  • (Uh...I feel sick to the stomach just doing this cause Rangi is my baby, my most important character, my muse, my creativity...but...as with all things good, he had to come to an end. I've started to hid a brick wall with him and when I put on his suit and get ready to write as Rangi my fingers just froze on the keyboard unable to come up with anything, It's frustrating and It's getting me angry at myself and by inability to write. So it is with a really heavy heart that I am doing this. Maybe after a couple of months I will come back...maybe as Rangi, maybe as some other character. Just know that I am still on this site but won't play Rangi anymore due to my muse death of him. I love the Skulls and all of you amazing people so if you ever need anything from me don't hesetate to hit me a pm, perhaps I can still offer some assistance to the Skulls through plot ideas, events and so on cause I really want for the Skulls to become more active and I would hate it when I come back to see it only a ghost of it's former self. I won't stretch this any further so let's get on with the show 8))

Oh boy! It's time! It's finally time! It's the day of the wedding and Rangi is up in the clouds right now. He spend the entire morning being pampered by Pink, Orange and Blue cause he send Purple and Yellow over to Rosen's room, he can't have his bride looking like a homeless person. The tricky part of cleaning his fur from the dirt, leafs, twigs and mud that he usually has gathered took hours to do and his poor painted companions feel worn out. Luckaly for them, Rangi has a flock of birds that are more than eager to take over the next step. The painting. As a Swahili, Rangi decided to throw in some of his peoples traditions in the wedding and a part of that is for the groom to be painted over to show his happiness and resolve for the oncoming event.

It's now well in to the afternoon and the wedding should be starting soon. Rangi, colored like a rainbow slowly started to make his way towards the mansion and up towards the room that he and his fellow Skullers managed to clean for this event, a small velvet box in his maw where he holds the ring for his mate. But, along the way, something caught the dogs attention.

Stopping in his tracks he lifts his gaze to see the most beautiful flower he has ever seen. Deep blue in color just standing by itself at the edge of a tree branch dangling over a rushing river. A wide goofy smile spread on the dogs maw as he thought "OH gosh! that flower is perfect for Rose! It's a sin to pass it by!" He drops the velvet box on the ground next to the tree and leaps up, clawing at the bark and slowly making his way up. With a couple of huffs and puffs, he managed to get up to the branch, flattening himself he crawls to the tip where the flower was and as he was inching his way forwards the thin branch started to shake more and more due to the dogs weight. Rangi on the other hand payed it no mind, he only wanted to get that flower for Rose.

Outstretching his left front paw he gently grasps the flower by the root and a wide smile spread across his maw "Gorgeous" He whispers as he tugs it out of the branch. But just then, the branch gave way and Rangi found himself falling down to the quickly rushing river. He lands with a splash, the branch falling on top of him smashing his ribs. Panicking, Rangi quickly swam upwards to get some air but the current of the river was too strong it kept pulling him down. He screamed but nobody could hear him, he tried to claw at the bottom to force a stop at walk up, but all he managed to do is make his paws bleed. Just then the current smashed his head up against a sharp pointy rock knocking him out of consciousness and his body limply traveled down the river being harshly pulled by the strong current. Blood soon oozed out from his wounds contaminating the water and the proud paint that he colored his pelt with got washed away like a forgotten memory.

The only trace of him left is the small velvet box that he left at the bottom of the tree and the gorgeous blue flower gently lying next to it in a immortal show of love.

The wedding had been eagerly anticipated, and as Carcosa limped toward it, she felt a thrill of excitement.
    But what was this?
She leaned forward to sniff the flower and ring, then turned from them in alarm. It was rare that she yelled, but here she couldn't keep herself from a pained shout. "ROSENCRATZ!"

