Maybe he didn't recognize him! He felt a bit relieved, but was still frantic. "I-I'm a N-Neko...." He spoke quietly, a few whimpers escaping his throat as he remembered something. He was basically the only Neko, so it wouldn't take much for Caius to recognize him.

Neko? Caius paused, trying to wrack his mind for anything to do with the word. He had read it somewhere, somewhere. He subtly set Tyon down, but still kept a strong hold in him. It took a minute, but Caius finally remembered reading about a wanted fox-human. He had pitied him; the master looked like a sleazy bastard.
"So that's who you are, eh?"Caius smirked just slightly, returning his attention to the rarity. -
He whimpered, fear and panic rising into his system. "M-Maybe..." He murmured as he quickly glanced around, his ears twitching slightly. "/Maybe I could run for it!..No, he has a d*mn hold on me...I could fight back?....No, i'm to weak, by the looks of it, he's strong as hell.\" He thought, frowning slightly.
-
A bit of pity flashed through Caius' eyes, but he stood unwavering.
"You've got a pretty hefty bounty on your head,"He stated softly, trying to keep his voice smooth as to not frighten Tyon with his tone,"Some would kill to have you, and money like that would benefit the people quite a bit,"Caius thought aloud, but something told him he could subject this poor thing to whatever hell he had been through, at least not voluntarily. -
"N-No!! P-Please! Don't turn me in! I-I can't go back to that life!" He frantically semi-yelled, thinking of how the SlaveOwner would rape him, abuse him, and starve him. "I-I can't go back!! P-Please!" He whined, his ears folding back. He kept thinking that Caius would turn him in, which made him panic even more as he kept whimpering.
-
Caius' eyebrows arched with sadness, eyes dancing over the poor soul he held. What could he do? His position might get him out of not returning him, but what would he do with him? He had plenty of pets as it is. Caius shook his head, reminding himself that this was a person in front of him and not an animal.
"I won't, for now,"He decided,"But, I'm going to take you back with me. It's getting late anyways. And by the looks of you, you need something to eat."Caius continued to speak quietly, but his grip slackened just slightly as he tried to show he had no ill intentions. -
Most of his fear and panic faded from his blue orbs. "R-Really?...T-Thank you..." He trailed off, his ears flicking. His blue orbs were filled with slight hope that he might escape this lifestyle, and happiness that Caius wasn't treating him like a Bad Omen!
-
"Come on,"Caius said quietly, shifting his grip from Tyon's shirt to a gentle hold on his wrist as he led him back to his palace. He may hate hiking, but he knew the path well.
"Oh, I forgot to ask your name."Caius sent an expressionlsss look over his shoulder to prompt the Neko. -
"T-Tyon. Yours?" He asked, faintly smiling as he walked after Caius. He started to feel a little bit safe. "/He could strike at any given moment! Don't feel safe, don't trust him!\" A voice in his head rang, but he ignored it. He rarely felt safe, so he tried to savor the moment.
-
"Caius,"He responded simply, navigating the hillside the best he could in the dimming light. Soon enough, his palace came into view. Caius began to wonder how he was going to get Tyon through without any questions, but he dissmissed it. He wasn't doing anything wrong, per say. He quickened his pace until they were walking through the hedges leading towards the back entrance, the guards paying him no mind.
-
His blue orbs widened when he saw the palace. "Y-You're a prince..!?" He asked. "/Holy shit! I could've been put on Death Sentence if I stole from him!\" He was gratefull that he didn't make any move to steal though. Well, he kinda did didn't he?
-
Caius just nodded simply, casting a slight smirk over his shoulder as he figured what Tyon was thinking. Soon enough, they came to his quarters. They walked into the large room without saying anything, and Caius let go of the Neko. He began to think about what to do with him. What could he do? Caius knew he couldn't send him back, couldn't turn him in. Maybe he could just keep him for himself...?
-
Tyon started to think of the same thing. "M-Maybe I could be a Servant..?" He absentmindedly offered, his tail flickering. He yawned as he gazed around the room, his ear flicking lightly.
-
"Maybe,"Cauus agreed,"We'll deal with that later. But for now, stay here while a I go get you something to eat."He didn't really wait for Tyon's response, leaving his room again and walking towards the kitchen area. There would only be a few servants if any left working; their day had ended at sunset.
-
He yawned, his ears folding back slightly. He walked over to Caius' bed and hesitantly laid down. "/Why am I suddenly Tired...?....Ah, it doesn't matter..\" he thought as he curled up, and ended up being half-asleep half-awake.
-
Caius returned shortly with a bowl of soup in his hands. As he had expected, the kitchen was empty, and he wasn't going to track down some random cook to make something when there was a perfectly could bowl of soup on the stove. He smiled, watching Tyon for a moment before he set the soup on the bedside table, giving the neko a gentle tap on the side.
-
"Hnn..?" He gazed at Caius for a moment, before sitting up, yawning. He rested his gaze on the bowl of soul, and reached for it. He hesitantly brought his hand back, thinking that it might've been posioned. "/Maybe he was lying...\" He thought as his ears folded back.
-
Caius' grin faded as he watched Tyon, "I didn't do anything to it, Tyon,"He assured in a low voice,"I'll eat some myself, if you want me to."Until a situation arose to where he would have to return Tyon, he wanted to make sure he felt as safe as possible.
-
He hesitantly gazed at him. "C-Could'ja..?...S-Sorry that I don't trust you fully..." He murmured, his ears folding back. His tail curled around his leg as he gazed at Caius. He yawned once more, shaking his head slightly.
-
Caius waved away the apology, shaking his head. He took the bowl, and without hesitation took a sip of the soup from them metal spoon.
"See? Nothing wrong with it."
