    Welcome to our Tribe.
    The Tribe Of Galaxy Mist.
    A place where cats look to the sky and see more than stars,
    but Prophecies and futures, beliefs and hope,
    Life and Sacrifice.

    Our Tribe is a Stargazing group of Faithful cats who live in rough terrain around a mountain. Forests surround this mountain, and several hills puncture the horrizon. Life here can be rough, but it's a small sacrifice to be able to live with the stars, moon and clouds.
    The Galaxies.

    [glow=purple,2,300]General Tribe Information[/glow]

    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°·.• ๏µя ţяɨβ€ •.·°•[/size][/glow]
    Our cats are few, but we make up for numbers in our teamwork and strength.
    We live peacefully together, and beside a few arguments and disagreements, all is calm.
    Parts of our Territory are lush woodland, perfect for hunting Mice, voles, squirrels and other
    Forest-dwelling creatures. The majority of our Homeland is taken by a large mounatin.
    known by us as 'Sky Rock', as it appears to touch the sky.
    Our camp is situated on a ledge half-way up the mountain, with a rocky path leading to it.
    Our Young Ones first lessons are held in camp, a climbing excersise,
    as it is too risky letting them climb down the slope immediatly.

    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°·.• ǿµř ȼąʍρ •.·°•[/size][/glow]
    Our camp is set on a ledge someway up the mountain. It has piles of rocks along the edge,
    as to keep cats from falling. From afar, our camp just looks like a regular flat on the mountain, as our nests and dens are in caves, though some cats like to sleep in the open.

    [glow=purple,2,300]•°·.• ʍ๏๏ɲ ȼą˅€ & h€ąℓ€я'$ ď€ɲ •.·°•[/glow]
    Few plants grow on the mountain, so our Healer is hard-tasked to find herbs for pultrices and pulps.
    In the Moon Cave, our connection to the SkyTribe, moss grows on the walls due to a small stream that runs from a small waterfall, into a pool, then to the stream. Soil is found in the far corner of this cave, where our Healer grows the rarest herbs. Healers and Tribe Leaders communicate with SkyTribe using a blue limestone rock in the center of the pool, using small stepping stones to reach it.
    The Moon shines down onto this pool at the Full Moon, illuminating it.

    Our Healers live in a den-cave down a passage in the Main Tunnel to the Moon Cave. It, too, has moss growing on the walls, though this is never used for bedding. The Healer's Den is a large cavern
    with holes in the walls to store herbs. Two larger crevasses are padded with moss for the Healer and their Apprentice. A small pile of damp Moss balls are pushed to one side for keeping.

    [glow=purple,2,300]•°·.• hµɲţ€я & ǥµąяď ď€ɲ$ •.·°•[/glow]
    In another cave lies the Hunter's Den. This cave consists mainly of Moss. The floor in covered in a thick layer of Moss, with nests made from grass, ferns and feathers, with a Moss base. A large hole in the roof allows sunlight to seep through, but with ferns filtering it, so the Den has a striped appearance. The entrance is covered with a thick layer of ferns and vines, so any dirt is rubbed off when a Hunter enters the den.

    The Guards have a similar den, though their entrance is not as covered, so they have a clear veiw of camp, and can get out quickly if there's an intruder or invasion. They put small, rounded stones in their nest, as to keep their body tough, even when they are asleep. It is rare for a guard to sleep properly in their nest, as the stones keep them on the edge of conciousness and peaceful dreaming. This is so they can listen for enemies, even in their nest.

    [glow=purple,2,300]•°·.• hµɲţ€я & ǥµąяď ąρρя€ɲţɨȼ€ ď€ɲ$ •.·°•[/glow]
    Hunter Apprentices, more commonly known as Hunter To-Bes, live in a similar cave to their mentors, though it is smaller and there is no light source. The lack of light is supposed to teach the To-Bes to adjust their eyes to the dark. Their den entrance is obscurred by two rocks, not completly blocking the entrance but enough that they need to jump to get out. This is to strengthen their leg muscles, as they are required to run and jump whilst hunting. After their Hunter Induction, a newly appointed Hunter must hunt for the Tribe. If this is performed at night, the Hunter will gain more respect, as hunting at night is harder.

    Guard Apprentices, more commonly known as Guard To-Bes, live in a similar cave to the Hunter To-Bes, though the entrance to their den is clear of rocks and only a few ferns grow there. They do not sleep with stones in their nest, but before a Guard To-Be can become a Guard, they must have stayed up guarding camp 7 times, once for each moon of their training, and one final night after their Guard Induction. If there is an attack on camp that night, and the newly appointed Guard alerts the Tribe and helps fend off the attacker(s), then he will gain more respect within the tribe.

