    Okay, Karen decided to intervene. She stepped up behind Nightmare, tapping him on the shoulder. With concentration, she forced the glowing to fade, her head throbbing slightly. Power negation was useful in these situations. "I think she's done," she said, heading over to Izy. "You two okay?"


    Aaron glanced up at Ember, looking towards the flames which were now being extinguished by automatic sprinklers. The water drained away. He couldn't burn the dummies with someone close by, so he decided to make conversation with the interrupter. "Hi," he greeted Ember.


    Donovan searched the internet, browsing boredly through a website about summoning a ghost that was most likely fake, judging from the mystical layout and crazy complex descriptions. After a moment, he starting wondering what he was attempting to accomplish here. He decided that talking to an expert would help. He looked around. The room was empty. "Hey, is there any way to summon a ghost?" A voice rose above the general white noise. "Yes, there is. You need a host, however, or else it won't work. Like, a human, or an animal, or a toy." That was surprisingly helpful. Don stood up.

    Karen frowned as Nightmare began to panic, and forced herself to stop containing his powers. The glow would come back in moments. She looked towards Izy, glancing between them. "Sorry, buddy. Should I get you two to the infirmary?"


    Donovan had been opening his mouth to ask the ghost something else, but stopped when Aero entered the room. He waved a little in greeting, then went to the computer, this time looking up "poltergeists real life accounts".

    Mark nodded, "I think a bowl of cereal will work." he glanced over and saw his little brother at the far side of the room, frowning sadly. It had been weeks since Kane had talked to him. They had had a nasty fight, and he still hadn't come back around. Mark turned away and went over to pour himself a bowl.


    Kane seemed to have fallen back to sleep at the table.
