  • Madelyn grinned and nodded. "Thank you, my lady," she said, curtsying and then striding from the room. Marl shook his head, as if to clear his muddled thoughts after seeing Madelyn. "She...sure is different," he said.

  • "Tell me about it." Charles muttered, walking out the room to do the assignment given. Felicity gave a light huff, people would be much less productive if this carried on. "Yes well... Will you be needing anything, My Lord."

  • Marl shook his head. "Not for the moment. I just want to relax from a while." He moved to enter the room, then paused. "By the way, get some rest for yourself. We have a funeral to crash tomorrow."

  • Felicity held back a smirk and nodded. "Of course." Though, she wouldn't really rest, maybe just do less work than normal. She turned and walked down the hall, maybe it would be a good idea to supervise Charles and make sure he wasn't ruining the flower beds.

The next day, Charles had gotten up early in attempt to see what Madelyn looked like when she first woke up, but he was only greeted by Felicity, brewing some tea.

  • Madelyn entered the kitchen in her nightgown, her hair in utter disarray. Marl was right behind her, dressed in his best suit, freshly delivered to him by the tailor early in the morning. "You'd best get dressed," he said, glancing at Madelyn for a fraction of second. "We're all going to a funeral today for Lord Phantomhive." Madelyn's head jerked up sharply. "The Queen's lapdog?!" she whispered sharply.

  • Charles was too busy staring at Madelyn to answer, while Felicity narrowed her eyes in mild curiousity. "Yes... That's him, what of it?" She asked, Madelyn having that reaction had been slightly surprising.

  • Madelyn swallowed, thinking back almost a year. "I...I picked his pocket on the street once," she said in a nervous tone. "I didn't know who he was, and he had a lot of money. But then...that night, the tall guy he'd been with appeared in my home. He's noticed me stealing from the kid." She shuddered. "I ran, but he was always in front of me. I couldn't get away. He was like as ghost or something. He never touched me, but I ran myself ragged trying to escape. Finally, I collapsed in an alley, and he just walked up and asked for the money back. I gave it to him, and he said to make sure it never happened again, or he'd make me wish I was never born."

When her tale was done, Marl exchanged a glance with Felicity. How would their new hired help react to knowing that the maid is the same kind of creature as Sebastian?

  • This was a troublesome situation. Felicity merely looked out the window and thought for a moment before speaking. "His name is Sebastian... Sebastian Michealis. I'm not going to sugar coat anything, you either believe me or not. But he's not human." As she spoke the maid chuckled, but there was no joking tone to her voice. "Neither am I infact, though that's a minor detail.""

  • Madelyn laughed. "Yeah right! That's not a very good joke..." she trailed off when she saw that neither Charles or Marl were laughing. "Y-you're serious?" she said incredulously. "You honestly expect me to believe that she's some kind of...what are you supposed to be? A monster? A ghost?"

  • Felicity made a face, "A demon." She stateded simply, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. "And you aren't expected to believe anything, but it sure would help you out if you did."mAs she spoke, the maid finished the tea and offered a cup to Madelyn.

  • Madelyn pushed the cup away, taking a step back. "You're all loony," she said fiercely. "Sorry, I quit." She turned and strode down the hall towards her room to pack her things. "I won't work for crazies," she called over her shoulder. Marl shook his head, sighing. "And I was just beginning to like her, too."

  • Charles looked heart broken and he turned to go follow her. "Madelyn..." He whimpered, taking a few steps. Felicity raised an eyebrow, well, that reaction had been the most probable, but still it was a tad irritating. She'd gone through all the trouble finding her. "Should we tell her it was a joke?" She wondered out loud with a scoff.

  • "That," Marl said softly, glancing at Felicity. "Or we could show her the truth. You have a few flashy little tricks up your sleevs, right Felicity? Just don't give the lady a heart attack."

  • "Mm, no promises." Felicity smirked, an eager expression growing as her eyes changed in almost a flash. It felt so liberating to be able to let her more demonic side out once in awhile. Though of course, even though she acted as if Madelyn's death meant nothing to her, she'd make sure the woman wouldn't be fatally injured. Just like Marl requested. "This shouldn't take long." She concluded, before leaping over to Charles and whispering in a vermonous warning. "You... Make sure the Lord doesn't leave this general area, after all, I wouldn't want him to think any less of me. Understand?" He merely nodded, of course, Felicity mostly wanted to be alone because that gave her more freedom in things she could do. Without another word, she turned and disappeared in the direction the other maid had gone.

When she first saw Madelyn again, Felicity looked signifgantly different. For one, her hair was no longer well groomed and pinned back, but instead, was long, and wild. Bangs went down covering almost the entireity of her eyes, safe for the bottoms which glew a almost haunting colour. Her teeth had grown sharper, and what almsot appeared to be fangs were almost frighteningly evident, even without opening her mouth. Her outfit had also changed to, the maid uniform that was ever present had disappeared instead there now was leather corset, with black stockings traveling up to her mid thigh and jagged heels that gave her more than enough inches in height. Though it was partly covered by the fabric she wore around her neck, it was a dark lace and resembled a cape that she could easily wrap around her entire body. To top it off there seemed to be a gray mist floating around her. Demons weren't known for dressing modestly. Felicity had decided on a softer approach, simply appearing out of nowhere behind the maid, it was better than some of the other things she'd had in mind. "I really wouldn't reccomend leaving so soon, what about your pay?" She whispered in almost a sadistic purr.

  • Madelyn whirled upon hearing Felicity's voice. How had the maid gotten so close to her without making a sound? She soon got her answer. Her pretty eyes widened almost to the size of saucers at the sight of the newly demonic appearance Felicity bore. She opened her mouth to speak, but was so terrified that now rods emerged. She took a step back, then another, until she tripped over her own bags and fellto the ground. This jolt seemed to bring her out of her horrified trance, and she whispered, "This isn't real. This...thqthis is just some kind of dream. A...nightmare."

  • Not this again... Felicity had been hoping for a somewhat better reaction. She got 'This is a dream' more often than not. "No... I assure you, it's not a dream. If it were you would have woken up at this..." She paused to raise her hand up and then clench her fist. That sent a jolt of pain through Madelyn one of her more prefered powers was to send pain into through their opponents bodies without physically touching them.

  • Madelyn arched her bacub and screamed in agony. So, it was real. She was being hurt. Panic flared in the girl's mind. She had to escape! Desperately, she kicked out her legs, defiantly attempting to knock the demon's feet out from under her.

  • Felicity merely stepped sided, avoiding Madelyns kick as if it were nothing. Though, humans hardly were ever a challenging fight. "Come now. Calm down." She rolled her eyes, though along with that she gave a malicious smile. "I will only kill you if your defiant. So I recommend just calming down and thinking this over."

  • Madelyn writhed in agony, eventually curling up into a ball as if to shield herself from the demon. "F-f*ck you," she yelled at Felicity. "What do want from me?"

  • Felicity looked rather bored, but eased off a bit. "It's rather simple..." She started with a sigh. "You just have to stay. I don't have the time to deal with finding a new maid, and you were working out fine. The Master took a liking to you."