    [glow=purple,2,300]•°·.• $Ќ¥ ℓ€ďǥ€ & ţяɨβąℓ ℓ€ąď€я'$ ď€ɲ •.·°•[/glow]
    The Tribal Leader, more commonly known as Leader or Tribe Leader, lives in a cave higher than the rest. There is a rocky path leading to his/her den, with a ledge outside the entrance. The Leader's den is large, with a hole in the stone roof. Filling this hole is a frozen pool, which, from below, looks like a thick sheet of ice. As the camp is in a cool temperatured area, this ice does not melt, meaning the ice is ancient and will be ancient for a very long time.

    Sky Ledge is the outcrop outside the Tribal Leader's den. It is where he/she stands for Tribe Assembalies (Meetings). The Tribe Advisor, more commonly know as Deputy or Tribe Leader's Succeedor, sits on a large boulder outside the Moon Cave entrance. The Deputy sleeps in the den he/she was originally sleeping in before being declaired deputy.

    [glow=purple,2,300]•°·.• ɲµя$€я¥ & Ќɨţ-ʍ๏ţh€я ď€ɲ$ •.·°•[/glow]
    The Nursery is hiddenbehind the boulder below Sky Ledge. It is a roomy cave with a thick layer of moss on the ground and up the walls a tail-length, as to keep the kits safe. The nests are on the far side of the den and a pile of dry Moss Balls a piled against the nearest corner for the kits to play with.

    Kit-Mothers, more commonly known as Queens, sleep in a den off the Nursery when there aren't any kits to care for, or if there are no jobs in the Nursery for them to work on.

    [glow=purple,2,300]History & Tradition[/glow]

    [glow=purple,2,300]•°·.• ๏µя ţяąďɨţɨ๏ɲ$ & яɨţµąℓ$ •.·°•[/glow]
    Our Tribe is a very Ritual Based group, and these traditions have been used for moons upon moons. Some Traditions are so old that they've been forgotten by all but the elders, and they are no longer performed. Here is a list of our current Rituals and Traditions;

    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°•-ȼµяя€ɲţ яɨţµąℓ$-•°•[/size][/glow]

      [li]When a Hunter To-Be is ready to become a Hunter, a Induction is held, in which they are given a mature name (explained below). After the Induction the new Hunter must hunt for the entire tribe. If this action is performed at night, the new Hunter gains more respect, as hunting at night is a tougher task.[/li]
      [li]When a Guard To-Be is ready to become a guard, an Induction takes place, in which they recieve a mature name. After the Induction, they must guard the Camp that night, making sure all their Tribemates are safe. If there is an attack on the Tribe, and the new Guard alerts the Tribe and helps defend camp, they gain more respect, as they have prooved the are loyal and can be trusted.[/li]
      [li]At the Full Moon, our Healer enters the Moon Cave, and is not to be disturbed, and every now and then, our Leader will enter the Moon Cave to ask for advice of our Ancestors. They touch their nose to the Blue Limestone in the center of the Star Pool and spent the night there, dreaming in the territory of SkyTribe.[/li]
      [li]When a cat dies, their body is placed on the Sky Ledge so the Tribe can pay their respects. The Elders then bury the body on a ledge higher up the mountain, so the dead cat's body can be closer with SkyTribe, but also stay near their living breitherin.[/li]

    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°•-ȼµяя€ɲţ ţяąďɨţɨ๏ɲ$-•°•[/size][/glow]

      [li]When a kit is born, they are given a name that does not relate to their strengths or role in the clan, as they're kits for SkyTribe's sake! They are given a name that relates to their appearance and the events that are happening at that time, example; Cloud over Full Moon, because it's a cloudy night at the Full Moon [Cloud] (Feel free to use this as your kit name) or Dawn over Quiet Hills, born at dawn in the Hill area of GalaxyTribe territory [Dawn] (Feel free to use this as your kit name)

        [li]When a To-Be goes through their Induction Ceremony, they are given a Mature name. This name represents their strengths and explains their role in the clan. Most Mature names have something to do with Stealth, Nature, or Space and the Galaxies, example; Whisper of Silent Mist [Mist] (feel free to use this as your Hunter name) or Claws of Ridged Thorns [Thorn(s)] (feel free to use this as your Guard name)[/li]
        [li]Sharing prey at Dawn and Dusk, perhaps even SunHigh, to strengthen social skills and friendships.[/li]

      [glow=purple,2,300]•°• ąɲȼɨ€ɲţ ţяąďɨţɨ๏ɲ$ & яɨţµąℓ$ •°•[/glow]
      These Rituals and Traditions were abandoned long ago (several generations ago) and only a few of the Tribe elders remember them. Some are so old no cat really remembers them, but they are part of Tribe Legends.

