Let's see how long Timey's muse can hold out, shall we? Calamitycub had thought about the vents of the past few days. She'd found a friend, met a few people, and got promoted. It all happened rather fast. She hoped she was doing well with her new rank of Paladin Trainee. Calamity had vowed to protect this clan and its members with her life, and that was what she would do.
The striped tigress hadn't slept lately. At all. Paranoia, perhaps? She was paranoid, but no. Insomnia? Likely, but also no. She felt sad. Bad memories had resurfaced the past day, filling her soul with its relentless hurricane of depressed thoughts. She remembered things that didn't even happen to her, somethings that she knew weren't her memories. And it puzzled her, the rage, the desperation, the pain. Worse was, she hid it from everybody. She didn't want to burden anyone with her problems. Not like they'd care. At least, that was her excuse.
Instead of sleep, she stood at a brook, thinking. It was a cheerful and serene place. The water tumbled over smooth stones with a relaxing rippling noise. An intake a breath announced her sleepiness, but the feeling was soon smothered into oblivion. Now was not the time for sleep.
