no where was actually safe. "You mean the area around the Wall?" He asked, as that was the only thing he could think of. "Well, technically I was going to visit the Run-... I mean one of the survivor groups and some of the military decided to make me change my plans." He said catching himself on the naming of the groups thing before he showed that little part. "Field trip, eh. I didn't know of anyone inside the wall that wanted to be outside..." He said, catching the look at his hair probably full of dust and a spider web or two in it by now.

"So I guess we..." He started to say as the blinding light interrupted his words and the voice through the silence there after. Not really knowing who it was, though it sounded like the military stiffs that he had been running away from earlier. Then feeling the yank on his collar as the girl he had just met dragged him into the darkness among the pieces of the road sticking out of the ground. Hearing the all too familiar sound of bullets shooting past them, and staying there would mean soldiers would be on them in a matter of seconds.

"Well, we're going to need some distraction to get out of here..." He muttered looking over at the girl once his eyes had adjusted to the darkness. "Unless there's some other way out..."

    Noire Tiratera

"Okay, well that's good. Well somewhat. As I don't want to be found myself." She replied to his answer, seeming pleased with the answer anyways. Along with he probably wasn't guessing that a girl happened to be living in here. "As well, let's just say I have a good reason to hate the military..."

"Beside, I don't want to stick around here. Inside the military containment." She replied to his question. "Not when they can drop protection and run for the hills. So I want to head for outside the Wall and the safe zone. Probably be just as dangerous as in here." She said with a soft shrug to herself. "Anyways, so what's the military doing after you?" She asked, as she couldn't help being curious.

  • Adelaide Noir

"Safe Zone meaning anything that is surrounded by those walls and protected by the military." she answered to him panting slightly. "You haven't been around here for a while haven't you?" she asked with a slight smirk, taking out one of the guns.

"Should we shoot them and get out of here? " she asked, a bit reluctant to bringing him back with her. She couldn't trust him after having met him just a few minutes ago.
If she was alone, she would have just sneaked back in, locked all doors and pretend nothign had happened for a few days until things would calm down. But like this, she didn't really knew what to do.

    Michael Andrews

"Outside is more dangerous than here. Trust me." he shrugged remembering everything he sometimes had to go trough just to have a few peaceful hours of sleep.
"I'm...I have a quite weird, but neccesary occupation. Which may or may not involve selling the military's weapons to survivor groups outside. The military doesn't seem to like that though, so they'd be very happy if they could kill me" he smiled shoving his hands in his pockets.

"Of course I wouldn't do this if it wouldn't be profitable. If you're interested in going outside, perhaps you may not have to go alone. It would be dangerous anyway, especially if it is the first time you'd go outside" he said with a shrug. He wouldn't really mind having a bit of company.

He stayed silent for a moment, stopping himself from making some comment about the cobwebs in his hair making that apparent that he hadn't been around here in quite a few years. Though he held back the urge to do it, knowing right now it wouldn't be the best idea. Though he didn't notice her take out a gun.

"Shooting them would be a waste of ammo. As there's still clicker, runners, and occasional bloaters out there. Save your ammo for them." He replied after a moment to think it over, remembering the last time he had run out of ammo because of the military encounter where he had shot at them. Then just happened to run into a group of runners, it wasn't fun in the least though he managed to get away with some quick thinking.

"Well, your going to have to trust me on this one." He said with ease, taking the bag off his back and digging through it pulling out the block of C4 with the detonator already in it and a remote to detonate it. Putting the bag down, and taking a deep breath did he step out from the shadow and launch the block in the direction of the blinding light. Only barely getting back into the shadow as the bullets whizzed past. Then with his had on the detonator and with one brisk motion of his thumb did he it the switch on it, and in a matter of seconds a fair sized explosion roared through the air pushing dust and dirt form the ground into the air creating a sort of smokescreen.

"Well, if we are going to get out of here we better be now. As this won't last forever." He said looking back at the girl, wondering if she would trust him or not. "As you can go back into your "Safe Zone" Wall utopia and our paths will probably never cross again. Or you can come with me and run. And I'll let you know, running with me isn't safe or easy. It's your choice with you come or stay, but one way or another I'm running."

"Well, it's dangerous enough in here as well." She said, deciding it was a good time to take a look at the floor to her left. "Anyways everything dangerous now-a-days." She sighed, lifting her gaze from the floor to look back at the guy this time around.

"Sounds like a unique occupation." She said with a rare smile on her face. "Well the military wants to kill you, and they already think I'm dead." She said even though she thought it over for a moment, maybe it wasn't the best thing to say. Though it was the first thing to come to her mind on the matter, so it came out as well.

"Yes it will be my first time outside, though if you meant with experience with runners and clickers I've already had my fair share of meeting them." She said, trying not to make herself sound like some burden he would just have to protect. As from his words he seemed to be offering to take her outside the wall. "Though I am interested in going outside."

He watched as he took out something from his backpack and threw it towards the soldiers, though how far he threw it she wasn't sure. The loud sound of the explosion made her cover her ears and stare at him wide eyed.
This was something she haddn't prepared for when she planned this little trip.

"Running with you isn't safe or easy" she repeated with a smirk. She hated breaks in her routine, being a creature of habit. But this one she had caused herself and she wasn't about to back away into the shadows she came from, only to stay in her safe little house and get bored.
"Oh I'm coming alright, no way I'm staying here" she answered, ready to follow him.

"True, everywhere is dangerous." he agreed with a nod. "It is unique, but also dangerous. It wasn't once when I was close to dying"
Remembering those times sure wasn't his favorite thing to do, so he focused on the conversation for now.

"Infected are one dangerous thing of going outside. You don't know half of what's out there, though if you want you can come with me. I wouldn't mind the company and help. It would also be easier. "
He adjusted the straps of his backpack while waiting for a reply.

After hearing the girl repeat one of the things he had said, made him start to think that she was going to come with him. Though what could he say for sure about this girl, as clearly she had been inside the wall for maybe a good portion of her life and was only coming out on these little "field trips" as she called them. Guessing with ease that she could slip back inside the wall, back to the cosy little deathtrap there.

His eyes seemed to lighten just a little, and as a smirk appeared on his face with her answer. "Alright, so now we run." He said, with some edge of certainty that she could easily follow him, as he started off into the explosion created smokescreen. Which has used the last of his C4, though he could maybe find some more or even make some as he had learned how over the years. Though as he ran, he looked back to make sure the girl was following along behind him and pointed ahead of him, hoping she would get the idea to keep running in that direction.

"Well as much as the military doesn't like to admit it, the Infected are already inside the wall." She said shifting slightly on her feet, remembering the two clicker she had found looking into her little hidden escape exit, then the runner that happened to stumble across after she and shot the two clickers. "And yeah, I don't know what's out there. Though sitting here and waiting from some clicker or runner to kill me or become infected myself, isn't really something I would like to do."

"So, if I can come with you. I'd really like that." She said in reply to his offer, as she adjusted the duffle bag strap over her shoulder.