      [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°• ąɲȼɨ€ɲţ яɨţµąℓ$ •°•[/size][/glow]

        [li]When a kit is born, they are not named until the night following their birth. During the day the kit is not to be allowed out of the Nursery, or even it's nest. That night, he/she is taken up to the Sky Ledge, and held by the kit's parents for all the Tribe to see. The parents are then, and only then, allowed to name their kit. This Ritual is the most ancient Ritual.[/li]
        [li]When a battle is won, the clan will return to camp to rest and be treated by the Healer and the Healer To-Be. Once all were treated, the Tribemates who were fit to walk would sit in a circle in the camp clearing, to thank the SkyTribe for their victory and that they had survived. If a cat was lost, they would ask their Ancestors to guide the cat's spirit to the SkyTribe Hunting grounds. The leader would then perform the ritual lines; 'May your Spirit fly to the Hunting Grounds of our Ancestors, and hunt peacefully for many more moons. We shall be joining you soon, but our Tribe will continue, thanks to your help and support. May you find prey to hunt, and shelter when you sleep.'[/li]

      [size=11pt][glow=purple,2,300]•°• ąɲȼɨ€ɲţ ţяąďɨţɨ๏ɲ$ •°•[/glow][/size]

        [li]When a kit was born, it would be brought into it's father's den, to sleep in a Hunter/Guard's Den. This would be to teach it what lay ahead of it. This Tradition died out a while ago, though it is still remembered by the oldest of the Elders.[/li]
        [li]Whilst a To-Be was in training, they were expected to train atleast once a day, and hunt/practise atleast once a day. Hunter To-Bes would Train in the morning, then hunt in the afternoon, and Guard To-Bes would Practise their fighting and tracking skills in the morning and Train in the afternoon, in order to avoid arguments about who trained when in the Training Hollow. To-Bes nowdays are allowed to only hunt, practise or train atleast once a day.[/li]

    [glow=purple,2,300]Tribe Territory[/glow]

    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°·.• ๏µя ţ€яяɨţ๏я¥ •.·°•[/size][/glow]
    Our Territory is mainly taken up by a Mountain, called Sky Rock. This is where our camp is set, but there's more to our Territory than just a Mountain and some trees.

    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°·• ȼąʍρ •·°•[/size][/glow]
    Our camp is based on a flat someway up Sky Rock. It is the size of an average clearing in a forest, but it is mainly open, as our dens are in the Rock, in caves. We have few obstructions, just a few rocks outside dens and along the edge of the cliff. A small path leads to the Tribal Leader's Den and Sky Ledge. We meet under the Sky Ledge for Tribe Meetings, usually to induct a Hunter or Guard, or To-Bes.
    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°·• ţh€ ƒ๏я€$ţ •·°•[/size][/glow]
    The Forests surrounding Sky Rock are lush and dense. Paths run through the trees, having been worn down by gernrations of Tribe paws. Clearing are rare, but they're there. Usually the Hunter To-Bes Train in some of these clearing, and sometimes to Guard To-Bes will also train there, though they use one of the most used clearings, as not all battles will have soft grass for support. A river runs through the forest, gurgling into a large pool in one of the main Training clearings. The Guard To-Bes sometimes practise on the water's edge, so that they become aware of their surrounding when in combat.

    [glow=purple,2,300]•°·• ţh€ hɨℓℓ$ ąя๏µɲď $Ќ¥ я๏ȼЌ •·°•[/glow]
    There are several hills surounding the Sky Rock, none of which are as tall as the mountain. These hills are of little importance, but they are there, and we respect them. Some young To-Bes have contests to see who can climb the fastest.

    [glow=purple,2,300][size=11pt]•°·• ʍ€€ţɨɲǥ ƒℓąţ$ •·°•[/size][/glow]
    At the very peak of Sky Rock it is completely flat. We meet under the stars and Half Moon to share the latest news, battle tactics and ideas. Kits are not permitted to attend the Star Meeting.