  • ((OH MY GOD RANGI NO. BUT ROSENCRANTZ'S RANGI! I can't believe this is actually happening, I don't know what to say. I'm so sad that you're going...Please, please, please bring him back one day because I'm sure that we're all going to miss you. I hope you're muse recovers a little and that you do well with your other charries. I'll PM you, speak to you soon :S))
Rosencrantz had been given gift not so long ago. One she had never thought would be bestowed upon her. Such beauty was it given lightly, and being so quiet, small and over all anxious she barel expected to keep a friend within the clan. But the truth was that what Rangi had already given her was of no physical form because it came in all shapes and sizes. Like great energy it could neither be created or destroyed, only shared. And that bond was, for them, to be unbreakable. The hound had shown the lonely wolf love. Care. Passion. A life that was so bright and beautiful that Rosencrantz's only purpose became to protect it. They had had trail, strains and still battled through them all. Now life had brought them to their wedding day where they would celebrate their up and coming future together with the rest of the clan. Little did either of them know that fate would hinder them and all in a moment, that joy would turn to sorrow.
It was to be the happiest day of their lives. The beginning of their lives together and all that it would bring them. Rosencrantz could feel this brilliant euphoria coursing through her every cell like nothing that she had ever felt before. In the meadows on the manor estate the wolf found herself leaping and bounding and giggling and cheering because containing herself became simply impossible. This continued all of the morning and every time she thought about her mate. The one and only true love she had ever had or hope to have. Life couldn't be more perfect for her.
Among the brightly colored flowers and buzzing bees the Skuller danced without a care. She had spent an hour or with her mate’s furry friends this morning who had pampered her as if she were a queen. Rosencrantz might even go as far as say that she felt like one for just this once, there was nothing more perfect than these wondrous mix of emotions. The whole clan could be watching her in that very moment and not an ounce of her brig would care. All she wanted now was to be with him and for them to go off into their destiny together.
    "ROSENCRANTZ!"
A loud heart piercing scream echo aloud for what must have been many miles. Despite the distance from it's direction it was enough. Rose knew that, even though it was not from him, that that cry meant that Rangi was in serious danger. If not mortal peril. For one excruciating second the wolf felt as if her pulse had stopped and her last breath had been taken. It was as if death kept upon her or stood near to mock her now in her loss, if anyone were to believe in those sorts of superstitions.
From then on Rosencrantz was always on step behind reality. She was never quite sure whether it was her feet she could feel bounding beneath her, whether it was her eyes that she was seeing though. Or her cries that she could hear. She found Carosa on the bank but her the most perfectly formed flower that lay completely still upon the bank. Though, it was the velvet box that she recognized as that which continued their rings. Rose had been sure that Rangi had it. In fact she knew that he hadn’t let it out of his sight for the last few days. And the petals of the blue Rose had been stained with a Crimson that carried Rangi's scent but other than that there was nothing.
"Rangi..." She whispered, checking over and over again that the scent was his even though it was completely unmistakable. What did this mean? Where had he gone? Why had she been summoned here? Trembling and twitching she looked up and round to Carosa who stood just by her, eyes filled with utter confusion. "Rangi...Where's Rangi?, what happened here? Why is there blood?" The wolf asked with total desperation in her shuddering voice.
In what seemed like only a second Rosencrantz's whole world was swept away with the torrent of the once peaceful waterway. As her gaze found the broken branch just behind the feline's shoulder and the streaks of crimson that washed the rocks, the wolf began to realize all that had happened here.
“Rangi…RANGI!” The wolf screamed in terror, pounding for where she had once been stationary toward the edge of the river without a concern for her own safety of where she could end up. “RANGI! RANGI!” Her cries continued as desperation turned to hysteria that was almost like madness. All joy was overwhelmed by darkness. Death had come to the river that day and taken her lover away.

Carcosa stood silently, mourning Rangi's passing in wordless prayers. There was nothing she could say that would ease Rosencratz's pain, and so she padded to her, wing still lame beside her, and pressed herself against the grieving wolf.

    nO nO nO NO NOOO
Remi already lost Ethan! ( TTOTT )
Imagine what this will do to her.

[color=maroon]IC: Remilia had been excited too.
Weddings were not to be treated lightly, and they were special days. Everyone was supposed to be happy today-- truly happy.
This day was supposed to be the shining diamond among all of the coal.
She always looked perfect, but she had outdone herself for this day.
Too bad her efforts would be ruined almost immediately.

Drawn by the call, the vampiress had sped over instantly, feelings of excitement quickly replaced by panic.
What was happening?! Were they being attacked?! Had their perfect preparations been ruined?! Was someone going to die (by her) today?!
The moment she saw them, a horrible feeling of dread washed over the ghost, and a pit opened in her stomach.
Rangi? Where was...Rangi...? They couldn't have a wedding without the groom, so...where...?
She unsheathed her claws and dug them into the ground.
    No.
She refused to accept this. Not on the freaking wedding day.
    No no no.
She glanced at the bride. What a horrible state he had left her in...
No no no no no no.
Remilia was suddenly reminded of Ethan. She could see Ethan's body crystal-clear, dangling limply from the rope, the scent of Riverclan fresh (or maybe it was stale, but either way...).
    [b]NO!

    her mind screamed.

    Water. She hated water.
    And besides...
It was probably too late now.

The vampire-cat was bristling all over.
"We're going to find him. Now," she ordered, scarlet eyes narrowed and glowing.

Somehow, she had gotten quite attached to the guy.

And a rock feels no pain

The shout was enough to spur Aolani's attention. Confused and alarmed the clouded leopard scrambled after the voices. The shouts. Rosencrantz? What was happening? Coming to a halt, the feline took in the scene before she understood. Chocolate brown eyes became to dim with tears. No... No. Not Rangi.

Aolani had been here before the African wild dog, and to say he made life interesting was an understatement. He was like another Pori, but the corgi had been long since gone now. How many? How many had the leopard had to witness pass? How many more...?

"W-we have to find him," she agreed softly, although she knew deep inside it was unlikely. Yet, she couldn't accept that either. She couldn't. She couldn't lose another clanmate. Not again. She'd had to say goodbye so many times, she couldn't accept another was gone too. She couldn't.

  • Rosencrantz was only millimeters from jumping into the water herself when she felt a wing around her shoulders. In this vile world of blood and death and cruelty, the wolf had a friend it seemed in Carcosa who stood beside her now to mourn. And so too in the other that came, Aolani and Remilia though none of them could replace the massive loss that she had just encountered. On their wedding day as well.

Maybe it was out of shock or confusion the wolf did nothing but stand there, staring into the foaming water and cried out to him though no one ever responded. An endless chant of "RANGI! RANGI! RANGGGIII!!" Continued, only growing more frantic. Of course she heard Aolani and Remilia's suggestion and her heart willed them to go for she did not believe he would die without her truly knowing but, nothing, nothing but fish could survive the torrent. Rangi was lost.

If everyone else wanted to stand like statues, fine with her.
"I'm going," she growled, stalking away.
She'd fly over the river and search.
