Matthew stood up in his bed, stretching out his arms. He felt as though he was forgetting something very important.

Subject 2 heard te creak of boards and said "That must be him"

5 had turned into a cat out of fear, but instead of shifting back, she crept up the stairs with a soft mew. (she was startled by the creaking)

2 decided it was safe and let her wings out

Matthew put on a shirt and walked out of his bedroom. He heard a soft mewling sound. "Wait a minute. I don't own a cat!" And then he remembered the events of last night.

5 Skittled away, pressing herself against the wall. Terrified, she tried to make herself invisible by becoming one with the wall, which looked rather ridiculous.

Matthew came into the kitchen to find his can opener on the floor. He picked it up and put it away. He grab a bowl and spoon aling with a jug of milk and cereal. Those two must be hungry. he took a plater and poured some milk in it. "Hey 5, i got some milk if you want some!" He said putting the plate of milk beside the dinner table.

She had hesitantly followed him, and now she tentatively lapped at the milk while watching him closely.

2 walked in and said "Wht ya making"

"Cereal. I bet your hungry too, eh?" He said getting up. "Would you like some or do you want something else?"

5 finished her milk and pushed the bowl towards him with her nose. Hitting his foot, she looked up at him, slightly afraid.

"Oh, you are all." He said taking the plate and putting it into the sink.

"That's fine" 2 said

Shyly rubbing her face against his ankle, a small, rumbling purr started in her chest. She liked being a cat, but she liked nice people like this boy and 2 even more.

"You know what" 2 said

"What?" He said petting 5

"We need names" she said

5 purred louder, arching her back and licking his fingers.
