Carl laughed harder, "Oh no! Don't hit me, it hurts sooo bad!" His voice was heavy with friendly sarcasm.
Spencer laughed a little, he didn't even know why he laughed he just felt like it. "How come the simplest things you do make me so happy?" he looked back at Dante again.
"I have no idea sweetheart." I whispered. I smiled more." But, I'm glad that I do make you happy." I murmured with a warm smile.
Nicole laughed and shook her head." Don't even start." She said with a smirk.
"Maybe it's because you're magical!" Spencer laughed, not really having a reason for that sentence. He moved his arms to wrap around Dante's neck.
"Fine, i'll drop it... for now!!" he grinned evily, planning to tease he again sometime in the near future.
Nicole laughed softly and rolled her eyes." Whatever you say." She said.
I smiled and slipped my arms tightly around him." Yeah....Maybe." I said with a teasing wink. I then kissed his forehead, running my hands along his sides,
Spencer let out a little yawn before unwrapping his arms from his neck. He snuggled up into Dante's lap and rested his head on his chest.
Carl smirked before focusing back on the road in front of them. It was getting darker but if they went fast they might be able to make it sometime the next day.
I watched him warmly and kissed the top of his head. I held him close and smiled. I closed my eyes and raised one hand, slowly stroking his hair.
Nicole stretched slightly and gazed out the window.

Nick stopped the car when they came up to a large fenced in area, this had to be the safe zone. He turned off his car and looked behind him to see Carl do the same.
I had fallen asleep, still holding Spencer in my arms. I kept him close and let out a peaceful sigh.
Nicole blinked open her eyes and looked around. "Are we there?" She asked.
Carl nodded, "We must be, this place looks pretty heavily protected.." he slowly got out of the car, making sure it was safe.
Nick turned around and first shook Dante's knee then shook Spencer's, "Come on guys, wake up. We finally made it!"
I flinched and blinked open my eyes. I looked around and yawned. I looked at the place. I could see a few people from the military guarding a rather large wall to enter he safe zone. Well..:Must be safe then. I sighed.
Nicole looked around with slight unease. She got out and waited for Carl.
Nick walked over to Nicole and Carl. "Do we just walk up to them?" he didn't want to think they were some of those things.
Spencer mumbled something when being shaken before opening his eyes. He looked around for a few moments,, trying to fully wake up.
I waited for Spencer to wake up, slowly rubbing his back. I sighed. I blinked.
Nicole looked around and shrugged." I'm not sure." She said.
"We could walking over, with our hands up or something?" Carl thought that was their best shot, show them they aren't a threat.
Spencer looked at Dante and blinked a few times before trying to rub the sleep from his eyes. "'m still tired," he mumbled.
"Then I'll carry you. We're at the safe zone." I said. I got out and then lifted him into my arms. I started walking over to the group with him.
"It's worth a shot." Nicoke said.
Hearing the end of th plan Spencer regretabally hopped down from Dante's arms since both of them need their arms to be free. He did, however, grab onto his hand and held it fairly tight.
Carl nodded," Alright then, let's go." He put his hands up and began walking towards the guards, followed quickly by Nick.
I looked down at Spencer. I squeezed his hand reassuringly before walking behind them. I raised my hands slowly, keeping a grip on Spencer's hand.
Nicole followed behind them. I looked around and winced as a guard looked down at us from on top of the wall.
Spencer raised his handd along with everyone else. Two guards near them turned around and looked slightly surprisef but didn't point their guns at them, a good sign.
A rather talk man moved over to them. He gazed at them. "Are any of you guys but?" He asked.
"No. None of us." Nicole said. He moved over to us and stopped a few inches in front of us.
